The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
My daughter asked to buy new glasses at The Domain at the Warby Parker store. I was dreading the visit because I just knew I was going to have to drop $400 for frames AND lenses and then the added cost of anti-glare and scratch resistance... ugh! We went in the store and Megan was great. She gave us the rundown on how the store is setup and then allowed us to look around on our own (which I loved). My daughter picked her frames and Megan helped us with the ordering process. Then she gave me the total, "That will be $95", my daughter said the look on my face was priceless... I could not believe how affordable these glasses were! The glasses in the store are super stylish, they have fun colors, and a great selection! I'll be telling EVERYONE about this store and I'll be heading there soon myself to pick out my own pair!
They were supposed to mail them and took weeks. Did not fit when arrived and I wondered if they were the ones I tried on in the store? Would not respond to calls or emails. Then charge me another $40 with no explanation. Will be disputing that. Don't bother with them.
They no longer allow you to PAY for new lenses when your prescription changes. You have to buy new frames... they give you a "discount"
So shady, gross and also wasteful.
I left as a customer today because they told me I can't update my two pairs of glasses.
No thanks
I purchased two pair of glasses, two days apart.
One single vision distance and one reader prescription. The second pair purchased 3-4-2020 we delivered today, 3-7-2020.
When I called to inquire about the first pair, Jenny, explained different labs work at different turn around times and the first pair bought would be delivered by 3-16-2020.
No answer as to why all orders don't go to the labs with the best customer service.
I was so pleased when my box of Warby Parker home-try-on glasses arrived earlier than the estimated delivery date. The confirmation email and the packing slip had the correct list of glasses that I had ordered and I was so excited to start trying on the different frames! However, I was extremely disappointed to find that the glasses inside were not what I had ordered. Rather than 5 different pairs, I ended up with 3 of the same pair of glasses and two others (one of which was not my original order). To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Would like to give them another shot. But I have not gotten a response from Warby Parker's "help" line or email yet.
Ordered 2 pairs. Paid extra for faster delivery, to reach me in time for a trip. Got text offering thinner lenses, for more $ of course. Said OK. DAYS later, email. They needed to run credit card for that extra $50, and had delayed the order!
Contacted them as directed. Utterly unhelpful. Acknowledged their screwup but would not in any way get me jumped forward in production to meet my original due date! Kept encouraging me to just cancel the order (and go away). That's what I had to do! Off to Lens Crafters at twice the price.
Tip for consumers:
I should have checked reviews on this company before dealing with them
I've really like being able to do the home try-ons, especially that all the frames I can try on in the store are thrice the price. I own two pairs of Warbys, and the frames were great! The lenses on the other hand are the most scratched of any other glasses I have bought. I've had my current ones since December and now they have a pretty good scratch in them that I'm not sure what put it there.
Warby does offer 1-year scratch fix (they'll replace the lenses) and It's been somewhat of an ordeal getting mine replaced (and am still waiting).
Really, apart from that, my experience with Warby Parker has been positive and impressive for me.
I can't believe all the bad reviews! I was impressed with everything about them. I did the get five frames to try on at home deal and immediately loved one particular pair. I sent them back and placed my order for them online.
My only dissatisfaction with the process was with my eye doctor not making it easy to get my prescription. Not Warby Parker's fault. But once I did, the glasses shipped fast and the way they were packaged was in a fun cartoon box and a good quality case and a fun eyeglass cloth along with info on how to take care of them. All in all very efficient and professional. I order a lot of glasses online and they are usually quite poor quality but these were reasonably priced and I can tell much better quality than other companies.
My one Year old frames cracked. Small one, but I was afraid a lense would pop out.My lenses were fine, so just wanted to replace frames. I was told they dont make them anymore and they wont adjust lenses to fit a new frame that I expected to pay for. I would have to toss them and buy all new glasses with a slight discount. Eyeglass shop in my area wont repair Warby, Parker glasses as " too flimsy".
I am going back to Costco which was a far wiser way to buy glasses.
The one-star reviews of Warby Parker all sound like they were written by disgruntled opticians.
I've worn glasses for 30 years. I got my first pair of Warby Parkers today and they are perfect. High quality, well-fitting, and great style.
Do a Google search on Neil Blumenthal and Warby Parker to understand how this company has disrupted the monoplistic, greedy eyeglass industry. Learn about how the industry has been completely dominated by one company for so long, resulting in absurd prices. Then get smart and order your next pair from Warby Parker.
Horrible customer service and uneducated ophthalmologists! Their equipment is old and not working properly, and their glasses are expensive comparing to other shops. The company only cares about money.
A crew of nice bored employees. Didn't know the glasses well, a bit ruffled when I asked about the timetable for getting the glasses back from the lab--paid for the glasses on a Saturday, not expected until midweek next at the earlier (about 10 days). Very little traffic. One employee said that the store was only about sales and didn't have anything to do with getting the glasses. Not exactly inspiring.
Tip for consumers:
Ask detailed questions about delivery dates. This store does not have a particularly sharp sales force. They're clueless.

