Williams-sonoma has great quality cookware. I love their products. I am a bit addicted to this site. It is very easy to navigate to find special items for your kitchen that you didn't even know you needed.
None, I mean nome of their CSR make any sense. They reply to you with that copy and paste BS. I have proof that the item has been returned to them buy they say another 2 weeks. Absolute crooks! I will charge back my card with all the proof I have.
I have ordered twice from WS. The first shipment of cocktail glasses arrived promptly. The 2nd order processed on 4/19/21 (a set of cocktail glasses for a May anniversary gift) was paid and my delivery date was originally scheduled for May 3. Cool! NOT! My delivery date was unceremoniously delayed to September 13,2021. SEPTEMBER 2021! WTH! I called customer service to cancel my order and have a refund issued. The rep was nice, but told me she couldn't cancel my order until it shipped! WHAT?! Are you kidding me?! I was not expecting a 5-6 month wait for an item. The website said it was in stock. I am so disappointed and beyond words for the audacity of this company to think its customers will just sit around and wait 5-6 months without any recourse, refund or the products they ordered. I will no longer order anything from Williams-Sonoma. They are untrustworthy and unscrupulous. Take your money elsewhere.
Tip for consumers:
Buyer Beware. You may or may not receive the items you purchased.

I bought cocktail glasses, but have not received them. Shipping time was 1 week then turned into 6 months.
A lemon table cloth online will cost $27 additional just for shipping. This is an overcharge for shipping a small package. The store has a same brand tablecloth but oranges that sells for exact same price as online. I would think that asking them to bring the lemon tablecloth into the store for me to buy would cost me the same as the orange tablecloth but no. They would also add $27 for me to pay the shipping that they would not charge if i bought the orange one. And they WANT my business? Never again.
Imagine my surprise when one of the 4 Double-Wall Glass Tall Coffee Mugs my husband bought me three months ago came out of the dishwasher with a seal leak. W-S told me they couldn't do returns and to call Boda (and gave me an incorrect number). By the time I got response from them another had leaked a seal and, because I took the W-S person's advice to wash by hand, another has shattered. Apparently neither W-S or Boda will replace these...only buy them if you want to own broken glasses soon!
I returned an appliance to Williams-Sonoma. I followed their return policy and promptly shipped it.
They received the appliance on July 3rd. After no action and no refund, I called them and I was promised "prompt resolution".
As of today, July 21, they still have yet to update the return to note that the item was received, let alone refund what I paid for it.
Ref Order # **************.
It is very unlikely that I will do business with WS again.
I bought a Laguna couch made by William Sonoma. The couch was in my home and a short term renter during the pandemic broke the couch. When I had a repairman come to fix it he showed me the couch was NOT kiln dried hardwood as the Williams Sonoma site claims, but plywood. Also there are no corner braces. WS has already paid a $1 million fine to the FCC for deceptive practices claiming furniture was made in the US when it was made China.

Don't buy their couches. Instead find a used couch made from the 60s and reupholster it. It's a better choice from a quality standpoint.

I used to love this company. I don't know what's going on. They advertise items that they do not have on stock. They charge your credit card then you can wait till he'll freezes over and then find out they cancelled the order. Tried ordering Staub pots on several occasions only to be bitterly disappointed that they do not have the items in stock.
I received a Vitamix from Williams Sonoma that I never ordered. I returned it immediately. They are still charging me for this product. After spending numerous hours on the phone, e-mailing and working with both Williams Sonoma and my credit card company, I still do not have resolution.
Bottom line - I no longer have the product and they have my money. Sounds like FRAUD to me.
I am extremely dissatisfied with Williams Sonoma: I ordered a bread marker in April and continued to receive notices it would not be available until June, then recently mid-August. I found the bread maker finally in a local store, cancelled my order with Williams Sonoma, and low and behold, suddenly the bread maker which was at least 8 weeks from being available was shipped. I will never purchase from them again. As a chef, with a chef's kitchen of Shun knives and La Creuset, I'm writing off Williams Sonoma permanently. I will take this up as well with my credit card company to dispute the charges of an item that could not be shipped for approximately 16 weeks, that suddenly was available when my orde3r was cancelled.
Took 8 months to get a refund on my return.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced.
The item I returned as ordered in December 2021. I finally received it May 2021. Broken. Wouldn't even turn on. Immediately returned it and have made dozens of phone calls trying to get my refund. Customer service the worst from any store ever.
Tip for consumers:
The shipping took 5 + months. Arrived broken. Refund took another 3 months after dozens of 2hour phone called. The hold is always 1+ hours

