I was buying mats online and called CS for advice and was guided through the process. The wrong set was sent. I returned them and was sent a second shipment. Again, the wrong mats for my truck. I paid for a second order so I could have all of the mats needed for my vehicle. I returned the incorrect shipment, along with a bump step and seat cover. My order has been in their return bin for over 10 days, I am still waiting for a refund, and they do not have the seat cover that I returned. Apparently, the customer service rep that ordered the mats incorrectly a second time neglected to note I was returning the bump step AND the seat cover from the order. Sooooo, now I am getting a refund for a floormat and a bump step, no refund for a seat cover! The customer service manager, Ross, tried assuage me and build rapport by telling me he is from the city where I reside. Like the call was for us to get to know one another. Maybe we'll have coffee next week, right? He was insistent that their customer service people are meticulous about their notes from customers. He assured me it is impossible that there was a mistake made in the return process, even though they screwed up the order prior. It is crazy to me that a company this size would charge shipping on orders over $100, but they do. The return labels they issue seem to be sent at the slowest speed possible, probably because they don't want to pay shipping. Super disappointing and a perfect example of why doing business with US companies can be so disappointing! You pay top dollar for products, you get terrible service and they move at a glacial pace. I am sure there are other companies that do custom floor mats. Do your research before you make a purchase.
All I want to do is let everyone know that once weathercrap gets your money good luck with customer service!
Contacted customer service and they don't get back to me on my concerns with the rain guards Ibought
On February 28,2022, I purchased a certified pre-owned 2018 Ford Explorer from a dealership. It came with a weathertech sunroof wind deflector and four side window deflectors. Last week, I driving at a relatively low rate of speed (25-30 mph) and the sunroof window deflector flew off without warning and landed on my head. Thank God I wasn't going any faster, wasn't on a crowded street, and didn't lose control of my truck. If that's not bad enough, I was driving on the garden state parking Friday night around 10pm going approximately 65 mph when there was suddenly a loud bang on the passenger side of my truck. I pulled over once it was safe scared that I was either hit or ran over something only to find the passenger rear window deflector broke off my window. The window defector did a nice job on my rear passenger door and rear quarter panel. I am hoping the scratches will be able to be buffed out. Once again, I am grateful I didn't lose control of the vehicle after getting startled by the sound of it hitting my truck. This is the first time I have ever owned anything weathertech related but I truly question the safety of their products. For the money thisr company charges for their products, they should consider putting some of that profit into safety compliance or else someone is going to wind up dead. Sent Customer Service an email for them to play the blame game. I emailed Weathertech yesterday and the basic response "Whenever a product comes off like that, it is usually not installed correctly or are not meant for that vehicle." which personally I think it's a crock of "sh*t". The representative then stated "If you did want to keep them on, I would advise going to the dealership you bought the vehicle from and having them verify if they are installed correctly." Interestingly enough I wrote two reviews on their website (one for the sunroof and the other for the window) and what a surprise the reviews were never posted to their page. There's only five star reviews.
My mats are not as snug and tight like I thought it would be like they are shown on TV an I didnot get a cup holder or at least some kind of trail size bottle to clean my mats for the money that you pay or at least a email on how did you like the product or 20% off your next purchase or something!
I bought a set of the ANTI FOG face shields. They are not ANTI FOG. Don't waste your money. They are also paper thin.
Horrible company,
Nasty customer rep name Timmy Vangouh, should be terminated
Nasty, horrible customer service
After 4 days they replied they cannot give any credit for the bad installation and now I've to waste 3 hours drive 45 miles waste my time money gas and toll- PATHETIC DISAPPOINTED. I bought the floor mats for my 2016 Accord long time ago and yesterday went to buy the Rain Guards. They are excellent but one thing disappointed me very much as I called in a month ago and got the quote for $109.99 for 2016 sedan 4 piece set and was told installation is $20. Then I called again on Sat and confirmed the price and was told same thing as my wife was giving me this as a gift and she heard it too and while going there I called again and confirmed and I was told I can be there at 4pm and it will be installed as Sunday they close early. When I reach at 3:50ish I was told they cannot but then the girl said as one time courtesy will do it and she wasn't friendly at all. Then I asked her about the price and discount so she said 10% discount on insurance etc from a company and for installation she said NO, it's $30 and I cannot change the price. I even told her who I spoke yo but she said no and then she couldn't print so the other gentleman was very friendly and I told him same thing it wasn't a big issue and only $10 difference and the gentleman told her how do I change the price and she said No, don't change it and he need to pay this so I was little disappointed, though overall their service is excellent but thought to share with the company. Also, I gave a suggestion to have steering wheel cover as I needed that but they don't carry.
I would say kindly do not share wrong information and when we come it's different and again it's just $10 after confirming three times but was denied
I bought a cup phone with the extender from their website. It was a (requested) Christmas present. When you order, they make a huge deal of what color knobs you want (to adjust the angle of the extender/phone holder part. You cannot use this without both - the extender attaches with it. Christmas day comes and goes and we go to install this and see only TWO knobs was in the box when there should have been THREE. (One knob is for adjusting the width of the piece that holds your phone, one knob attaches the extender to the phone holder, and the third knob attaches the extender to the cup part). We have no way to attach the extender to the cup part, and with our style console the extender is a must. So we call the company - a recording informs us there are TWENTY SIX callers in front of us. Next call, 18 callers. I get frustrated and go to their website to see what other options they have. There was an email, I wrote them, 4 days later: no response. I also posted on their Facebook wall and direct Facebook message. No Response. They brag they make stuff in the USA which is great and all, but sounds like they run their business like some sweatshop in China - at least the tendency to leave out parts and horrible customer service makes it seems that way. I weighed my time and out of pocket costs returning or ordering ala carte knobs on their site and just ordered a set of 2 knobs so we can use the stupid thing. But this is my LAST WEATHERTECH purchase ever. They suck.
UPDATE: Edit: My partner actually got hold of someone and tried to explain what was left out. They had no clue, but finally it seemed they were sending what was left out. I kept my order in since I had no faith in the person he talked to. Well both envelopes arrived a day or so apart. They sent just plastic knobs that need a BOLT to go along with them to connect the extender to the Cup. The knob is completely useless without the bolt. It would seem they would send the BOLT with the KNOB as they are both needed to connect the extender to the cup part, but no. The bolt is a separate part number. So after waiting on hold through 26 callers we had to ask for the bolt that goes with the knob. It is like pulling teeth to get this stupid product functioning. I repeat AVOID ANY WEATHERTECH PRODUCTS AT ALL COSTS. Whoever packs the items is clueless as to the contents of what should be packed and the customer service has no clue about their products at all. Even if a product was a single piece of rubber they'd likely find a way to screw that up too. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY,
After a week of working, I learned the job, the next week they had ended my assignment. I am a very fit black man that carries himself well. That was there to do a job.Racism is very big here at weather tech if you're trying to excel And the temp agencies bow down to them Black people are not welcome
Answer: Haha! Placed on hold with 165 callers ahead of me. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told I could try to call back tomorrow but they're really busy this time of year!
Answer: I have boughten a few things for Weathertech and I had a problem with a part that got broken. I called customer service and got right through and they solved my problem in just a few minutes. They were very nice and easy to deal with.
Answer: Any company is better. Mine are absolute junk. They are so cheap I'd be better off buying Walmart brand floor mats.
