After the sale I had to contact Worthy two times as to where our money was. Although you are told it would take 10 to 15 days, our money took a bit longer. We bank with an international bank not a local institution so the length of time was unnecessary.
I sent in a ring and a necklace to sell. They had me take a picture of the ring and send it to them. In none of the communications did it say that the items had to meet their criteria to sell them. I mailed the items the next day and the day after that, I got an email stating that my items are not the kind of items that they want to sell. They had not even seen the necklace yet. The items arrived at their location and the next day they sent me another email stating that there was not enough demand in their marketplace to sell my items. They wanted to return them to a staffed fed ex location two hours away from me. Went thru all the rigamarole to get my items sent back to my home address. Would not recommend them unless you have very high-end jewelry. Apparently, that is all they are looking for. They should screen items better to save people time of sending their items in.
I shipped out my ring on Monday, and by Friday my ring had been cleaned, photographed, graded, and put up for auction. I received an email/text along every step of the way. I ring sold for above my reserve price, and the money was deposited in my account two days later. It was a very pleasant experience!
The process with Worthy was the easiest thing ever. Filled out the information I knew about ring, sent a picture, approved it for auction and away it went to FedEx! I received emails along the entire process. Not a single bid on my ring until the final day, then sold for $300 more than reserve! Money received 2 days after Auction end. I was told my 1.25ct. Champagne and white diamond ring wouldn't do well at auction. Complete waste of my time. They basically told me my ring is worthless when it's probably worth a lot of money. Please don't bother selling to them because they will waste your time. Goodbye worthy I'll go elsewhere.

When we received your ring, we discovered it was comprised of smaller diamonds instead of having one larger center diamond stone. Unfortunately rings with a collection of smaller diamonds do not hold the same value as rings with at least one larger diamond stone. I sent my ring to them 1 week after having it appraised. The appraisal came in at $5100, and although I know appraisal are for insurance purposes for the cost to replace the ring, and I also know that resale value is lower, but they offered the starting bid to be $358. This is a rose gold triple banded ring with over 14 small diamonds and a 1.1 caret center diamond. I requested my ring be returned. They said it would be 7-10 business days. It is now 12 business days and it has not even left their warehouse. I've called multiple days in a row and they keep making excuses. I fear I'll never get it back.

While I wish I could have gotten more money for the wedding set, I still got more than their recommended amount.
I worked for several years in the high end jewelry business and I know the retail markup is huge! So my suggestion to anyone selling jewelry to remember that you're not going to get anywhere near retail value. If you keep your expectations under control, you will have a great experience and may even get more than you expected.
