I left Xfinity a couple of months ago. I paid the total amount due when I left. A month later, I get a bill for $1.92 that could not be paid without charging $3.99 to process the payment of you paying. Another month later I get a bill for 18.08 for early cancellation fee. They subtract this $1.92 ( who knows what this 1.92 is for) did not subtract the 3.99 because that was a made up fee anyway. Cancel fee was 20.00. How do you have a too early cancellation fee if you don't have a contract? That makes no sense. I'm not paying it, they will just make up another fee if you keep giving. Don't go there.
Seriously do not do business with a Xfinity you'll be sorry. This good advice take it or leave it.
My brother died last Christmas, and I wanted to port his xFinity land line. To port the number, it had to be ported to a mobile phone. I purchased an xFinity mobile phone and initiated a port which takes 10 days to complete. After 10 days the port failed. I have initiated this porting sequence 6 times waiting over 10 days for each with no luck. After 4 months of trying to port this number, I was told if I ported to another carrier, it would take an hour. Today I spent 5 hours in a Cricket Wireless store with a porting specialist on the phone with xFinity. The conclusion - I have to port it to the xFinity mobile number and wait 10 more days!
I've been a loyal customer for over 3 years, pay my bill early, I needed a new phone for one of the lines, they ran a credit check, fine, but denied my request for the new cell phone, which I would have to pay for in payments added to my bill. Asap I will be taking my business elsewhere.
It's sad when a big company doesn't care about people just money... Shut my service off and I rely on that for getting my meds and dealing with drs internet is a necessity it is imperative that people have this service with doctors and people relying on the internet people need the Internet nowadays it's no longer a luxury...
My programs keep disappearing from my DVR. They disappear and return. Then they disappear again. It's really frustrating. It has nothing to do with how many programs I have. I have been complaining for a year! Xfinity does. Nothing. They tell me that it is going to be escalated and someone will get back to me. They never do. I posted once before. Someone reached out. I thought that it was going to be resolved. They were investigating and would get back to me. I guess you know how that went... I finally spoke with someone who made sure that someone came out. A really nice young man actually came and couldn't figure out the problem. I'm over it. Time for me to follow the masses who are dumping these thieves.

I talked with 4 agents in as many days, they were unable to solve my problem.
They were, all but 1, more interested in trying to get me to switch my cell phone service to Xfinity than solving my internet issues
I signed up for Dish on demand with Xfinity as my internet. I was promised a $300 gift card ($100 from Xfinity and $200 from Dish), that was in July. I never received a thing. I call and was told by one rep I'd get it after 90 days with on time payments. They take autopayments, so I have never missed, but I still have not received the gift cards. What a rip off and big liars. If I wasn't stuck in a contract, I would drop them right now! I rated 1 star because there is no zero.
Not even a month and the wireless cable box stopped working. Tech came out after going through all the garbage on the phone with a non-person and finally speaking to someone. He said someone would be here next day. I called to see what time and the work order had not been put in, then when I finally talked to another person, he tells me a box will be sent and arrive in 3-5 days. I have to put the box in and get it working on my own. I asked for my bill to be adjusted. The box is eight dollars prorated into 30 days which means will be pennies taken off of my bill. What a crock of you know what. I hate Xfinity.
I moved on 08/12/2023. Was told it was cancelled at previous address. Wrong! The robot never allows you to talk to anyone! There was a time when I would call and it seemed like I was a new customer because they couldn't verify my phone number or account number. SMH, If you do not have problems then stay away from here!
If i can give a negative, I would off I am being charged for 1 1/2 years for a phone that appatrently when I called them does not exist. I got charged internet service that I disconnected and after being with them on the phone for being charged they say everything is fine. Then the next day was charged again and since didn't have money in my account got charged two overdraft fees. These people suck go to Verizon.

I moved from PSL Florida 15 miles to Stuart, Florida. Was charged nearly $300 dc fee. Couldn't get cs on the phone. Went to xfinity office 3 times. It was finally resolved. It's hell of impossible to get anyone in cs over the phone. Second, it's rare to get in and out of Xfinity's office in under 90 minutes. Third most of the office workers either don't know or don't care to get answers. They're on commission so they're focused on selling add on services. I hope this company fails I literally hate this company. Xfinity you suck!
I tried to update my credit card information on their website 17 times. It kept me in a loop for the entire time I would put in the information it would take me to pay the bill. I would hit pay the bill and it would take me back to put in your credit card information then when I finally gave up and called them, it took me 20 minutes on the phone to get an actual human being to help me. I will be changing my provider as soon as possible.
My mom is switching to xfinity - she's 86 - and xfinity has called me multiple times, I'm assuming, to help out with her plan. They didn't leave a message and there is absolutely no way to call the Gurnee Illinois location - every phone number I have brings me to a recording where I can select to talk to a person, then I get a recording that the operator is not available. I've tried multiple phone numbers with the same results. They have an online chat thing where there is absolutely no way to talk to a real person. I'm going to regret my mom's decision to switch her carrier to xfinity.
After suffering through several months of intermittent (or NO) internet service & many hours on the phone w/ their utterly dismal customer service Comcast "realized" that my connection was much too far away. Over 300' to be exact, while the recommended distance is 200' or less.
Comcast promised that this would be remedied w/ new wiring & set up an appointment w/ a TWELVE HOUR window yesterday 8/18. By hour 10 no one had arrived. A call to customer "service" resulted in assurances that the tech would indeed arrive & complete the promise updated connection.
At hour FOURTEEN, no one had arrived so another call to customer "service"! I was told that the ticket had "expired" so a new appointment was needed. THREE DAYS later. I protested vigorously & a "supervisor" called and assured me that the tech would arrive first thing this morning & the work would be completed by Noon. So far NO ONE has shown up nor called. Only 27 minutes until I change providers!
Xfinity store in Cumming, GA is terrible. They had inappropriate music videos playing on the large screen, and there was lack of support when trying to upgrade my internet service. My plan now is to cancel my internet service and move my cell phone back to Verizon.
Xfinity needs to hire people who talk English and understand all you reps over 5 years me being here are horrible they don't understands English they act slow I asked not to go on hold they put me on hold and hangs up just sick of the service and reps
I have to spend 30 min to an hour every 3 months on the phone trying to get a rep for help. My bill constantly jumps from month to month. In Feb I adjusted the bill to 115 a month. Just got this bill in April for 174. There have been no changes in the account other than this company constantly trying to steal from its customers.
Do not get phone service from them they lied just to get me to sign up so they can get commission they took $446.00 off my card for my phone lines and my bill was only $222.00 so I called them they said they would credit it back yo my account and when I called them they said they couldn't credit it back they are some liars I should have stayed with metro pcs‼‼‼‼
Xfinity is the one company I believe loves to rip people off at the very best raising rates and monopolizing at its best. One thing is for sure, people go to prison for stealing though this company can do as it wants with no regard for whom it takes from the service is criminal at its best.
