After the sale I had to contact Worthy two times as to where our money was. Although you are told it would take 10 to 15 days, our money took a bit longer. We bank with an international bank not a local institution so the length of time was unnecessary.
I sent in a ring and a necklace to sell. They had me take a picture of the ring and send it to them. In none of the communications did it say that the items had to meet their criteria to sell them. I mailed the items the next day and the day after that, I got an email stating that my items are not the kind of items that they want to sell. They had not even seen the necklace yet. The items arrived at their location and the next day they sent me another email stating that there was not enough demand in their marketplace to sell my items. They wanted to return them to a staffed fed ex location two hours away from me. Went thru all the rigamarole to get my items sent back to my home address. Would not recommend them unless you have very high-end jewelry. Apparently, that is all they are looking for. They should screen items better to save people time of sending their items in.
These folks hounded me to get my engagement ring shipped to them, only to offer me a very small fraction of the value. Complete waste of time and then they shipped the ring back to the wrong address, so now I am left trying to track down my ring. Very disappointed in the level of service. Do not waste your time.

Checking every day, massage saying they are having a problem check back later… It has now been 4 weeks. I have left messages and have tried to contact anyone, still nothing. Dissatisfied and disappointed

I have had trouble in the past getting my ring to sell, whether it be through eBay or from a pawn shop but Worthy took care of everything for me. Not only did they take professional pictures, but Abbey Merchant made the auction process incredibly smooth and worked with me directly throughout the entire process. Worst experience ever. Been selling jewelry for 20 years on eBay. They took my jewelry. Lack of communication took several weeks to even get an auction going. There were platform software issues so I couldn't change reserve prices. I tried on their mobile app I tried on my computer. I tried several different browsers. I called their tech-support they seem to care less. Their fees are super high. They claimed it was a 10 day process. It took over three months. Then they lost two of my pieces for over a month, it took them to return it to me and I live two states away. Pretty much felt like it was a scam. Two of my high price items I was offered pennies on the value. Their professionalism lacked their customer service lacked their communication lacked their software platform, lacked the prices. They offered lacked long story. Short sellers beware and stay away!

Worthy's estimate of my ring was 7 times what they ended up selling it for. Then they offered me a $25 gift card for my trouble It's a scam. They didn't reply to my communications about my being unhappy for weeks, even after more than one prompt. I'm very unhappy with this company and have read many reviews written by people who had the same experience I did.

I'm very impressed with the customer service promptness and happy I had a dedicated person (Rachel) on my jewelry that knew me and guided me through all steps. Having her showed consistency from Worthy and she always returned to my questions quickly. The FedEx insured package made me feel more comfortable sending my engagement ring and within the same week the cleaning, pictures, GIA report update, and the auction were fully completed. Payment took a couple extra days because I didn't confirm payment quickly, but otherwise it would have all been done in a week. Tried to get me to sell my $3500 engagement ring to them for $365! Not to mention there is a 18% fee on top of this so I would only get $299 total! That's not even 8% value yet they said 298 were "interested" in it….stay away!

In reference to your concern with our Seller Success Fee, we do charge a flat fee, respective to the final sale amount, however this is only charged when an item successfully sells. If the auction is not successful, the services we provided including the fully insured shipment to and from our office are 100% complimentary.
As a reminder, the other services we provided to you included professional cleaning, photography, and independent third-party grading at the GIA for your jewelry. We only succeed when you do which is why we're motivated to set your auction up for success to the over 1,000 professional buyers that make up our buyer network.
It is important to note there is a notable difference between the original retail price of jewelry and the amount you may receive in a resale market. Would not recommend they say you are insured but when your item arrives with an empty box you get nothing but the loss of your jewelry and a broken heart. This has happened to others according to their Better Business Bureau ratings since May. Do not send anything to this company.

In an effort to be completely transparent with you, we without hesitation shared both the surveillance footage of your package being opened and photos of the packaging once opened.
As explained to you directly, we did not observe any signs of tampering before or after opening the package. When we submitted a claim with FedEx, they were unable to confirm the package had been tampered with as well.
