I called the Fort Myers Bell Tower store March 5 and asked if they would ship merchandise to me, $462.99 precisely. A month later I still did not have, so I called them and they put a tracer on it, only to find they put an incorrect address on it. The postal service picked it up and sent it back but it was delivered to Talbots next door the WHBM. It is now July 12, I still do not have credit, and when they got the items back they never called me and asked if I still wanted the items, which of course I did.
They told me to work it out the credit with their corp. office. The corp office told me to call Am. Exp. And see if the credit was issued. I told them I can see from my statements that it wasn't. Still no resolve and out $462.99 and over 4 hours of my time to get resolved. Yet they have all the merchandise in their possession.

Terrible!
December 9, 2023

I placed an order, and they canceled it a couple of days later! No options were given whatsoever! I still need to wait if I need to dispute the charge on top of everything! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

First off I do want to say I LOVE the clothes from WHBM, they fit my figure well and there are so many mix and match options between seasons that you get a lot of different outfits out of less articles of clothing. They are great for business professional, then a few changes to belts and accessories and you can easily have a sexy after work/date outfit.

However, I will say the quality of WHBM is not always the greatest, a lot of synthetic fabric, stitching can come loose, buttons fall off after several washings BUT I also will not pay their retail costs so when I get a $90 shirt for $21 I feel it was a bargain. Sign up for their rewards card and you'll get notifications of sales and coupons in the mail. If you live by a store the clearance rack is an excellent place to 'shop' as well as online purchases - taking back to the store is a breeze. Overall I keep shopping there and I get a lot of complements on their clothes (not a big store so not wearing the same thing everyone else gets from the big box stores) - they are fashionable for those over 35 with out being to revealing but still have style to them that fits nicely into todays fashion trends.

WHBM was one of my favourite stores but lately I've been disappointed. It's not the selection of clothing or designs those are all great. The prices are a little high when full priced but they always have deals going on.

This review is about making online returns.

I purchased a couple of items in mid February this year, one being some gorgeous shoes which happened to come up half a size too big. The mistake I made was returning by mail. The nearest store is about 40 mins drive from me but I should have taken the time to go to the store.

I returned by mail two days after I received them in the mail. Now it's the end of March and I still don't have my refund and they still tell me they haven't received the item or they don't know if it's been received because it hasnt been processed yet. It's been four weeks and to be honest it's put me off ordering online for good. I've called twice only to be told it can take 4 weeks or longer to process returns. I returned some cheap shoes to an amazon company last week and as soon as ups had the shoes i hand, I had an email to say my refund was on the way. WHBM doesn't use ups! It uses the post office so what happens to the items I don't know! I hope it's not lost because those shoes cost a lot of money and I want it back! In my arms Morrisons are use the post office several times a week and my packages are reaching the destination in two days. What on earth has the post office done with this package? WHBM I used to love you but you've gone down in my estimation a lot. I didn't find the staff on the phone very helpful at all.

If you do buy online and need to return - DO IT AT THE STORE! That way you get your money back the same day. I'm so frustrated!

UPDATE!
Finally today I get a helpful customer representative who refunded my money even though she couldn't find all the relevant information. So YAY for the good people out there!

UPDATE: The company eventually credited me to the higher tier and sent some coupons ($5, $15 off, Bday coupon) to honor the tier. If you sign up for the rewards account, just make sure you keep track of your purchases to make sure you are being credited. Also it seems that if you use the coupons, depending on the amount of the coupon, your points go down, so your tier may change. I don't want to specify too much because I'm not accurate on the breakdown of points and coupons.

The company has nice clothes (there are other and better deals elsewhere online, though), but the way they set up the rewards system is a disservice to some of the customers. I am a customer that has spent at least $2,000.00 at the store and had an issue of getting credited the proper rewards (until the company eventually fixed the issue). They send the standard mail coupons like $25 off of $125 every now and then, but for customers that spent hundreds or thousands of dollars, you're supposed to have access to certain things like free shipping on all orders, free returns, various rewards. I'm not sure if there was an issue with my account previously because there may have been a change with the settings or terms on the site earlier in the year? Hopefully customers who sign up now won't have the same confusion as before.

I attached a partial listing of my orders I've made. However after the update, I'll just keep it here instead of deleting it to show some proof of purchase.
