After the sale I had to contact Worthy two times as to where our money was. Although you are told it would take 10 to 15 days, our money took a bit longer. We bank with an international bank not a local institution so the length of time was unnecessary.
I sent in a ring and a necklace to sell. They had me take a picture of the ring and send it to them. In none of the communications did it say that the items had to meet their criteria to sell them. I mailed the items the next day and the day after that, I got an email stating that my items are not the kind of items that they want to sell. They had not even seen the necklace yet. The items arrived at their location and the next day they sent me another email stating that there was not enough demand in their marketplace to sell my items. They wanted to return them to a staffed fed ex location two hours away from me. Went thru all the rigamarole to get my items sent back to my home address. Would not recommend them unless you have very high-end jewelry. Apparently, that is all they are looking for. They should screen items better to save people time of sending their items in.
I highly recommend using Worthy to sell your jewelry! They will send you a complimentary mailing package in order for you to mail your jewelry off to New York to be graded and have the pictures taken. They will then keep you updated on every step of the process via email and text message. Once your jewelry is ready it will be put up for auction for 48 hours and you can watch the bid price on your jewelry for the full 48 hours. If your preferred price was met or it was exceeded your jewelry will be sold, and if it's not you get to choose whether to sell for the highest bid or get your jewelry back. I sold my engagement and wedding band and I got way more than I hoped to get! Worthy will take a percentage of the highest bid price as a service fee. Mine was 14% Worthy will then call and confirm payment process and information and the money was in my account less than 5 days after it was sold. I'm very happy with the service Worthy provided!
I had a great experience with the Worthy company. From the moment that reach out and started the process to receiving my money for my ring set everyone was professional. Each step of the way someone would make you aware of what was going on with your jewelry and where it was going also. Asked for permission to do things with it also. Can not say enough about the company. Very easy process.

I was leery of this process but at the same time felt that the ring was no good to me anymore so I might as well make a profit off of it. I didn't get as much as I would have liked for it about $400-$900 less than expected and that was with what I thought was low expectations but must say process was very easy. I spoke with and texted several times with someone from the company before making the decision because it scared me to send my ring in the mail. I never was told and I guess didn't think to ask or read that 22% off of what you sell ring for is taken for process and sale of ring. This is something that I believe should be a little clearer. All in all it was a positive experience. Ring cost $5000 made $1123. The ring was 13 years old.

I scheduled a call to go over selling jewelry and 5 mins before call time, it was cancelled by them with no reasoning and no rescheduled time. I went on website to account to see if any notes were there and it deleted all my jewelry I took pictures of and it was like I never did anything on there website.

It was difficult deciding to sell my diamond ring; it was my great grandmother's engagement ring. While the company seems good often the right hand has no clue what the left hand is doing. The upload tool is woefully inadequate. I have submitted 4 different high end gemstones that I was told Worthy would accept. None of the submissions were accepted, wasting my time. Your mileage may vary.

I had no idea how to sell my recently-inherited mother's jewelry. My wife doesn't wear jewelry and our kids are boys. Do I go to a pawnshop? That didn't seem like the right option. I wish I could have gotten a little more for the rings, but in the end, I have more money in my pocket versus the rings just sitting in a jewelry box.
