I tried sending money via worldremit on Sunday for a purchase and I followed all the instructions. Everything was good until I received an email stating that my transfer was canceled and my account disabled. I called my bank right away and they told me i had to wait since the transaction was still pending and it was the weekend. I decided to call Worldremit and I was on hold for less than 2 minutes. I spoke with Roxanne who assured me that my transfer was voided/canceled. Today is Tuesday and my pending transaction is no longer on my bank statement. After reading all the reviews, am just glad I got my money back.
Can u improve your app to have a specific line for MIDDLE NAME? I have used your app 3 times and 3 times I have to double send the money just because theres no middle name. Then you cannot amend the transaction so now I get double charged on my credit card. Why other apps like Remitly and Iremit can make this an easy transaction while you always make it a huge hassle for me considering you are charging me $11++ everytime for this kind of service? I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing this kind of problem from you. Its not a complicated fix that you cannot manage and I hope u do it asap because you will be losing a lot of customers!

The first transfer to an African country went alright(ISH). I had to upload pictures of my ID etc. Then, after a week or so, I started the next transfer and was asked to upload my ID again. So I did. Then at the third transfer, again I was prompted for my ID. I cancelled the procedure. At the next log in a free weeks later it wouldn't accept my password which I had thoroughly noted down. Always wrong, so I clicked on "new password", got the link clicked it, entered new PW. Log in "wrong PW". Now I pray every night that their bankruptcy may come very soon. I don't want to waste my time an health on websites like this one.
Was with them for years and then my account was hacked from their website. Went back and forth for days trying to get money back and finally get everything resolved. They take no responsibilities of anything and their customer service was awful. Try to trust them again and after a few months, I could not get into my account. When I called them, and waited 20 minutes for a service representative, they told me that my account was not usable because I did not meet the requirements as a customer. I! I did not meet the requirements of a customer! Really? Use ANYBODY else but them!
Customer services are very poor, my WorldRemit account was not working for two weeks now. And when I try to log in they tell me wrong password and I've tried many times to reset my password it says "something went wrong try again later" and they tell me to go to faq something and when I go there it doesn't help me. And when I call the customer service number I can't get any help because they refer me to the faq page that wont help.
I hope they will reply to me here.

They are rude and condescending over the phone and hang up on you when you call them out on it and ask for professionalism! 6 days waiting and its supposed to be 1 day According to their advertising. Another 2 to 6 days to refund.
2 days ago i am send money for family but they are not received money. I am calling 2 time for call center but they tell me for security reasons no send money with in 1 hours they send money but now. More than 40 hours don't send money also not send back me. Its fraud company

World remit took my money 233 euros from my account after that i got an error at their website. And they are now claiming they have never recieved my money. They are non cooperating and i will take further legal actions now to this company.

I tried to register with them to send money to one of my contractors in Kenia who for some reason had no access to PayPal. They wasted my time and closed my account for absolutely no reason, telling me I didn't meet their mysterious "criteria". Hillarious)))) How do they even exist?
No explanations are given whatsoever! Don't even bother calling their support.
My remittance has been pending for over a week. I have followed up numerous times with customer service and they indicate that the delay is with their "local partners" who apparently do not respond to their urgent request for an update. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They cannot provide with a time frame for the completion of the transfer and have no regard for family emergencies. If you cancel the transaction you will be waiting for the money for another 2-4 weeks. Just awful service.
At first they are fine but this year they are getting worst and worst. Everytime this year when i send money to my family in Philippines they always got back home for nothing cause they said the sender is question mark. I sent £100 using the WorldRemit App. The money was not received in the recipient's account and WorldRemit are unable to trace the money. I have been on the phone to them several times and even emailed recipients bank statement to show that money was not received, I am still waiting for this to be resolved, the money seems to have vanished and untraceable.
I attempted to send money to my wife in the Philippines using my debit card using World Remit. World Remit sent me an e-mail saying that the transaction had been refused and the account disabled. They also debited my bank account.
When I inquired as to why they refused the transaction they replied that they would not tell me, but we're going to submit my account for review. Which I did not ask them to do.
Now I get an email from them saying my account has been reenabled. But said nothing about the money they took.
Meanwhile they still have my money. What they are doing should be criminal.
This company authorized $3000 on my bank account (which they recommend you use) - money which I had to urgently send to my elderly parents for emergency surgery. Then, they did NOT send the money, CLOSED my account, refused to explain why, and then failed to take the required steps (as stated by my bank) to release the hold on my money! As a result, I had to take a cash advance on my credit card in order to send the money because the funds were unavailable for 7 days! Their representatives are incompetent and unhelpful. They refuse to provide any information about how they work, what they require from their account holders. As I understand, they don't have any vetting process to ensure that accounts are legitimate because that would entail costs on their part, and they then take the easy way out and close any accounts that they don't like for any random reason. STAY AWAY unless you want to experiment with a terrible company and lend your money to them for free.
WorldRemit Rwanda operates like a bogus money transfer agent. There are no clear contact details. The phone number provided doesn't work. Response to queries using alternative contact services is super slow. Money remitted over 7days ago hasnt reached the recipients. Its a shabby operation that should be closed. I still await resolution on my remittance from 5April as are some colleagues who used this same service a week ago! It seems I have been scammed. Where should I report this?
Several times in the past month the service has been down both World Remit and its affiliates so the claim. Twice in less than two weeks they claimed affiliates in the philippines are down for technical issues.
Now, June 30,2023 I sent a small amount which has been tide up now 5 days. I support children in the Philippines from basic to critical care and need. During this 5 day period I have been on the phone for hours trying to resolve what they and no one else can. Horrible and total S.t operation.
Today I try to sign in and my account has been blocked. Hence I am on hold again.

Sent money, with a promise of minute delivery, now it´s two days, cash has not been received. Customer service is HORRIBLE, NON EXISTENT. The indication is 5 minute waiting time, turns out to 30min to 60 minute waits, or hang ups! Deliver the cash or refund it! Need to pay for my parents medical bills urgently!
Answer: Have they refund your money? Am still waiting for my money to be refund since two weeks now.
