Mike Technician 7092 was the most knowledgeable, professional, efficient, personal, technician we have ever had to our house, and we have had quite a few. He took his time to figure out what was going on, went above and beyond what any other tech has ever done for us. He is definitely a asset to WowWay, and should be training technicians. Thank you Mike we have had so many negative experiences with Wow and you changed our opinion. Great Experience.
I scheduled someone to come out and re-hook-up my internet atleast 15 times and no one came. They sent tech that was unable to re-hook-up my internet. Tech stated that they would send someone that day. It has been 3 weeks and, when I called, they Said it would be another 8 days. Their phone calls are answered in the Philippines! There is no communication and they lie when they tell you they are coming Stay away from this company. I would pay double just to have someone else. But I live in condo and the President signed a 2 year contract! They suck!

I can't get support, they put you in line but don't get to you even near the time they say. All problems can't be solved on live chat.
They came out and changed our line and modem on Friday... Called them on Sunday to tell them the internet went out again and now they want us to wait until Wednesday for a technician to come back out/I work from home and I'd be losing $400 a day because of that... Wow is the worst f****** company to deal with!
WOW! Has left a live wire draped across a walkway at my home for over 9 weeks and counting. This is a serious safety hazard. They came out within days of setting up service to begin charging me and said it would be sorted within a week. I've now had to call multiple times and spent over 3 hours on phone calls (mostly waiting to get through and then subsequently waiting for a supervisor to help). I've just had a service call where the tech came at the end of my 3 hour window I had to wait around to tell me "I was sent out to make sure there was a wire - we'll get it taken care of in about 2 weeks". I'm livid and exhausted. What "award winning customer service"? Avoid at all cost.
I just filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney's General Office. Wow tells us they'll have someone out within 5-7 days! Who wants to wait that long when you are paying on a monthly basis?! Do yourself a favor and do not consider getting this company! We've had nothing but time spent on the phone--average time is 1.5 hours--no kidding!
My internet is up and down randomly. It's so risky to have virtual interview or important business meeting at home. Customer service takes 1+ hour to wait on the phone. Will not use this company anymore

WOW's internet just barely functions. At least once every day, it will suddenly stop working. Sometimes it'll last a few minuets, and other times a couple of hours. If you don't use the internet too often, this is a good cheap provider. Otherwise, don't bother.

Crappy service with third world techs who haven't the foggiest notion as to what is going on. Customer Service is worse... they are foreign and have no clue. Lie and steal your money! Skip! Better Internet available anyway! Trust me... you don't want to even deal with them.
They lie and provide the worst customer service ever. Whatever you do don't deal with this so called company. I have had to call over a dozen times in a year and a half. Can't wait until my contract is over.
Don't bother with the, they suck. Had them for 5 five years, never had a late payment. I moved, cancelled my service and returned my equipment, found out they sent a Bill to collections which I didn't even know about, $85, my credit score went down 49 point because of this idiots, run from them, do not bother
I have been a customer of wow for 7 years. I returned the boxes when i moved out and they credited by account for all but one box. Spent on hold for 30 minutes to request clarity on what happened. Difficulty communicating with the representative. Acknowledged finally some of the boxes were returned after challenging the point. Requested a waiver for the $199 dollar fee for a 7 year old cable box being charged. Told me nothing can be done. Sadly I enjoyed wow as a cable provider, but this experience has left me confident i'll never use them again.
Started out OK but downhill from there. Hope this information is helpful to others.
1. If they owe you money, forget about ever seeing it. Was owed $9.06 (not a lot but it's mine, not theirs). Have waited 4 months and made 3 calls; giving up.
2. Be sure to check the 'Additional Services' portion of statement. I was charged for an additional adaptor I never received/used but had no way of proving it and had to pay $129 when I closed the account.
3. Was charged $2.00 monthly for a digital adaptor when the cost was to be $1.99. Again, not a lot of money but if they're overcharging all their customers one cent per month this is a nice, if not illicit, profit for them.
Was very happy for the first 1 year and a half since 2019. Ever since they kept raising prices and now the worst of all, enforcing monthly data cap especially during the pandemic and holiday seasons when data usage is at its peak. Time to find another ISP!
We finally had to ditch the service because it was so slow and spotty. Upon disconnecting, they attempted to charge us for a router and mesh system we never had. Upon install, we used our own router, with their required modem.
To this day, I am still fighting a $300+ charge that is a spiteful scam. My next step is taking them to small claims court and making a formal complaint to the BBB. I would not recommend using this shady company under any circumstance.