I had a lot of hiccups ordering from Warby Parker for the first time: USPS said they were delivered to my apartment when they had not been (which made me think they were stolen from my door), my return shipping of the trial pairs was never received (again, not the most secure apartment complex), and when I did finally receive my glasses, the prescription was wrong (by fault of my doctor, not WP).
Despite each of these problems, WP customer service was extremely understanding and accommodating every time. They extended the exchange period so that I had enough time to see my doctor again for a new prescription. They waived the fees ($$$) that I would have been charged if my trials had not been returned. Each rep I talked to was really nice and helpful.
And of course, the quality of the glasses is great. The selection is so good that I had trouble deciding, which was the best part of the trial option. I'll definitely order from WP again, and I'd recommend them to all friends & family.
I decided to try 5 pairs of sunglass frames at home after my daughter had a positive experience finding new prescription glasses. I am so very disappointed. All the sunglasses that showed up in my try at home box were dirty and warped. Nothing about the frames are special or seem well made. Not at all the quality I was expecting. Definitely not worth the $95 each pair price tag. I will be returning without purchasing.
4 pairs of glasses later, I'd never use WP again for glasses. Now? Glasses USA, great prices and good selection of frames. Warby Parker got my Rx wrong 3 times, and waiting for those stupid "millennials" to try and assuage me by telling me "everything is cool". That's a "business model"? Wow. Get your glasses from a reputable nearby optician.
A bit of a wait to get the glasses in the mail but they finally came on day five. I was very excited to have these home try-on frames with the five choices I made on-line. I opened the box. The inner plastic frame holding each frame was damaged and dirty. The frames were individually wrapped in plastic bags of which 3 were obviously used before, sticky, and ripped. Each frame was filthy. Smudges on the lenses and sticky. Unbelievable. I called customer service and let them know. I am sending them back. If frames come this dirty what would the purchased product be like? I am not going to chance it.
Customer service is absolute garbage both in and out of store. Email system has no response, no receipts sent out, online chat doesn't work, and phone takes 20-40 minutes to reach someone every time who is no help. Sent my return a week ago and still no refund. Terrible service.
How do you not have black frames for any style of glasses you have? The selection is garbage the ones that I did pick, I only half assed liked, they showed up and fit like crap. I basically pulled the plug on Warby Parker at that point, don't even waste your time.
I had to try after so many people telling me how great WP is. I found the frames I loved and ordered. They arrived in a great time frame. They were definitely too big when they arrived so I contacted customer service so responded within minutes. They told me I could go into a Warby Parker where they would easily adjust the frames, or I could go anywhere else to do this and if that other place was the charge for adjustments, WP would reimburse up to $50! That itself I found wonderful. As I preferred only someone from Warby to fix them I waited until the following week where I was in Cincinnati visiting family. They have a Warby Parker, Louisville KY does not. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Very pleased with the whole experience
It is the 2nd pair of prescription glasses my husband bought. For the second time in the row, in less than one week of purchasing, the glasses fell off his face, and a car crashed it. We didn't even had enough time to go back to their store for an adjustment (which is 1 1/2 hour away from my house). The styles are cute, and the concept is great. However, glasses are not functional for working people unless you are a geek seating still in front of the computer all day without moving your head.
Do NOT waist your money!
I've worn glasses since grade school. They are a part of me and as close to me as my nose... But I've always had to spend $1000 or more for glasses that were never worth that much. Then I found Warby Parker and realized what a difference this was going to make in my life! I can get 10 pair for the price of one! They aren't top quality but if they last a year they've more then paid for themselves. They are great online, over the phone and in the store. BUT Newgistics shipping is horrible! They are going to be the downfall of Warby Parker, unfortunately. It boggles the mind why they just don't ship them directly with the postal service?
Twice - I've attempted to buy a pair of glasses, but once I place the order and send prescription, I get an email that something is wrong! First email - no Pupillary distance #. Second email - no cylinder #. Twice I ended on phone with customer rep, not a good experience: I wish they'd have more patience; I gave them a prescription that I had no idea was lacking the needed information. I ask questions, they are inpatient and get irritated.
The positive side is that to have them send out glasses for try-on is a great idea. But I'm not doing business with them again.

I ordered my prescription glasses. I then received a call that they could not fill my prescription. I decided with the associate to get the frame and have it made up locally. I only wanted this frame in blue. But apparently they were out of the blue and without saying anything to me they just sent it in tortoise. By the way I have been wearing glasses for 55 years and these were the most uncomfortable ever.
I have worn Warby Parker glasses for years. Initially the glasses were sturdy. But my last few have been flimsy. The metal attaching the arms to the frame bend very easily. Within a few weeks, the hangers were so loose that the glasses were falling off.
I have had a decent experience with customer service in the sense that they have been quick to respond and courteous. The bad part is that there is never anything they can do.
I'd avoid them.
My glasses do not fit. I have tried to reach out to customer service and they refused to assist. There store is closed due the pandemic but they didn't put any policies in place to ensure custers were satisfied with their product. I regret buying these glasses and I will never trust them again.
Warby Parker sells its own line of designer prescription glasses and sunglasses. Warby Parker is based in New York City and has retail locations in several cities including LA and San Francisco. The Warby Parker name comes from two fictional characters created by Jack Kerouac.
