It's been a week now since transfer was made and I haven't received the money. I have been using this service for 8 years and then something changed, they rejected a txn that I've been doing for several years and closed my acct without explanation - wasting a lot of time and costing me $$ in card txn fees.

The worst transfer company I have ever dealt with. They require additional documentation ad infinitum, once you send one proof document they require another and another and it goes on and on. Proof of funds, id documents, proof of relationship to receiver, further proof of funds, proof of what the funds are for, proof of your employment status, proof of salary, on and on the request go.
Avoid at all costs, the money will never be sent in a timely manner, and you will have to provide proof documentation for everything you cannot even believe they need.

I sent money and I immediately recieved confirmation that all recieved and will be processed. A day later I recieved a message that I need to update my details, I immediately updated my details. A day later that is day two, I was told the local partner has recieved the funds and is processing it. Up to now I see still processing. On day three, I decide to call World remit, I am on the waiting caller list for 2 hours now but still no sign that someone will pick my call. I decide to check on the transaction again it says it has failed please contact us. there is no other way to contact them besides calling. I have been cheated and robbed by world remit because I can't ask for a refund as that option is not available on my transaction anymore. Is there a way I can recieve my money back? I am so disappointed!
I lodged a complaint asking for a refund because world remit sent me an email that stated that I will not be charged any fees for my first ever transfer with a code XMAS18. The thieveing company still took the fees despite the email to me telling me I will not be charged any fees. To add insult to injury, the thieving liars sent me a survey as a way of responding to my complaint. What a joke. I have attached a screenshot of the email which they cannot deny. I also lodged my complaint by replying to the email.
So I sent money, how they said they couldn't deliver it. So, I said they can just refund it. Instead, they stole it. 2 months has gone by and they have not responded to my 6 emails. I assume this operation is a scam and they steal money.

I made a transaction on Sept 26. And was told there was a technical problem with transferring money from Metrobank to Landbank. Then a day after that, i was told there was a problem with the account details of the recipient. I sent them a copy of the recipient account and World Remit confirmed with me that it is correct. Lo and behold, 3 weeks after, the money is still not received by the recipient.
I got fed up. So I warned them to give back my money within 48 hours or I will report them to Competition Bureau Canada and Canadian Anti Fraud Centre, among other else. They do not deserve leniency. They have no credibility. Dont get scammed by World Remit.
I transferred funds to a recipient. Worldremit wanted my personal info and that included my Australian medicate card details. I wasn't comfortable with this. Felt like phishing. Once the transfer was completed I received an email from them saying as my bank account wasn't a personal account but a business account they can't accept it but that was AFTER! They took my funds.
Not only did Worldremit not send my money or make it possible to contact them, they failed to refund it! Hieves.
I sent $600 overseas to a company that I do business with. Although I have done numerous international wire transfers without problems, it was my 1st trime with World Remit. The recepient never received the money and has sent numerous copies of his statement I have called World Remit everyday for the past month. THey only tell me they are investigating and keep asking for another statement. They have the worst customer service and now I have lost $600 and it is doubtful I will ever get it back.
Worldremit are biggest jokers they promise next day delivery but they don't. Make their customers wait over a week to get £26 I'm not impressed worldremit will take my business else where
I sent funds during the CoV pandemic to several Filipino friends, as I travel often. WorldRemit improperly processed one as a cash advance rather than a purchase, so I called customer support. The CSR suggested emailing customer service and that the email would be properly routed, so I did. I received no response until a week later, when I received this gem:
"Dear Jeremy,
After a review of your account and transaction history, it has been determined that your account does not pass WorldRemit security checks. Due to these circumstances, your account is now permanently disabled, and you will no longer be able to transact through WorldRemit systems.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Should you have any questions regarding this email, please contact our Customer Service Team with WorldRemit through the phone number listed on our website (*******771).

I've sent money with world remit before with no problem this time they Closed my account but yet took my money and I was sending to same person I sent it to before not sure why they closed my account but im pi**ed they took my money
I was deeply impressed with the speed, accuracy, and low cost of this service. I travel a lot and have always struggled with how to give people I meet in other countries funds for things after I have left the country. I have now found the service I plan to use and I highly recommend them to others. If you sign up for the first time, please use the reference code: ROBERTG1329 and you and I both should receive $20 after you send a total of $100 through their system. But, even if you don't use the code, I highly recommend the service!
If there would have been an option for rating zero, i would have done that. I have constantly calling to get my account unlocked to send urgent money to india but no one was helpfull enough. I was asked to provide repeated documents again and again.
Poor customer service procided and i was hunged up on several times.
I keep waiting for my refund, they still do not refund my money. One month passed. Now I am waiting for the ARN number through which I can track the refund.
I am surprised they do not have the ARN number on their hand. They have to collect this from their financial team.
I kind of believe they are cimmitting fraud here.
I tried to send money and went through all the protocols. After 48hrs with no action I contacted them and the person refused to tell me their name and asked me many inappropriate questions. I asked for a supervisor and they refused. They then blocked my account. What a nightmare! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Customer service is one of the worst. I've spoken to them at least 5 times and 90% of the time they were so rude and either untrained or not very happy with their jobs that they can can just tell you to take a hike without any consideration. Remittance has a cap and they don't tell you how much. Customer service officer says it varies from time to time but they don't know exactly when it changes. Money does NOT arrive at the time they promised and each person you talk to gives you a different reason why--basically you need to verify stuff and although they keep telling you its only on the first transaction they will repeat this every transaction which will drive you insane. Worst is they ask you very specific questions that has never been asked by anybody in the business (not even your own bank) which makes you think whether the information their asking will be used for unscrupulous transactions. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. If I can click NO star I will.
