The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
My original pair of glasses got scratched up by a nail file. I was devastated, especially since I work from home and need my glasses for work. My glasses were just over a month out of warranty. I emailed them asking if there was any way they would make an exception and repair my glasses. I explained that I'm facing severe financial hardship and needed my glasses for work. I always got a super speedy response, each time from someone new, and EVERYONE was kind! They decided to replace my glasses for free even though the warranty had expired. They said "We know how hard these past few years have been in everyone, and we want to help." I don't think I've ever received better customer service. I really and truly appreciated this. I'd recommend them through and through and order with them again some day.
Several family members have shopped at Warby Parker and their glasses are impressive as far as quality of workmanship and aesthetics are concerned. I ordered my first pair and was pleased with the ease of the Home Try On and ordering online. I have purchased glasses and contacts from several high end optical stores as well as both Sam's and Costco. I will continue to use WP for my vision needs. If you haven't tried them yet, I suggest you do and see for yourself!

I'm still wearing Warby's! Yes, they're still cheap! They loosen, they scratch, they fog up, but I still don't care because they're inexpensive enough to keep changing out styles. And still contribute to a great cause. And what really keeps me coming back is the unbelievable online technology and service. They just added an app for an eye exam to renew your RX for $15! It took 5 minutes. Not 5 minutes on the phone to make an appointment 1 month out and then waiting in an office for 20 minutes before the hour exam and then forking over hundreds of dollars. 5 Minutes and DONE. $15. This company rules and I love them. BTW- I have a million Warby sunglasses which is what started the whole thing and I have zero complaints.

I'd call these the "toms" of the eyeglass world. Terrible quality lenses for prescription but I mostly wear contacts so it's not a big deal - it's what I signed up for, for the style. They cloud up instantly, have a rainbow glare around the edges, slip off my face constantly, and the case for them won't close once they are in it. It's actually funny how bad they are! But, they're ridiculously cheap. However, I would pay much, much more for a better quality with the same great style. I say go for it Warby- charge more and make better glasses - you can still donate a pair and be a great ambassador to charity.
It looks like an Apple store there are so many people milling about. Great selection, plenty of folks to help you. Prices either $95 or $145. Picked what we wanted, they shipped to our house. A really painless and rewarding experience.
Bought a pair of prescription ‘Abe' sunglasses at Warby Parker which seemed to be very poor quality. Earpiece broke off at the hinges due to rusted screws only about 1 year after purchase. Seemed like an easy enough fix so I took them back to warby to get them fixed and was told that since one of the screws was ‘stuck' inside the frame it was ‘impossible' to retrieve and all I could do was buy a new pair for about $225. When I questioned further she said ‘look I've been doing this for 20 years, and trust me it's not possible to get the screw out or for the glasses to be fixed'.
I left the store frustrated but instead got them easily fixed elsewhere for about $25. Bad experience, will never buy from WP again, bad quality and they don't stand behind their products.
A very impressive eye wear company selling amazing products for a really good cause. Everything is top notch, including their designs, their product quality, their customer service, and even their website. I just can't say enough good things about Warby Parker:
1) Very trendy frames and prescription lenses for only $95 (yes, $95)
2) A website that allows you to try on frames virtually by uploading a photo
3) Allows customers to try up to 5 different frames in 5 days with a pre-paid return shipping label
4) 30-day satisfaction guaranteed return policy
5) Donates a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair sold
6) Works with non-profits to promote third-world women entrepreneurship
There's really no reason to ever buy expensive designer glasses again. Who knew a company could literally make the world a better place at the same time as providing you with the latest in trendy eye wear?
I think the recent press about Warby Parker was too much for the company to bear. I ordered prescription glasses from them last year and while I'm not a huge fan of the actual frame I ordered (too heavy, bulky), their prices are good and frames interesting, so I tried again. This time around the service is absolutely horrible! After about five email exchanges, I'm convinced the factory is too swamped to keep up with the new demand and the customers reps just keep asking repeated questions (some I have answered twice now) to stall my order... and to make me think they are giving me good service/attention. They did offer a 10% discount on my order, but it's been 3 Weeks since I placed my order and I just sent another set of answers... oh my...
Tip for consumers:
Prepare to wait a very long time....
Warby Parker has very attentive service but the basic product is awful-- and I was lied to. I ordered glasses which came in 12 days and hurt my eyes. Warby Parker immediately offered to make me a new pair and send them over night. But at Warby Parker, "overnight" means a week. I still havent gotten my glasses and Im kicking myself for not having dealt with my local optician who generally has a 48 hour turnaround time and only costs about 5% more than WP. It just isnt worth the trouble. Stay away!
I bought two pairs of glasses for my daughters which at some point broke. We went back the second time last week after the summer break as my daughters did not use glasses over the summer. They took my credit card information and said its all done. Shipping was an outrageous $60 each if I wanted to get them in two days. Then two days later they sent me emails that they could not process the credit card even though they took payment at the store. So so much for getting them before school starts. Go at your own risk. You will wait a long time unless you pay for super expensive shipping and they will break soon after. Its probably one of the worst places to buy glasses.
My prescription for left eye was 1/4 point too strong and they would not redo the lens (even though I was willing to pay for it) without making me go back to the doctor or optometrist. There are many other places online as well as eyeglass stores on Main Street that I have made these kinds of adjustments for me before
Seriously, I don't get the negative reviews either. My experience was top notch from beginning to end. Very responsive customer service, absolutely love my glasses. I had just gotten a new pair from my eye Dr. and then proceeded to have them mysteriously disappear so didn't want to spend a lot on another new pair through her. Enter Warby Parker and BAM my eyes are happier than ever. Super fast too.
Tried as I might, I really wanted to like this company because they have nice looking glasses. Sadly, since this is all done "on-line", their method of taking measurement is by your computer's camera, or by a picture you take on your phone. I let them take control of my web-cam, not once but 3 times - each time they had another reason why the picture wasn't good enough. O. k., I get it, they want to make sure their measurements are spot-on. Anyway, can't think of a better reason to go get this done at your local vision center.

