The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
A total letdown at every level. Called the toll free number ans was told they could do my prescription... called the local store to verify - same story. Spent an hour in the store, ordered the glasses (and paid) and was told 2 days later that they could not fill my order. Customer service promised me a call back... still waiting. STAY AWAY from this company - go to your local peeps so you have some real service.
Like a lot of companies, when Warby Parker began they were amazing and actually wanted their customers to be happy. I get 2 pairs of glasses each year. I have seen the dramatic decline. This year 12/29/17 the customer service was so bad I thought it was a joke. I first tried to chat - rude & insulting. I then waited on hold for a "live person". WHOA! Rude! Its a new year and I am sure there is a new eyeglass startup to explore. I suggest you do that. I know I will be! Happy 2018
9.00 turns into 350.00 which doesn't include a case. I've had 5 different emails from 5 different employees. Stating everything from we can't find your order to we found your order but need more information. After sending the information I'd get another email stating can't find your order again. I should have read the reviews with a rating of 2.8. All their money is put into their great advertising and none at all in customer service. Cancelled my order and will purchase from here in town for half the price and one tenth the time. What a headache!
Splashy TV ads show people absolutely loving loving the online experience, happy faces, different pictures as you try on a pair virtually before you buy it. What they don't tell you is, their APP only works on an iphone. Really? No cross platform app for an android phone? Seriously... looks like they want me to spend 800.00 on an iPhone in order to purchase an 45.00 frame. Sometime tell their tech team, and their advertising firm to get it together.
... and they have no warranty beyond one year for $250+ progressive lenses. I won't use them again. They did offer a $50 discount on replacement of lenses and frames. Not worth taking the risk of another failure. I have had glasses from other (better quality?) sources last for 10 years.
I had an appointment at the Crown location and they turned me away for being six minutes late. I know they give you a five minute grace period, however, I doubt one minute will throw their day off. Let's hypothetically say I was seen and I had questions. Will the staff or doctor tell me to leave in the middle of my appointment because the next customer arrived? Just thought I was treated unfairly. I ended up going to a different entity and received a better deal anyway.

Ordering the try on frames was quick and easy. Actually getting my glasses not so much. Ordered them on October 9. Wrote two weeks later to ask what was the turnaround time. They said they sent an email -- no email in my inbox, spam or junk files. Today i got two different responses one saying I would have my glasses by the end of this week and another saying next week. They were fast to charge my credit card but slow to get me my product. I would not recommend this company.
The real measure of customer service is how a company handles mistakes. I ordered glasses and they came within a reasonable time but with the wrong prescription for the right eye. I mean very wrong. I was prepared for a fight since it seems like companies these days "never make mistakes" so the burden is on the customer to prove the opposite. I called the customer service number and was greeted right away with a pleasant young woman who brought on an optician, Micheal. Micheal looked at my order, compared it to my prescription and stated unequivocally that they screwed up, he knew exactly why, and that they would replace them right away. He asked for a photo with the bad pair to make sure the PD was correct so that I wouldn't have any issues with the replacements. Very professional. No arguments. No excuses. You wouldn't think that I would be happy, but the whole thing left me feeling pretty good about Warby Parker, despite the error.
Cheap Chinese goods posed as premium goods. Their lenses contain cancer causing substance in polycarbonate which is in California's proposition 65. They never bother to tell their customers. That's what I called evil!
I rate Warby Parker with five stars, not because everything worked flawlessly, but because their understanding and efficient customer service more than made up for any hiccups along the way. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect service that is competent, courteous and considerate. I loved the online shopping experience, the quality of the products, and WP's passion to give back to society. Thank you to the entire team for being respectful at all times and for ensuring that I was an important customer. Well done!
Charged $160.00 but no one can find the order. Left hand has no idea what right is doing. On line chat frustrating and have to wait for billing department to somehow find the order that apparently disappeared into the ether. Never will deal with them again!