Our organizations have spent a significant budget purchasing products from Willams Sonoma. A Williams Sonoma branded product, a high-end Pizza Pan began rusting after a year and a half of service. We paid a premium price for this pan with a promise of quality. When we brought the defect to the attention of Williams Sonoma, we were offered the opportunity to spend more money to purchase more inferior products as a resolution. We are sad that a company we had hoped would understood the Customer Experience would strive. Unfortunately, they have lost the meaning of the customer experience and will surely see their self-imposed demise. Our organizations are no longer customers of Williams Somoma.
Tip for consumers:
Beware of Williams Sonoma branded products. Our experience is that they are inferior and not backed by the brand name.
My mom placed and order In June. It was going to be delivered in July, then it went to December when my wife called it was changed to October and now it's back to December. They refused to cancel the order. The $50 gift card was a waste of money.
Ordered 3 pizzas on feb 8th to be shipped to Arlington, Tx. I was very careful of making this clear. They sent them to me instead. When I called to clear this up the lady had a chip on her shoulder. After TRYING to communicate with the lady she hung up on me. The purchase was $172 and want a refund and or shipped to correct address.
I placed an order in May 1 for a Mother's Day gift. It WON'T TELL YOU the estimated delivery date until AFTER you pay. I figured I placed the order in enough time to arrive on Mother's Day, but it won't arrive until May 10, which does me no good whatsoever. I called their annoying customer service where it takes you 20 minutes to reach a human being, and this woman tells me that they can't cancel the order even though it hasn't even been packaged yet.
Screw this company. I am never doing business with them again. Their products suck and so does the company.
Tip for consumers:
Never order from Williams Sonoma. They suck $#*!.

I purchased nearly $600 worth of WS Thermo-Clad cookware in January 2019. There was an offer online for a free 3-qt sauteuse pan with $200 or more purchase of the Thermo-Clad cookware. I submitted the form, along with a copy of my receipts. I took screenshots of the form I submitted, as well as a screenshot of their free offer. After numerous phone calls and emails about where my free pan was, I now get an email from CS (7 months later) telling me that I did not qualify because I did not purchase my pans online and it was not over $200, which obviously it was. One day I purchased $105+ and went back the following day and bought over $466 more. I sent both receipts to them. The offer did not say a word about it having to be an online purchase and that it couldn't be sale items. With the amount of money it costs for the WS products, I expected a lot more from customer service. I am extremely disappointed and will not be purchasing from them again, as much as I like their cookware.
When friends and family stay with us, they often send a thank you gift from WS. Getting the gift and returning it are a pain, I believe intentionally so. First, they offer gift-givers the option to have the store available for pick-up at the store and avoid delivery costs. This is just a way to try to get the gift-receiver into the store with hope they will make additional, overpriced purchases. Second, if you want to return a gift, which I do for ridiculously priced small appliances, the on-line default gift return gives back the money to the gift giver. Yep! I had to call to get a store credit. Their customer service people don't have a clue of how their own system works. My latest is an item that I returned weeks ago, but still have not received the "e-credit" that was promised when I delivered the return item to UPS. DON'T BUY GIFTS AT WILLIAMS-SONOMA.
Ordered my Le Creuset dutch oven from them in Dec 3rd that way I wouldn't have to worry about the gift arriving in time for Christmas. Thought I was being smart by ordering early... silly me I didn't know this awful company advertises products in stock when they are absolutely not available. It's now past New Years and the delivery date has changed three times now with an expected delivery date of Jan 23rd-25th. Almost two months later with no guarantees I will actually receive it by then. I hate them, I will never recommend and will never buy from them again!
Several days before Christmas I ordered Croissants and Jams to be shipped to my sister-- a surprise Christmas breakfast, in fact. The website indicated they would be received by Dec. 24th. My sister called me on the 28th to tell me they received my gift. I'm not grousing about that. Stuff happens. What I didn't know was that she received an incomplete shipment. One jar of jam arrived at her house the first week in January and a second on January 28th. What the f@*k! No apologies. No explanations. The only reason I discovered this is that she called to see if I had signed her for some kind of "jam of the month" club or whatever.
I was a good idea: croissants and jams arriving together, as a package, suggesting a warm family breakfast. Now I feel like a fool.
I placed two orders with William Sonoma (WS) on 8/25. I purchased items by the same vendor (SMEG) on Amazon. Amazon delivered four items within 5 days. WS email receipt stated the items would not be delivered until 9/27. I have use for the items now. I have spent two weeks attempting to cancel the order. I have received a run-around. WS customer service line says they must be cancelled with the vendor, via 'another' internal division of WS. WS's customer service reps are only able to send electronic email to the 'internal' WS division and are unable to contact the vendor directly to cancel. After two weeks and several calls, the items are not cancelled, there has been no response from WS's internal division, the items have not shipped and WS will not provide me with a number for either their internal division handling this, or the vendor (SMEG). If this is the service you want use WS. Buy from Amazon - they back up their products and provide great service.
I received Xmas gifts and returned them …I don't shop their anymore because of a luggage zipper issue…so they offered store credit or put it on original payment…guess I won't get a Xmas present then…don't waste your time shopping there
Tip for consumers:
Don’t shop at Williams and Sonoma