Will never use their service again. Tried their wireless in my home, never worked after numerous attempts, and they continue to bill me the balance of the 1 year contract. Residential salesperson said 90 day cancellation, customer service says 30 day cancellation. Won't budge even though I reported issues after week 1 and cancelled at 35 days. TERRIBLE
Goes down every single day, multiple times a day at random. Takes multiple minutes to come back each time and some nights just doesn't come back on at all. Least reliable service provider I've ever used in any of the 10+ states my family has lived in.
I sold my business and my house the end of August, I called wow to stop service. They have proceeded to charge me and will not refund my money. I have been on the phone at least 30 times trying to get someone to help me. They give you the run around, do not document any conversations in regard to your calls. They might process one of my refunds, however it takes 4 to 6 week! This company doesn't have any integrity, they don't teach their employees how to handle refunds. No one understands the process and the ones that do don't tell you. I owned a company for 11 years and I guarantee you I had to make some refunds, I did't give my customers the run around! To think that you have to jump through hoops and keep calling them for your money! I am pretty sure taking money out of my account when I stopped the service is illegal. I will be contacting my lawyer today. DO NOT USE WOWWAY!

Customer service with WOW is absolutely terrible, I have a technical issue with my box but after contacting customer service they refused to send a tech to my home even though I pay a monthly fee for a
"Service Protection Plan". I have been a customer for over 5 years but got nowhere speaking with a representative. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they said there isn't one. I have tried 3 times to resolve this issue but they would not cooperate.
How is it possible that such a large company has such awful customer service? I am as of today an ex-customer.

After 15 years of being a faithful customer of WOW, I finally have had enough and I cancelled all my services.
Customer service has NO customer service. They are foreign and I could never really understand what they are telling me. Wait times are one half to almost 1 hour.
WOW sure wants you to pay your bill on time, but when you have issues with your service it's nothing but a run around.
I just spent the whole morning and early afternoon on the phone with them and my problem was never fixed. Never again will I use this company or refer them to family or friends. 15 years of loyalty means nothing. You can pay your bill on time also, but WOW does not care!
Shame on WOW! This company deserves to go down the tubes!
My account was CHARGED TWICE to two different cards after I turned autopay off, so I did not authorize those transactions. I have spent 2.5 hours on the phone the past two days trying to figure out what went wrong. I now received an overcharge fee to my bank because they continued to charge me. I tried contacting 4 different agents and no one would give me a consistent answer, I was told I authorized it by one person and that it was a system glitch on their end by another. They told me they cannot do refunds until 10 days after the transaction but I have bills to pay and now am behind. I am so disappointed with this company and would not advise to use since they charge without authorization and customer service is awful.
This review would be a Big Negative 5 stars. If possible. I have moved into my new house on 19 August 2023. I have tired to return their equipment to their closed office in Columbus, GA. I am a disabled combat veteran and I can not open their misfunctioning equipment return drop box, plus it is already so full of other returned equipment. I have called them already 5 times requesting a shipping label so I can take the equipment to FedEx to be returned. I have heard the same response 4 times previously. " We cant email you shipping labels but we can send you return boxes. I think that it's a design flaw in order to try and stick me with the bill for the equipment that I can't use in my new home currently. I am not playing this game with them for my hard earned money especially since my account was terminated by myself on 19 Aug 2023.

Would give 0 if able to. Was on phone with customer service for OVER an hour today. They were not able to solve even 1of my 3 problems! Needed to change account my autopay taken from. It was a frustrating joke! Finally had to make account on their site to do. Need to figure out logistics of getting new internet and will cancel all services from WOW. Monthly charge almost $250! Have limited cable and slowest internet! OUTRAGEOUS

From the day they installed my cable and internet it's has disconnected multiple times every single day. They have sent out one idiot technician after another and still I'm sitting her once again without any services because they refuse to fix the obvious wire issues outside. I have had to spend countless hours on the phone missed time at work because they are horrible. I work from home and absolutely rely on my internet to work but can't because the signal goes in and out every hour. The worst company I have ever had to deal with. I have placed a complaint with the BBB, WOW should not even be allowed to be in business.
