WORST Service
December 8, 2022

I was charged repeatedly for a mobile line that I NEVER activated. I received a charge for the mobile line before I had even activated my SIM card. Frustrated, I called Xfinity (waited on hold for nearly 2 hours) and asked them to refund the charge since I never even used their services. I also requested that my line be deactivated permanently. I was assured that there would be no more charges and that my account was closed. One month later, I received the same $32 charge on my credit card. THANKFULLY I had set up automatic payments for my card, or else I would have been charged a late fee from my credit card company for not paying the bill because I was not expecting a bill. I called Xfinity again and spent more hours on the phone, explaining my situation and why I needed a refund. I was assured that my line has been deactivated and that I will be receiving no more charges. Hopefully that is actually true this time.

This company is totally disorganized, incompetent, frustrating, and a waste of time. We unfortunately are stuck with their WiFi coverage since we cannot get any other service in our area. We regularly have our Internet connection go down or be "unstable" for several hours. Xfinity Comcast needs to go out of business. They are really terrible and I can't say that enough. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid them at all costs and to warn others about how bad Xfinity is.

Crappy company

I live one block away from my major highway or an Xfinity runs their service but every time I call the setup internet they tell me my address is on serviceable but never tell me the reason why or or why they won't service internet and if you look at the lines you can see where it had it TV and internet but they disconnect them and they're just dangling in the air this is one of the most crappiest companies I've ever heard of

There are many large companies who care about the individual, some better than others. One very good one is Hostess the makers of Twinkie's for example. BUT this review is on Xfinity-Comcast Cable ( not internet service in this review).
I recently had my cable TV go out and had " error codes " that they wanted me to look up and they were not one the website - yes that's right, the code on the TV was not even on their website that they directed me to. By the time you work through the phone menu you are easily 8 minutes into the call before you talk with someone. During that time one of the multiple messages tells me to go to their website.
The website is not real user friendly, but manageable. But as I said the code that the TV gave me was not even listed. It is a run-around that got very frustrating and for 4 hours I could not get the cable fixed - now it was not a total outage, but OnDemand with it's many channels was not available on a weekend!
And, I know what you are thinking, things happen. Yes they do and that it happened is not the issue! It is the long wait on the phone and their website not really helping because it has different errors codes than what they actually give you. Come on Xfinity-Comcast = an NBC company, become a company that cares about us, your customers...

Scam of a company

The service is absolutely horrible. The only thing worse than the connection is the customer service. I can get about 1% of the speed I pay for, if it's even connected at all. 0/10 do not recommend.

Rip off! Deceiveable

I am on internet essentials which is for low income. $9.95mthly after a break in@ my home I got cameras from xfinity@ $5 mthly. I had to move cause they sold the property. And then xfinity charged me the full amount for the cameras@ 1 time. $300. I never changed my service, just moved it. They say they charged me because I moved to the new address with my cameras. Now I'm trying to hook my cameras up but it says already on another account. Which means they charged me to move but left the cameras on the same address. And they won't fix the problem. I can't return the cameras cause I entered a contract to buy them! Then they say return my equipment! Some battery that I know NOTHING ABOUT! I have talked to 5 people in a week and still can't get this resolved! Nobody reading notes or nobody is writing notes. I ask for a supervisor and the representative keeps saying they said the charge is legit so they stall on the phone pretending to wait on a supervisor. When I go in an actual store in a total different city they say they can't give credits or change bill amount. This is RIDICULOUS. So I've been bill full amount for moving cameras to my new house but they don't work cause they are still tied to the old address account number.

I was completely satisfied with my basic Xfinity service. Until I got a call from a representative from Xfinity telling me that I qualified for an upgrade that will be paid for by a program call internet Essentials plus. I agreed because it sounded like a good deal. Then I got a bill of more than double what I was paying for previous. So I tried to call customer service to figure out why I was billed more than double, but got the run around and told something different from 4 different Xfinity representatives and still never got a clear answer. Xfinity customer service is of very poor quality and it is very difficult to get hold of. The service is good until they try to scam you into upgrading and you have to pay more than double. I recently did a survey online about Xfinity and I gave them excellent reviews but now I regret it because in just one week I've had a very dissatisfying experience with Xfinity. If they never called me, offering their upgrade BS and just leave things be I wouldn't have any problems with Xfinity. I am shopping around looking for a better deal from Xfinity's competitors.

Too keep an extremely long story short. Comcast is hands down the worst organization I've ever dealt with. No exaguration at all. Have talked too perhaps 4 or 5 different representatives over the past 2 weeks and my billing is a complete mess. Each representative has told me different things and each one has lied to me. Hands down worst communication I've ever received from a company. Like I said, to keep it short and simple please just listen to my warning if you are a new customer. Comcast does nothing but offer over priced packages, mediocre internet service, miscommunication and make sure you monitor your promotional deal towards the end. Because they will not get a hold of you and are just waiting badly too skyrocket your bill to something outrageous. Then when you ask for a simple fix due to you not knowing your bill would he that high after promotion, they won't do anything for you except lie and transfer you too another representative. There are cheaper better options out there I promise you. I promise.

