Unreliable service for Internet and Cable TV. Have to reboot very frequently, sometimes more than once a day. Have the latest X1 HD Cable box but get stuck on a channel fairly often. "Having Problem connecting to the Internet" is the message. The Internet "up to" 100 Mbps sometimes measures below 10 Mbps. "Up to" and "As much as" are meaningless buzz words people need to be aware of!
I used to have Verizon Fios until I moved and the only service by me was Xfinity. Not only did it take 4 hours to get my wifi set up when I moved, it also would disconnect every other month. Don't bother. It's the worst.
Xfinity is the main internet provider in our area however, if they were not we would change in a minute. They are horrible overpriced, the customer service is terrible, and the quality of internet and cable is only so/so. This is not the forum to ask this but does anyone know of a different provider?
Once again just terrible service on the part of Comcast/Xfinity. You don't have to look to far to see how many times I've contacted you about this horrendous service. About a month ago You guys were in the neighborhood performing an "upgrade" for better service in the area. The service was down for a fay and a half for the "upgrade" since then we still have had outages and disruptions in our service.
At this point I'm just waiting to move so I don't have to deal with this terrible service. You guys are literally stealing money from clients with the amount of downtime accumulated from this "outages" and "unscheduled maintenance sessions." Whatever you have going on in the Salt Lake City area is obviously not working. Thanks for taking our money with no word on compensation for the ongoing issues we experience with your service
We have been customers of Xfinity for years. EVERY TIME we have needed help with our modem, we are never allowed to talk to and agent and then the automated system hangs up on us. In hopes of actually speaking with and agent to get help with our modem that wasn't working, I called the number for new service hoping they would help me or connect with someone who actually breathes. They hung up on me as well. Xfinity's customer service is by far the worst if any company we have ever dealt with.
If I need to go to the public library to use the internet it would be better than this sh*t. Their little timer on their customer service (or lack thereof) phone number is infuriating. They should credit me for the amount of time my service is out. If they haven't already moved their customer service to China, they need to.
I gave my old equipment to installer who came to set out equipment. He said he could take it and return. He never returned and I was charged 120 dollars

They signed me up at $54 a month if I enrolled in auto pay. During this time there was fraud on my card that was connected to the auto pay and I needed to change it. What they don't tell you is that even if your auto pay lapses one month they take it away and they won't give it back. Hours on the phone going in circles with reps and no assistance. They weren't even sending me my paperless bill. I am doing to be cancelling my service. Just don't DON'T sign up with Xfinity. They want to sell you the moon to get you signed up and they will try to charge you more and have crap customer service once they have you.
Xfinity has terrible customer service and they have been charging me double for my internet for the last 3 months, once at the start of the month and once at the end. I have repeatedly brought it to their attention, both over the phone and by chat, with no refund and no fix to the error.
So sad. Customer service does not help at all, straight up LIES to you and does not do what they promise. The xfinity website and app are lacking in features and do not allow you to make changes on your own. The internationally based customer service agents are extremely hard to understand with their accent, and do not care about their jobs!
I highly recommend that you take any other option BESIDES Xfinity. I have never gone a day without my tv flashing that there is no wi-fi connection. Talked to customer service; they threw the blame right on to Netgear. (Note to Netgear: Xfinity is not your friend.) Netgear spent several hours with me and determined that my router was working just fine. Thank god I'm moving soon, hopefully to a place without Xfinity, but none of this really matters because Xfinity DOES NOT CARE. That's all you need to know. Choose someone else even if they are a little more expensive- your mental health will thank you. Also, my pictures of my cable installation were too big to upload, but the pics show the cable meanders under the grass, over a tree root, through some dirt… Could it be that this sad installation might be the reason my wi-fi flickers in and out? Just a thought.
Disgraceful customer service from an operational stand point. They hire good people but the practices in place couldn't be less efficient. Everyone's loosing time, money including the service provider. My family has had Xfinity out no less than 1x every two months because no one can ever complete the job. The different teams do not effectively communicate needs to one another. Everyone's time is continually wasted. It's just disgusting how this is most other reviewer's issue with the company for years. No changes are ever made well.
I'm paying for 1200 mbps and am currently DL at.5-1.5 with a ceiling of 24...they've ignored requests for improvements and merely suggest restarting the modem... I got better internet coverage from starlink in Africa. Absolute garbage company.
They charged me after I canceled on multiple occasions, even though support confirmed that I didn't owe them anything, and I attempted to cancel, they continue to charge me, and then they sent the amount that they claimed I owed them to collections, even though I have proof and historical transactions to show them that I paid that amount already. When you try to get help from them to fix this issue, no one can help, because everyone is outsourced. Imagine someone who will take money from you, then outsource all help meaning that no one has any decision making ability to solve your problem. 0 out of 10. It's corrupt.
Just wasted 6 hours dealing with one assbag to the next who transfer or hang up on you while they are laughing in their mud hut somewhere other than USA. Automated bull$#*! directs you nowhere. I threw their equipment in the yard. Totally $#*!ing useless junk never worked right anyway! Isnt the internet supposed to be free?
They routinely tell costumers there is no outages to hide there horrible service, on top of that they love to try to steal more of your money by "sending a tech out" knowing darn well its their crappy service that's to blame. Their customer support is a joke that hangs up on their customers time and time again. They wanna Nicole and dime us by forcing us to buy multiple cable TV packages, if we want to see most of our channels. Basically breaking them in sub groups, elderly, mid aged and young demographics. I encourage everyone to drop them as a provider until they fix these issues, if not they will just continue to rake in our money while doing little to nothing fix the constant problems we all face.
I have a problem with my bill, no one can help me, I have talked to at least 10 or more people, no one speaks very well, their English is really bad. I am being charged for cable TV, & I do not have cable with Xfinity, I have internet only! My phone number is *******668 please if someone could please help me.
My father-in-law had a massive stroke and is unable to walk & talk. His day consists of watching tv. His favorite shows - Cheyenne, Laramie, Gunsmoke, etc. has been taken away because comcast/xfinity no longer airs INSP. This is REALLY disappointing. They've taken what little pleasure he has and that really angers me!
I've been with Xfinity for over 7+ years and as a loyal customer I'm able to say the service is inconsistent, expensive and unreliable. For me to always give them money but not have good quality service is heartbreaking. I feel scammed & used. The customer service reps can't speak English and they don't resolve any problems on no way. It's always a language barrier and Xfinity never gives me a full 30days of what I pay for. I give them 600$+ just for maybe 2good weeks of service. After that it's buffering, they're doing maintenance or other problems they're always having. They will constantly scan you and take your money but will not give u what you are paying for. After all these years I'm now tired
We moved 2 months ago and were told that our xfinity internet would transfer. They sent out a tech, only for him to tell us we needed to bury a new line and it would take 2 weeks. I work from home but I upgraded my hotspot account to make it. Two weeks passed and nothing. Several phone calls and online chats later, they sent another tech who said he had no clue why the line hadn't been buried but he'd start the process over. We received a bill for $180 when we hadn't had service at all. Finally after 2.5 months I was able to talk to a person on the phone who canceled all orders and hopefully credited our account. I've never experienced such horrible service and a complete lack of communication.
