Overall, Best Buy is a complete joke. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau about this company. They are complete rip off. I can't wait until Amazon buys them out and they shut down. They literally stole a package and refused to give me my money back. I found the police report, and they never refunded me for the amount. Then for complaining, they placed me on a no online order or store delivery order List as if I would purchase from them again.

I purchased a samsung laptop from them and the screen was cracked when i got it home. The next day when I went to return it the customer service manager refused to at least exchange it. Their website is worthless and now im stuck with a broken computer.

9 days ago I was told I'd receive a call back within 24 hours to schedule a free in home consultation to add a stereo system in my shed and a home theater system in my house. I've still not received a call back. Today, while trying to inquire and/or speak to a manager, I was transferred 9 times and spent over an hour on the call and still didn't get anywhere. One rep told me he could schedule the appointment for a fee of $99. When I pressed him about this fee for a "free" consult, he eventually said, "well, if you want me to be completely honest, these are no longer free." When I asked to speak to a manager, he told me that mangagers don't take phone calls. I am a manager myself and I will say this has been one of the most painful and mis-managed processes I've ever experienced.

I took my cell phone in for a screen repair and Geek squad repaired the screen but damaged my phone. Management denied any wrong doing and after paying $199, all I have to show for it is a nice looking phone that no longer functions properly. I was offered to purchase another phone as a resolution. The phone and warranty originally cost me $1250. Please beware!

The do not take any responsibility for damages. Beware!!!

I am employed here at Best Buy in Lone Tree@ Park Meadows, CO. I witness Bobby always treating Blacks & Hispanics terrible. He often laughs & says they need to go back to their countries. He is quick to tell customers if they call to complain about him or people like Constitine, they will be on hold for an hour with customer service wasting their time. Is this what Best Buy represents? Gay people are upper echelon & others are beneath them?

We spent one hour and six minutes resolving a charge for an item we never received from Best Buy. We were frequently informed that we needed to wait for various procedures, received inconsistent responses, etc. They were unable to send us a confirmation email to reassure us that this had all happened.

We just ordered a washer, with installation and disposal of the old one. Two guys showed up, saw that the dryer was connected to gas - we said we would disconnect, but one guy offered to do it for some cash; we shook hands and he said "We will be right back" -- and they left to get the washer (we assumed) but they never came back again. After about half an hour, we called BestBuy and suggested they just drop it off and we would take care of installation and they could credit us those fees. But no, they wanted to reschedule for next week. After we stayed home ALL day AND despite the fact that our delivery/installation window was still open and they could not have been far away. Unacceptable service, generally, but especially for someone who just dropped $1,000+. Cancelling my order as fast as I can.

I have never in my long life been transferred to so many different departments in order to purchase an appliance with partial gift card payment.
Do not get fooled and sign up for rewards programs on their visa. Bc it absolutely sucks. You have to waste so much time on getting your rewards and applying it.
I think my blood pressure went so high speaking to bunches of idiots they hired.

I would never again purchase anything on line or use their so called rewards Visa card. It’s waste of time.

HORRIBLE! Wasted my time talking to someone in the wrong department after I told the automated robot what I wanted. I get the texts on my phone for appts but she said she couldn't speak to me only my husband because my name is not on the account but we are total tech members. I am done with those jokers!

Amazing service for me! And most importantly it came in handy when I casually broke my TV. I came over a nearby supermarket, and damn, the prices were kinda unpleasant. It was too expensive for me to pay money for almost the same model that my TV had, but when I bought it, it was twice cheaper!
Fortunately, I stumbled into these guys, this platform and decided to acquire a new TV via them. It's a real bargain! I didn't pay much for a whole new TV and got a better model. Niccceee...

We were shopping for a dishwasher and told the salesman that it had to have an open bottom to connect to our floor-mounted water source. He said it absolutely would. It arrived, and it had a closed bottom, so we sent it back. Without our knowledge or consent, they ordered a second one and charged us for it - the exact same one. We called and got customer service in India, where we were passed to 5 different people over the space of 1.5 hours. Finally, we got the right one ordered, but were told we wouldn't get credited for the first one for up to 7 days. All of these were their errors. Why are we made to float them an interest-free loan for a week for their mistakes? We canceled, and will never deal with them again.