Look, Warby Parker is THE place to get sunglasses. Period. They have such a good grasp on style from classic to modern, they got it all! Check out their website or one of their brick and mortar stores, it's totally worth it!
I've never wrote a review before but today, I drove 45 minutes to check out Warby Parker frames in Nashville. I was there for about 30 minutes and the lady helping me said very little to me... in fact, she was so concerned about whatever she was doing on her laptop, that I felt invisible. I would rather spend my money elsewhere. If customer service is something you're looking for. Don't bother..
Best experience ever getting a thing I hate - glasses. I have two regular pair and one prescription sunglasses and I am happy with the style, price, service and performance. Yes, the first time I ordered on line, I was asked if I'd approve an extra $30 for high index lenses if my prescription required it and I did see the $30 on my bank card for a day, but it was credited back without my asking. I consider this a computer glitch, not some scheme to cheat the customer. I've chatted over style selection by email, lovely people, quality product. Shop here!
I ordered from Warby Parker more than a week ago and as of today they have no idea where my package is. I got an email saying it was shipped, but it was an old tracking number from over a month ago to some address in Jersey... Not sure what they are trying to pull.
I called in numerous times, and all they would say was that my package was being treated abnormally and to wait.
I just hope a actually get my glasses that I paid for. They didn't offer any sort of compensation for my order being outside of the 7-10 day receiving window they promised on their website. This company being run by incompetent people who give attitude to customers when they call and don't try to make it right.
If I end up getting my credit card bill before I receive my glasses, I will dispute the charge and not pay until I get them!
I went into my local Warby Parker store and found the perfect frames for me. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I love the way I look in my glasses which is insane because I've always been a contact person. Reading some of these other reviews makes me wonder if people have any common sense at all. My glasses came a little warped and I went to my local optical shop to have them adjusted. How can they possibly fit your face perfectly out of the box? You're not there for them to adjust them to your face! Also THEIR PRICES! Polycarbonate lenses AND frames for $95? Literally just do some research about it.
Tip for consumers:
If you're having problems or are unhappy, call the customer service people. They've helped me with a couple issues and they're great.
I went back to add a new prescription to an existing pair of Warby Parker glasses and was told, "we don't make those frames anymore, you should go to Costco" (even though I only wanted new lenses).
I'm done.
P.s. I don't think they really sell anything for $95 (unless it frames with no lenses). Mine were $309.
I ordered two pairs of cute glasses. And after 3 phone calls to keep providing them information I already provided, one lost order, and 4 weeks of waiting I finally got my glasses. Both had the wrong prescription - and each was wrong in a different way. I had to go back to the store, wait for a half hour, be told "it's not their job" to figure out how to handle the problem ("that is done by customer care ") I just returned them. Colossal waste of time to deal with WB
Had an appointment at 9:45 and when I arrived at the Roosevelt Field location the lights were out. When I came back at 10:00 they took already taken another customer in for an appointment and was told by the apprentice optometrist that he didn't know if I could be seen and would need to be squeezed in. He was rude and condescending. No customer service and poor lens quality. Never again
Warby Parker is very quick to request payment and very slow to deliver a promised product. My order as well as my son's became lost within the Warby Parker system and after calling multiple times while experiencing extended hold periods I learned through very vague customer service statements that the glasses were not yet in production. This is after 2-3 week ordering period. I do not recommend purchasing eye-wear from this company. Strong on promise, short on delivery.
The best customer service I have EVER received! Warby Parker genuinely cares about their customers and allowed me to exchange my glasses 2 times with no problems at all! Quality service and quality product, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
The first time I used Warby Parker when they first started they were excellent. Poor Service now. I kept waiting for second set of glasses I ordered and I looked at my order status on their website. Stated "We need more information". When you call no one answers the telephone and they never respond to your email. I guess they have become so big they cannot keep up with the demand of their customers. Shop somewhere else.
Ordered a pair of glasses using their home try-on service. As another reviewer commented, they're quick to send those out. I placed an order for glasses, and then the problems started. First, they made a mistake with the charges for thin lenses, which I had to point out to them. Then their customer service ghosted me. No one responded to e-mails or live chats asking for a status update. I did finally reach a customer service rep by phone. But really, if a company is going to tell customers to reach out by e-mail or live chat, customers should not have to jump through hoops to reach someone. I truly hope that the glasses I ordered will be up to snuff but now based on the problems I've already experienced, I'm really worried...
Nice people but delivery is not within quoted times; no one in the store I went to knew how to properly fit glasses (I ended up going back 4 times). Long wait for fitting. Finally I returned 3 pairs of glasses (Warby Parker authorized return) and I am still fighting for a refund for one pair. Really incompetent opticians and time wasted experience.
Warby Parker sells its own line of designer prescription glasses and sunglasses. Warby Parker is based in New York City and has retail locations in several cities including LA and San Francisco. The Warby Parker name comes from two fictional characters created by Jack Kerouac.
