The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
I've used where Warby Parker for years and have purchased multiple pairs of glasses and tried on tons of frames and I've never had an issue with them. I had scratches on my lens and waited until the year warranty was almost up and then exchanged them and when they returned there was a new scratch on one of the lenses and even though it was past the year mark at that point they happily fixed it. I ordered my last pair after a home try-on and the temples were too tight and I couldn't wear them. They refunded me no questions asked. Never pay for shipping, polycarbonate / anti reflective/ anti scratch coating comes standard. Right now they don't have any frames I like and I'm having a miserable time finding anything comparable anywhere near that price range. (Note: I have a simple rx and small astigmatisms in both eyes)
I ordered my glasses and they said it would be 7-10 days. I get an email after 4 days saying the doctor doesn't have me on file so I call my doctor and get it sorted out. Then after two weeks I call back because of no glasses and they say they never got the fax from my doctor they will call again and expedite the delivery. A week goes by and I call back. Still no forms so they say they will do the same thing and take $15 off. Another week has gone by and I still don't have the glasses... I don't think they are even trying. It has been over a month.
Let's just say not a pleasant experience for me.
I ordered my glasses from you August 2015.
Loved the glasses but they fell off my head at an airport in Paris and even after I checked lost and found they were not turned in. I just want to know if the loss is covered under warrenty?
My daughter has purchased a couple of pair of Warby Parker glasses in the past and was extremely happy with the process... I had ventured online a couple of times but wasn't ever confident enough in my choices to purchase a pair for myself. I ventured upon a local shop carrying Warby Parker frames and had a heyday trying them on... love the fact that the cost of the frame includes everything, and the mission of the organization, too. Bought my first pair, had a fitting issue which was promptly, courteously and professionally addressed - I'm sold! I am telling everyone about the outstanding customer service, chic styles and great value of your product. Keep up the outstanding work!
Just discovered upon informing WP that my transition lenses no longer darken in the sun as they have and are supposed to that this shouldn't happen. But they would be willing to discount $150 expensive progressive transition lenses AND new frames even though my frames are fine and I just need replacement lenses. What a scam. Why would I do more (expensive) business with a firm whose product failed in a way the firm said to me—in writing—that it shouldn't, yet invites me to do (more defective product?) business with it? Once burned, twice shy. A word to the wise.
Ordered some lenses from Warby Parker and when the glasses arrived in the mail, they were the wrong prescription and I noticed the quality was not as good as my previous pairs. Think twice before purchasing prescription glasses from this website.
Being tired of paying excessive prices for eyewear, I was happy to come across Warby Parker. I like market disruptors and was intrigued with their business model. I was hoping to have found the Zappos of the optical business.
Nothing could be farther from the truth. Customer service was awful; promised delivery timeframe was not even close to met. In fact, on the day i was expecting delivery, I went online to check out the status of my order. And then engaged in an online chat with a "customer service" specialist. Only to be told that not only had my glasses not yet shipped, but that the order hadn't even been processed.
Too bad. There is an opportunity for some lower-cost, online, strong customer service player in this market. It's just not Warby Parker.
Sadly, back to LensCrafters for me.
My experience with Warby Parker has been outstanding even with the pitfalls (that were caused by me) during my transaction. Long story short I put in the wrong shipping address and noticed after they were shipped out. I contacted them and they gladly remade a new pair to send to my new address. The person I contacted each time was amazing with every email they sent. Very kind, polite, and open to do anything to help me. The only struggle was getting another eyeglass prescription because mine expired and the pupillary distance, but I just asked my doctors office and they gave me the info. I haven't received my frames yet, but I hope they get here soon because I can't wait to wear them! I loved the frames when they came with the home try on.
Ordered my first pair rather easily. Within a week I had a scratch on my lens. I called n they sent me a replacement pair since it is under 90 days. Within another week my left lens has a scratch. I have been so careful only cleaning them with eye cloth. I have never had glasses that scratches soo easily. Frustrated and sure I have no options

You get what you pay for! The R lens pops out easily. I should have sent them back after I saw the in store rep wiping the lens and it popped out with mild pressure. In addition to the lens, the frames need to be adjusted frequently. Not coming back.
I ordered contacts online. Five days later and they still haven't shipped. They can't tell me what day they will ship other than I should expect to receive them by 10/19. Hopefully they'll arrive but it shouldn't take almost 2 weeks to order contacts. I could understand if there was an issue with a prescription or it had expired. But it was brand new and uploaded with the order.
A new prescription, I purchased two pairs. I went to one of their shops and met with their 'optometrist' for my progressive lenses. That was three months ago. Since then, I have received THREE remakes of the glasses: They can't seem to get them right.
The first time, the lenses were placed in the frames at a tilt… the second time the progressive began too high on the lense, and the third time they omitted it all together.
I won't put myself through this ever again.