I ordered a "Geek Squad" refurb Xbox Series S from Best buy. When I received it, it was missing the battery pack AND I was sent the wrong charge cord without the AC wall plug. It uses the USB mini, NOT THE USB-C. After an hour plus going back and forth with online chat customer service, online Geek Squad, to which both just ended the chat without warning. To talking to someone at the call answer center. All told me to drive an hour away and return my item for a refund WTF! I ask them to just sent me the battery pack and I'd buy my own charger... No one would listen to reason or even cared. Use Amazon people! Boycott Best Buy! They won't even let you call your local Best Buy store. All calls are routed to a central call center and will not connect you with the local store. Boycott, Boycott! They have even blocked their own site from receiving reviews. "This function is no longer available" SERIOUSLY?!

I bought a computer at Best Buy and in December of 2023 I found out they had billed a renewal fee. I called the Geek Squad and canceled it and the guy told me he had it canceled and a refund would be coming soon. I have been calling for 4 months and still nothing. They called me a liar about calling in December and I ended up paying a prorated amount. I will never shop here again.

Don’t buy anything from their store. They will find something to charge you for and rip you off.

As a geek squad member we were happy to know that there was in home repair when our TV went out. Until our appointment was canceled 3 times! Went into our local store trying to get help but they wouldn't even talk to us about it... only through the 1-800#. Getting our new TV from Costco at a better price with free add ons.

Purchased an air fryer for a Christmas gift. Had a total knee replacement on 12/29 and was told I could not get a credit card refund on 1/31 when I attempted to return the unopened box with my receipt Just started walking around again.
Customer service was non existent.
Will not shop at this store ever again.

Check your receipt and do not have surgery and expect them to understand why you are late trying to return a unopened item.

Can I give 0 stars? I will never ever buy from this company again. I bought a washing and dryer machine, with installation and haul away services included and the deliver have been rescheduled 3 times. Today when they finally came to deliver it, I found out that the drivers were only gonna deliver the machines and somehow the installation and haul away of my old machines were taken off from the order. Result: I have a washer and a dryer left in the middle of my living room. After calling to resolve the situation, being transferred to 3 different agents and staying on the phone for 1 hour, I found out I gotta call back tomorrow to reschedule yet again the service, since the order was not opened for editions. Worst service ever. When these companies are going to start to be punished for misleading the customer?

Very competitive prices, good selection of goods but very poor to non-existent post sales support. Attitude is "you bought it, now it's your problem. Talk to the manufacturer if it doesn't work as advertised." I don't patronize them anymore. Too many nasty experiences.

Customer service is horrendous. Good luck with finding someone who actually knows the products and/or can answer a simple question. Make sure you know exactly what you want and that it is a good deal. You can find an OK deal on occasion. My store does not answer the phone, Ever! It will ring indefinitely. While you're in the store, however, there are salespeople everywhere, just standing around. I give this chain 3 more years until the Geek Squad unit is the last remnant before collapse. There is no value-add to this chain.The 800 number reps do not know their stuff either as I had ordered a mobile installation and scheduled service... of course the unit was incorrect for the vehicle and the time allotted was insufficient. Then the tech stated that he left at a certain time and would be unable to complete the installation... nice customer service, especially after THEIR mistake.

Recently had 2 experiences with sales "associates" at BB:
Told sales person I wanted to get a holder for my TomTom GPS. Guy promptly picked out one that only fit the Garmin. I noticed the pic on the box and found the correct one my self.
Next, went to another BB and asked for an adapter to fit an older monitor to a newer computer. Salesperson showed me the one they had-it didn't look right, so asked one of their
"geek squad" if there was any other option. He promptly sold me a $49.99 gadget for connecting extra monitors. Of course it did not work. Spent hours on line finding the correct connector-finally did-for $4.95.

Pay a restocking fee. One of the first companies to introduce, and they haven't given it up yet. I shop in the store when I need supplies (obviously that don't need returning), but it is the stupidest and most disrespectful practices towards customers ever. Go elsewhere for your electronic needs or appliances.

Purchased a dishwasher. Delivery/installation crew claimed the water supply fixture for the dishwasher/sink was "totally" corroded and needed to be replaced at an additional cost of $450, on top of the purchase price. How convenient that they were there to do the job.

See the image gents. Where's the corrosion?

Plumbers also told me the wiring harness recommended by Best Buy and purchased for the install was risky and not recommended, but they did not offer an alternative. I assume that involved some effort to line their pockets as well.

Really poor form on the part of the plumbers, trying to milk someone for their personal gain when they were there to do a job for Best Buy. From the reviews I read after the fact, I don't find it surprising that Best Buy is affiliated with dishonest brokers.

I requested a complete refund. Despite being able to take my money immediately upon purchase, of course, they told me it would take days to process the refund.

Buyer beware!

None. Still have my old broken dishwasher. Anybody that can deliver a Bosch 300 series 24" with a recessed handle, installed with the old dishwasher hauled away for $1,100 or less, I'm all in.
