There billing ethics are deplorable. Billed for services not asked for and then given half a credit for the service you did not request and to add insult to injury charged a late charge. When dealing with the people in the Billing Dept it is a runaround to get to a Supervisor. Too bad only game in town.
Awful. Just plain awful. I'd rather just rate Comcast -5 stars because this company is plain evil at this point. Their internet service is an absolute f*cking scam, I've been using Xfinity internet for quite a while, and it's the worst thing that I've been using in my entire life, at least I have t mobile as my cellular carrier, and who knows maybe I can have them as my internet provider as well
The service technician Mark Jackson was literally there for over 2 hours, he was very humble, pleasant and patient, it was really hot outside so we made sure we kept him hydrated, after the job was completed he made sure every tv was good and he explained to us how to work our remotes and he was also very fun to talk too. Mark you rocks!;
You never get the speeds you pay for. It's mostly about 70%. Random outages happen throughout the day. But as soon as you run a speed test with their app, it bumps up to 119% of the plan speed. For a little while.
Customer service will ask you 20 times how's your day was, and assure you 21 times that they will make it better… before they start working on your problem. And while they are working on your problem they'll try to sell you their celular phone service! Then when you ask for a discount on your bill for the multiple outage days they simply put you in hold until you give up and disconnect from the chat.
Worst part is that this is a monopoly and I don't have any other service available in my area!
I added tv onto my bill last month and the rep told me it was going to be $60 more a month. It was double that. Called to cancel this morning and they raised my internet bill $50 a month! So, they lied about the tv charge and then when I called them on it, they increased my internet bill. Avoid these jerks at all costs!
Since the cable was installed we are having trouble daily. Have to troubleshoot and call for a technician and internet is always off. Service installed a week ago and bill is due in less than 3 weeks for 0 service and first technician broke 85" tv and denying the claim
Xfinity is a great company when you have internet service with them on the other hand they are the worst company for customer service I've ever dealt with in my entire life. They're automated system sucks you can never get the answer you're looking for and their chat with an agent never has somebody on there that knows what you're talking about or knows what you need. It took me today to find the right person over three and a half hours on the phone and I had to verify my identity five different times and I talked to five different agents and still never got the person I needed to get to
I have never dealt with a company that scams elderly like this one. They scam them into a contract then send a early termination bill when you move. You have to go thru a machine until you can finally get a human and then they rude.
Honestly, not only is xfinity getting more and more expensive, the quality has gotten worse and worse, not only the quality of the actual wifi, but also the quality of the customer service which is practically non existent. Horrible, just get Verizon instead if you value your money
Xfinity sent a Bill for me for a service which was pre-ordered and never started. I had clearly mentioned to all the agents I had to talk that I will start the service once I reach the new location, but all of a sudden I saw a new bill coming up for a service never activated, never used. Spent more than 1.5 hours explaining their chat agents and they kept transferring me back and forth between billing and service teams. They don't even have a way to verify if the service was ever used and remove the billing. Worst experience.
I just started this service a couple years back and they have the worst technical support. I was on the phone for at least a half hour setting up an appointment for a technician to come to my home and change out the box only to find out that there wasn't a appointment scheduled. I find this to be completely unacceptable due to the fact that I scheduled my whole day around this three hour window.
Only to be compensated a small amount of money being on the phone for at least 30 minutes each time explaining the situation.
I've had nothing but the worst experience getting a hold of anybody to speak to when there is a problem with the service. Consumer beware.
If you can, choose to do business with anyone else. They do not keep their word on pricing and do not do what they say they will do like "calling back"

Xfinity customer service sucks. My home phone and internet went out on July 21 2022 and to this day my home telephone don't work. I am paralyzed and medically needy but that makes no difference to Xfinity. I have lost my job due to my telephone service not working and I can't call and ambulance when and if I need one. Xfinity has been paid in full every month even though I didn't have all my services. Customer service agents don't return phone call nor do they care about the customer.
My bill is so high It's has to be price gouging. It's one of my largest bills next to my rent. They just took my favorite program that I would watch all the time "free" and moved it into a package. So the only way I can watch my program now is by subscribing to the sports and entertainment package. I hate Xfinity.
I think we can all collectively agree that calling into the Xfininty customer service line is the absolute worst customer experience you can have. I dont know where they find people that dont know anything about anything and take as long as they do. You will not get off the phone in less than 40 minutes and you may or may not have any resolution. It's bad. Like, really bad. Every. Single. Time.
The absolute "Worst" Customer Service that any company can have! Solving even the simplest of requests are impossible, it's one large circle that they take you through as if to try and confuse you as a customer. After 11 years of being with this company and spending (Thousands) every year with these people, the results remain the same. They could less if you are a valued customer, and if you call customer service, be prepared for at least 1+ hour to be on the phone, and 3+ hours if you have a simple request. The CEO of this organization needs to put his martini down for one minute while he is on his private jet and read what is really going on with his company! This would be a perfect example of that TV show called undercover boss. He/She would get a wakeup call on how this company is nothing more than a 3rd world company that needs "Serious" fixing from top to bottom!
Plaxo is totally useless and spams me all the time - Back in 2001-2002, Plaxo seemed like a great way to keep your address book current. But today, Plaxo is completely useless. I use Facebook and Linkedin, which do a better job of helping me keep track of people. All Plaxo does is spam me with emails every day. I can't believe Comcast bought them.
My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and embarrassing. They canceled my service after recieving a payment. They force you to leave a credit card on the account. Most Americans are struggling and don't have that option. This is Not for the people, it's against the people. I'm beyond dissatisfied. I wish I was still with Verizon. I never had connectivity issues and service interruptions with Verizon. I made a major mistake choosing Xfinity.
MY bad because today I spent 31/2 hrs on line with xfinity with someone that did not understand me nor I them. After getting no where with them or there superviser which I had the same communication or should I say lack of. Out of frustration and no internet I call back and was connected with a gentleman in Texas which I could totally understand and had me up and running in 15 minutes. Why does it need to take 30 minutes of pushing buttons to talk with a live person. They always ask if you speak Spanish when they should ask where you live also, so they can give you a rep you can understand.
I gave this a 2 only because I almost always do not read one star or 5 star reviews.
Ones often complain about everything and 5 stars are from all their friends or investors.
They promise high speed get you signed up and it is great for the first couple of days. Then before the week ended there was an xfinity van in front of our house working and then our speed went downhill fast. They lure you in and then lower their quality.