Terrible company

Customer service is the worst in person it takes 30 min to talk to a live person the store on university in little rock ar every body pass the problem to some one else the reps are shady what out for your imformation it may come up in the wrong hands no one wants to help after they screw up ur account the one rep in little rock that look like a short black monkey tried to date my niece who was with me that is UNDER AGE he didnt seem to care when we left he was calling her i had to say i would report him thats when he stoped calling xfinity dont care about people the worst customer ser in country which i could give them a -0

I have so many complaints. 1st is they broke fcc laws by not letting us keep our mobile numbers that were originally Verizon #'s to begin with!. Then, only canceled one phone (on a stupid chat line instead of a real person!)and keep billing my daughter's - more expensive line (I am only assuming because my old phone was traded in). They wouldn't let me cancel my group phone, internet, cable last spring (of 2021) even though the contract was long expired and kept billing us even after we moved to another country! We handed in all our devices before we left. Now, back in the states, I can't get an agent to cancel the mobile phone of my daughter's, I had to hand in my old phone, so still dont know if they also are billing my number too. I can no longer use the mobile app to look into this because they suddenly have no information on my file. And when I have called (about 20 times)they immediately direct me to their collections company... still not canceling my daughter's phone (that is still getting calls and texts)and still racking up the bill! I can never get a live agent to settle all this b. S. so now I'm getting the FCC involved!

They will keep their prices as high as possible and today when we had to replace our modem, we talked to 4 agents (all to no avail) over chat because trying to get to customer service over the phone number is almost impossible. It's app will also always give you errors. They didn't fix our wifi. They repeated themselves and they ignored us or dropped us the second they realized they weren't helpful or really listening to us. In the middle and eventually even tried to sell us an activation for an Xfinity device before he even could resolve our issues, which he didn't. Absolutely awful customer service most of the time. From the app, to the call menus, the live agent chats. Occasionally a call may get it right. Here we are 6 hours later and I wfh tomorrow and we have no wifi. Finally my 8th call (not including the absolutely obstuse online live agents and Xfinity assistant) resulted in an actual human and finally got a scheduled visit for a technician tomorrow. Hope this will finally be over. I would give Xfinity negative stars if I could. Also they may make promises about discounts and then you see you don't actually have them over time lol. Good luck. Screw the venomous monopolies such as this one. You are why capitalism fails.

I was encouraged to get a "free phone" from a Xfinity representative via CHAT. I was told "several times" the phone would "be free" and THEY WOULD "ASSIGN A NEW PHONE NUMBER" FOR ME. When i recieved the phone and called for activation I was then told the phone "would not" be free because I WAS NOT PORTING OVER A NUMBER. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN THEY ARE SELLING PRODUCTS AND DON'T HONOR WHAT WE THE CONSUMERS WERE ORIGINALLY TOLD. THANK U FOR READING THIS

I have been going back and forth with Gilduardo G regarding the difference in the 3 different December 8 statements. Each statement I have reflects different versions of credits on the bill and the posting of the ACP payment. I questioned every contradictory and/or explanation about my payments, credits provided by Comcast Agent and Supervisor and the posting of ACP. Since I am a Senior Citizen and Black customer that do not fall in line with questioning his authority over my account, it's taken personally. He says since you've contacted FCC you'll need to accept my resolution are services will be interrupted. So his creative accounting will result in the interruption of services and I'll have no choice but to pay the bill as he's altered the bill. In addition, the ACP payment was removed which makes his accounting more plausible. This has been Comcast/XFINITY practice since program started. They do not want the credit to subtract from the full amount of services. I requested a 6 months accounting that includes all credits, payments along with ACP payments each by dates he refused. I asked to speak to someone over him and was told he was it that can make any decision he sees fit on my account. He refused. I asked for another Escalation Representative to review my account he condescendingly refused.

We use xfinity as a result of having. No other options for internet. The internet will randomly cut off atleast 3 times a month, and sometimes more. To make things worse, customer service is of no help and outages are unpredictable. When the internet does work, speeds are awful. We can only use 4-5 devices at a time or else we risk extremely slow internet speeds. Not to mention when only one or two devices are being used, latency hovers around 40ms which is awful for gaming, and can become an issue when streaming.

When providing a service at the scale of xfinity, there is no excuse for this level of inconsistency and alarming quality.

IF YOU HAVE ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS, USE THEM. DO NOT EVER USE XFINITY

Absolutely HORRIBLE

It is nearly impossible to get ahold of an agent. They screwed me over and added a bunch of random fees AFTER MY CONTRACT ENDED AND I CANCELED MY SERVICES. The agents don't know what they're talking about and miscommunicate. This place is a JOKE
