After the sale I had to contact Worthy two times as to where our money was. Although you are told it would take 10 to 15 days, our money took a bit longer. We bank with an international bank not a local institution so the length of time was unnecessary.

It was really hard to put a diamond ring in a shipping envelope. I had visions of dropping it in a mailbox but a courier picked it up. Worthy was in touch immediately when it was picked up. I got emails every step of the way from receipt, pictures, valuation to bidding. They were letting me know the next step before I could even wonder what was next. I had two Cartier Panther watches. I never used them. They just sat in my jewelry box. I tried to sell them at several jewelry stores, but the offers were very low, so I decided to keep them. I saw an ad for Worthy and signed up. After answering some questions I agreed to send them the watches for appraisal. I received an estimate on their worth and agreed to auction in hopes that I would receive bids higher than their appraisal (which was higher than other jewelry stores offered). In less than two weeks I had many bids on both watches and sold them both for more than I expected. Worthy sent me a check shortly after. I am very pleased with this company. They did what they promised.

Christine and Kurtis were helpful from the start and very agreeable when I wouldn't accept the 1st offer. The 2nd time around, we made double. Makenzie got in touch with me the very day I had planned to contact Worthy myself out of concern for how late the payment was. She wrote to apologize about the delay and was going to make sure she discovered the issue. Worthy states is the amount of time one should expect to receive the result of the auction is 5-7 days. My item was sold on the 2nd yet the check wasn't deposited until the 19th.
It's not that I was desperate for the $, I feared something went horribly wrong.
Again, however, they made the process simple.

I am recently divorced and didn't know how to sell my wedding ring. I took it to several local "buyers" but was hugely disappointed with what I was offered.
I found Worthy and decided to give it a try. The process is very easy and streamlined. They communicated with me throughout the process. I had been seeing the ad for awhile for Worthy's, but was skeptical of all ads, but finally decided to call and spoke to Abbey and after she answered all my questions, some probably stupid, I decided to take a chance. Followed all instructions given me, packaged my rings and sent them in. Answer: Yes, Worthy photographs your item and gets it appraised. Worthy will suggest a reserve price. You can set your own, though, like I did. Had my ring not reached the reserve, I would have had the option of accepting the sale or having my ring returned. I set my reserve price 5% over what they suggested and I received double what I set as my reserve. Something to note is since my ring had a flurry of attention on the last day, Worthy extended my auction time enabling me to receive more bids. My ring sold last night and I had an email this morning saying my deposit was made to my account. I will use them again and recommend them to my family.

Answer: I was offered a quick sale and it was less than what I had anticipated my minimum bid price would be. I was told my check was sent out. Hoping to receive the check any day now, All in all, the process was not everything I had hoped for... I received one phone call on a sunday with the quick sale offer and some basic info on the appraisal. If you created an on-line account and communicated via email then you at least have some paper trial of what has happened. I went in person and delivered a ring so all communication was via phone once I left the building.