All of Williams Sonoma stores share the same tactics regarding their dishonest sales. You find an item, put it in your cart, purchase it. The site shows the approximate date of delivery and then an email is sent to you and…. Lo and behold the item is "backordered". The date of delivery keeps changing until you actually believe it will never be sent. You can cancel of course since it hasn't been shipped and you have nit been charged. But what a ridiculous waste of everyone's time and effort. All of their stores…. SAME.
Update: the item I ordered was to come in on Dec 22 and be shipped. It did not. Instead, six days later I received a charge on my credit card. I called the company. According to the rep the item is to come in this evening or tomorrow and then be shipped. This is never supposed to happen. Items are never to be charged prior to shipping. She couldn't even guarantee that the item would be shipped by tomorrow.
Ordered a mixer on the Black Friday sale. My confirmation said it would arrive after Christmas on 12-26. No warning on the site at the time of ordering that the mixer was actually out of stock. Fine - I'll live with that. Around 12-26, I got another email saying the mixer wouldn't come until early Jan. Well, ok. Early Jan., got an email that said mid-Feb. Hummm. Their site doesn't have any email or chat option. The email from them doesn't accept responses. Your only option is to call (hey, welcome to 2023). The lady I spoke to said there's no ETA due to back order with the manufacturer. Several days later, I got an email saying the color I ordered was discontinued and my order cancelled. I called again to change my order to another color and was told that I could not get the sale price at which I originally ordered. No need to shop here!
I ordered a duvet with two pillows total, and I got only one pillow. The item heading on the website said "duvet and pillow." I asked via chat whether it came with one or two pillows, and they replied that it came with one pillow. So I ordered one extra pillow because I wanted two altogether. When it arrived there was just one duvet and one pillow. I called and they said that the duvet did not come with a pillow. They basically wouldn't believe me that the chat said we'd be getting a pillow with it for that price, and they wouldn't send another pillow.
Item was refused by delivery service because packaged poor and leaking. Had to call muktipkt calls for them to send the replacement item. Lied and said it reshipoed oed when it didnt, supervisor refused to get on the line. Gave me half my $8 shipping back, whoopee when it will be a month to receive.
I was told that the order was not paid for until the 5th and that it shipped on the 6th? LSO does not have the product. W&S stated that it could take to 7 days to "ship" the product to LSO. Really, how could I possibly receive the product On Monday February 8th if it takes 7 days to get the product to your shipper? What a FRAUD! If it takes 7 days just to get the order to the shipper and then shipment time from LSO to me. It could be another 10 days before I ever see the product.

Placed an order at beginning of Jan and thinking of gifts to my family and friends for the Chinese New year. Two weeks later found out that the estimated delivery date were going to be March, so I called to cancel the order. 12 hours later, I received a shipping confirmation states the order has been shipped. So I rushed to call the customer service again to confirm my refund process. Then I had to wait almost a hour on the phone for the customer service representative to contact the carrier to cancel the shipment. Then 3 days later, I received partial of the order in front of my house. Then I had to call the customer service 3rd time asking about my refund. Then the 3rd customer service representative told me only if the sender receive the order then my refund would be able to process... Waisted all my time with the customer service and I have not even received my refund. Horrible customer service..
Tip for consumers:
don't place a order in William Sonoma. Once you ordered, they don't provide nothing customer service!!!