None. Three tries… they could get it right.
I ordered 5 frames to try on, chose one I loved and sent them back with my prescription. My glasses came and I LOVED them. I scratched them up in an idiotic new-glasses wearer ski incident and texted the company. Since I didn't have any other glasses they have me a one-time waiver to keep mine and they'd send me new frames and lenses and I could send the scratched ones back when the new ones arrived. I did that but my new ones had a fault in the lens. I texted the company, they apologized profusely and are sending me another frames/glasses set. I give them two thumbs UP.
I purchased 2 set of eye glasses. I was told they were going to be delivered before the expected delivery date. I didn't get them on the delivery date nor did I get them 4 days later to the changed delivery date. I did get a message that there was a problem with the delivery address. I have lived at the same address for 30 years and never had a delivery issue. Still haven't gotten my glasses and I will most likely never order glasses for Warby Parker again
Seems like a great idea but they definitely do not have their act together. Weeks of chats, texts, pictures for pupillary distance, emails for more information. Resending my prescription. Letting me know now after all of this wasted time that they can not accommodate my prescription and produce lenses for me. REALLY, you had my prescription as the first piece of information. Wow what a waste of time and energy - I would definitely not recommend this company. If they can't get the simplest details correct I can only imagine what the finished product would be like. Take a hard pass!
I never thought I would order eyeglasses online, but I took a chance with Warby Parker. It took a couple of "try at home" attempts, but I finally found a pair that I liked. It took a while for the glasses to get to me, but they fit right out of the box, and the prescription is spot on. I just started wearing them, so I can't comment on the material of the glass frame or the construction. But, so far, so good. My only negative comment is that they don't offer the selection and unique glass frames that the other online companies offer. Still, if you just want a pair of serviceable eyeglasses, I would give Warby Parker a try.

I sent in my order with my prescription 4 weeks Ago. I got the first email today telling me to contact them with additional information in order to start the order. What a complete waste of my time. The were extremely quick to contact me telling me to return their samples though. I cancelled and will go to a different company.
I talked to someone on the phone, Sam R. I believe. She was not kind on the phone and seemed very uninterested. It was hard for me to talk to her because it seemed like helping me was the last thing she wanted to do. As a company that prides itself on good customer service, this was a disappointing experience.
$250+, 100 texts and emails back and forth, try to upsell, I don't even care about the money. I just wanted the glasses. The title encompasses my review, and ironically, the story of their rise and fall.
I got my first pair of Warby Parker glasses a couple years ago and it was such an easy and painless experience. Figured I'd try it again for my next pair of glasses and boy was I wrong! It took me 6-7 tries to get them to measure my PD and by the 7th time I gave ip and cancelled my order. So inconvenient and so annoying. I kept getting the same responses of either my picture was too far away or too close. I do not recommend them. The quality of their glasses has gone way down because of popularity and it's just not work the $145.
I purchased two pair of glasses at the Century City location because I was there doing some shopping. I was very disappointed when one of the pairs arrived damaged. I went to the Studio City location on Saturday because it is closest to my home. LEVON WAS AMAZING! He was so friendly and he repaired my glasses on the spot. I left the house sure that it would be a hassle to get them fixed, but I was pleasantly surprised. Levon made it totally seamless. Very satisfied with my glasses and the service I received. Thank you.
I had an awesome experience with Warby Parker. Their shipping is extremely fast. I ordered my home try on, picked out two pairs I wanted, and ordering the glasses was extremely simple. I got them about 4 days after I ordered. Unfortunately, the new prescription in them wasn't working for my eyes-- but that was no problem for them! They signed me up for an exchange with NO EXTRA COST associated, even though my new prescription wasn't their fault at all. I will be receiving the glasses with the new prescription today. The customer service was impeccable, and the glasses quality is great.
We have purchase several pairs of glasses in the family and the quality of glasses are not good. The frames enlarge over time and either slide down on your nose or the lenses pop out. The lenses are also scratch easily.
I purchased a pair of glasses from WB a little over a year ago. When they arrived and I tried them on only to find out they were basically unwearable. I called customer service and the representative told me to take them to an optician to have them fitted. They would pay for it if there happened to be a charge. Time got away from me and I only took them in today -- albeit a year after I purchased them -- and the optician worked on them for 30 minutes and they still do not fit correctly. I called WB customer service and the representative said the best they could do was give me $20 for a new pair. I told him that I was not willing to take a chance on a "new pair" and that they should swap out my current pair for a replacement pair. Given that you are taking an expensive bet when you buy glasses online my advice is to save your money and buy them somewhere (such as Costco) where you can try them on and the customer service is much better.
Through email exchanges, the Warby Parker folks were courteous, but when I wanted to return the WP glasses because they kept sliding down my nose, I exceeded (by a very short time!) the 30-day period for returning the glasses, and even though I never wore them, they won't allow me exchange them, so I'm stuck with glasses that I can't wear. I had also been planning to order contacts from them, but I see now how rigid they are, so I won't be doing business with them.
Tip for consumers:
Just know that if it takes more than 30 days to receive the glasses, you’ll be stuck! Buyers, beware
