Do not use Xfinity!

Do not use Xfinity. I would have given them 0 stars if that was an option. Their customer service is the worst and they are crooks. They charged us for equipment that we never received and don't want and they refuse to take it off the bill. Every time I call I am on the phone for around an hour, being put on hold and transferred to yet another person that is unable to help me. We have not had this service very long and I have spent hours on the phone with them, trying to correct their mistakes. Nothing has been corrected. Again, do not use this company, it is awful

F I could give the zero stars I absolutely would. My dad was just taken advantage off with an employee trying to order a phone on his account and have it shipped to the sore. They completely took advantage of an 85 year old man who went into the store to get a new remote.

After two hours on the phone with customer service I was finally able to get in touch with the fraud team. They agree an employee at this location tried to pull a fast one.

I'm absolutely disgusted and hope someone will be held accountable.

10 minutes of same automated questions trying to force me into the automated system, then barely-English speaking customer support from. The live person, answers my question with questions, gave out wrong information, actually had a customer service rep "singing" in my ear as I was trying to locate information on my mobile app that would clarify what she could not even find on my account in front of her.

Pitiful. Just pitiful! And YEARS and YEARS of 1-star out of 5-star reviews! How do you remain in business and continue as the monopoly that you are?! No small business could ever get away with this.

Worst Customer Service
December 8, 2022

I recently had my xfinity bill go up 40% with no heads up my promotional offer was set to expire. I called in when I saw this and no one was able to get close to the previous price. I talk to new users and their offers are much better than those of loyal customers. I wait until Cyber Monday and use the web chat as it takes less time. They were able to help me get back to the reasonable promo price and increased my internet speed. I took screen shots of the conversation stating nothing from my previous bill is changing. So I set up the new gateway only to find out they didn't include a tv box as active so need to charge me $8.50 a month or $120 a year for an error by them. After 2 hours of sitting on hold to speak with a supervisor I had to options either pay or cancel. The only good news is I can go look elsewhere because I can cancel this service within 30 days.

First you can spend an hour trying to convince the "digital assistant" to connect you with an actual human, who will then spend another hour telling you why they can't solve your problem and that in the long run your business means nothing to them. Or you can go to one of their stores and be condescended to by a 20 year old with a man bun who will tell you that you should be happy they raised your rate by only $50 a month for no reason, and that they have never heard anyone else complain about bad customer service. They are absolutely the worst.

Zero customer service.

I promised myself years ago I would never do business with comcast again and reneged on that promise. I should have followed my instincts. The internet service is the worst I have ever experienced. Then I had a billing dispute. I was on hold for 2 hours and in chat for 2 hours with no resolution. You were talking to live people but they sounded like robots just following a script. If I can give them a zero rating I would. Bad product poor customer service

Headline says it all! They charged me for services after I disconnected them, didn't send me any messages regarding these charges, then sent my account to collections. When I try calling to dispute, I just get routed to the collections agency and have not, to this day, been able to speak to an actual person at the company. I had my credit score drop because of this, a grand total of $33 that I didn't even owe them in the first place. Terrible company. Do better.

Make sure your payments are on time or get a shut off warning.
But have a service issue like the service line hanging 3 foot from the ground causing access and possible dangerous situation and told to wait 2 weeks for service to raise the line. Ridiculous.

Internet service? Ya not happening Xfinity! TV channels are horrid! You cost an arm and leg for anyone and your internet has been down 5 times in two weeks! No it is NOT high speed it is turtle slow. Time for this mega monopoly to go far away!

Xfinity has been screwing me over for the past year. When we first signed up, we just went for the $10 service since that's all we could afford. Then as we were signing up they told us we could get $30 free with the ACA. So we went with that. They continued to charge us $30 each month. I have called over 10 times to get this fixed. They never fixed it no matter who I talked to. When I asked for a refund they refused and only put credits onto my account which they used up as well. Right now I'm down $300 and they still won't fix the problem. I can't get rid of them until I move out of my apartment because that's what the owners have everyone on. The most annoying part is their terrible call center robot. It REFUSES to let you talk to someone and literally takes 30 minutes to an hour before it lets you talk to a real person.

The problem with Xfinity/Comcast is that no one knows what's going on. If you get an offer from TV it's different than an offer online and different from offers in their stores. Don't stop looking to find the right deal. When you call customer service and spend hours working out the problem the next time you call there's no record of your discussions and you have to start all over only to never have it resolved. They're sitting on top now but so was Blockbuster and where are they now? Terrible customer service.

I have wasted hours trying to talk to someone who knows how to explain my bill and no one can tell me something rational to mention Isaac, Luis, ect. Because talking to a Supervisor is impossible! I am platinum supposedly my bill has reached almost $300.00 and after I have cut part of my programming and help from the $30.00 from the Gov. I paid $164.00 for a single month, now again my bill has risen to more than $200.00 without any explanation, I feel totally cheated! And I will arrive where necessary.

Honestly, I cannot stand these monopolistic-type service industries.

Everyone wants television service, so these outfits have us all over a barrel.

I cannot begin to understand or decipher their levels of service or their billing rationales.

Furthermore my service constantly is out of order for one reason or another.

The alternatives are just as heinous. I probably should just watch TV online.

To add insult to injury, their business office employees are worse than the DMV or Washington DC bureaucratics.

2.5 stars.

Nothing but a bunch of thieves, disrespectful, doesn't care about customers unless they can screw them over. Have nothing to say about them or the people that work there. Rather go without then give them another penny since they stole from me. Once a thief always a thief and they will never get any better. Xfinity prices are ridiculous! They make it hard to get a good deal with just internet and cable! When calling in, it's a hold time for 45 minutes or more. The representatives put you on hold for the longest! I will be going to Verizon! Comcast Xfinity is a rip off!

I have had to call and be in their endless loop of automated messages 4 times. This wasted hours of my time. They cannot get their automated billing to work properly and keep emailing me that OI owe money. I m cancelling this crappy service. Better to never use the internet or watch TV than have Xfinity.

Absolutely horrible

Xfinity is absolute garbage. Like straight trash. I have never had such horrible service with an internet provider in my life. I pay my bill every month for the equivalent of AOL dial up internet. Every single damn time it gets close to my bill due date, the wifi starts to shut off and come back on. Then once its paid (on time like it is every month) it stops cutting off. Seriously, you're not making me want to hurry up and make a payment. You make me want to rip this modem out the wall, throw this $#*! in the trash and tell you to $#*! off. There are many other internet providers out there. Stop being so damn difficult to customers that haven't missed a payment in 5 years!

Worst customer service ever

The service is actually good albeit expensive. But the customer service is absolutely horrible. Plan on waiting an hour plus just to get someone with an accent you won't be able to understand. They must have learning disabilities as well because they are unable to complete the simplest task competently. When you finally get frustrated enough They will laugh at you and become condescending. These people are absolute trash!

It has now taken me about 8 hours and 1 week and I still can't get my internet. To move devices was a nightmare. Now I got it "moved" but I can't get internet. Just in order to move the service took hours talking with the worthless ai. This company completely hides. Seems like it doesn't have a single employee. Absolute garbage. It's wonderful you are saving money but all your customers are suffering. Hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. What a disgrace.