This is it least the third or fourth time I have bought Warby Parker glasses. You would think I would learn my lesson. But the glasses are very attractive so I keep going back thinking they would get everything right this time. I bought two distinctively different frames one which was supposed to be for reading the other for driving. As best as I can tell. Both of them have the prescription for the driving glasses. I can't even come close to reading with either of them. I swear every other time I have purchased them they have gotten something wrong with the prescription. The only reason I give them a two and not a one is that they do eventually get things right and as I said the glasses are attractive
I placed my original order back in March... first order got lost in the mail. When I finally received the glasses one pair didn't fit at all, I asked to return one pair which they did - I waited another 3 weeks and received the wrong frame. I emailed customer service and they told me they would overnight me the new order... it's been 7 business days and I haven't heard anything. I'm never ordering from here again... Warby Parker is just terrible.
I purchased a pair of sunglasses online. The order was not easy to track, but they did arrive within 10 days. They look and feel nice, but the lens popped out after one week! Not impressed with the craftsmanship for $200 frames.
My in-store experience (trying on glasses and such) was great. The salesman was very helpful. Unfortunately that is where my positive experience with Warby Parker ended. I ordered two pairs of prescription eyeglasses. I received one pair about two weeks after I ordered them (within the 10 business days WP claims you will receive your glasses). However, the second pair (which according to "Track My Order", I was supposed to have received on the same day as the other pair), never arrived. I had no luck getting a response from the two "customer service" representatives I spoke with on the phone (both who had promised to send me an email later that day with information about the status of my order), nor did I receive a response to an email I sent to WP "help" center directly. If you are okay with terrible customer service, you might be okay with buying your glasses from WP.
I have zero complaints about my experience with Warby Parker. I got my try-on frames promptly. Ordered and received my glasses within 10 days. Cool. And, they fit and improved my eyesight as promised. However, after a week I noticed an itching around the tops of my ears at frame contact. Now, I am noticing a slight itch on the nose of my bridge. I am not allergic, generally. So, what the hell are the frames made from and should I be worried?
Be careful when buying from Warby Parker. Twice now I've ordered glasses from them and the amount shown on the screen does not match what they actually charge. Fortunately, both times I printed out the page before I pressed the button to order. And both times, my $95 glasses magically turned into $145 when the order confirmation e-mail came. The first time it happened, customer service was very quick to issue me a credit, so I assumed it was a fluke. Now, a few months later, it's happened again. So it's not a fluke. My guess is that part of the business model is to automatically bump people into the higher-index lenses, even if they don't need them, and hope that nobody notices. I notice. And I have both the printouts and the credits on my card statement from Warby Parker to prove it.
Not reputable.
The true test of a reputable company is how well they handle a problem. Warby Parker "retires" their frames, forcing you to purchase new frames. If there is a defect in their product that doesn't show up for a few months, too bad. They offer no warranties beyond their 30-day scratch warranty.
Such a great company with great products. I've been buying my sunglasses from them for the past 4 years or so. They stand behind their product and they dont play games. They have replaced my frames and my lenses with absolute no problem. Great customer service. Not cheap but totally worth it.
I have never had more ill-fitting glasses! The concept is great and the five pair I got at home to try on fit perfectly. But when I got my actual glasses, they never fit right. The side of the frames were too long and too wide. When I contacted someone at WP, they told me to take the glasses to an optical place for repair. I tried this twice and they still fit poorly. I finally gave up since I only wear them at night to drive and can wear my old ones. But it's Buyer Beware! You definitely get what you pay for!
First of all, they require photo of a recent, signed doctor's prescription. If you don't have one then you can't buy glasses from them. Second, they "interpret" your doctors handwriting and have no space to enter comments to confirm the writing. Third, they text you after you order to try and get you to add on stuff and the FINALLY request the pupil distance. To answer them you have to text back a photo of your debit card, strip up, under your nose. I hope nobody steals my bank information using that photo. Overall, this experience was unnecessarily tedious, uncomfortable, and I will not be using them again.
Warby Parker and Zenni Optical are my go-to for glasses now.
My experience with Warby Parker:
I bought some glasses at their store in NYC. I wanted to try something 'new' but when the prescription came in 2 weeks later, I realized they didn't feel right on my face. Felt terrible but when I talked to the salesperson at Warby Parker, she was like: "Hey! If you don't like them, let's return them and find you ones you like better." She helped me pick out better frames for my face. I picked them up 10 days later, was fitted to make sure the arms were properly adjusted, and I've been happy with their 'performance.'
The only thing I will say is that when compared to some other companies they're on the expensive side. Otherwise, totally happy with the product.
I'd buy from them again.
Ordered reading glasses with single vision lenses. No extras and no thrills. The due date came and went. Called customer service twice. First rep was very rude and hung up on me. The second one was better but didn't offer any valuable information. The attitude was… well I don't know anything and frankly don't care either. Very disappointing. Still waiting on the status.
Tip for consumers:
Still waiting for my order
It took 23 days for delivery of a single pair of glasses. My vision was poor with my old glasses, so I was in a hurry for the new ones. I live on a busy city street, but the glasses were tracked Undeliverable and returned to their lab. Many phone calls and emails later, 11 days after the promised date of delivery, I have glasses. I will not do business with Warby Parker anymore. On the plus side, it was easy to reach customer service reps who helped along the way.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use this company. Bad reviews, unbelievably poor shipping.

I have a script for progressive lenses (bifocals) and I wanted reading glasses but they sent me lasses for distance instant and then offered to I've me a $20 discount on the correct lens after the hassle. Insulting. I will be going back to the mall store instead.
Tip for consumers:
look elsewhere
