Well developed sales process and on-boarding process, all the rest not so good. Need to wait months for issues to be finally looked into, duplicates are not being suppressed, info is incorrect on some listings... very disappointed with Yext

I too tried to fix incorrect info on my business with no luck. I called YEXT. They said sorry we can't help you without lots of money. I asked them how they do not consider this extortion. They demand money not to harm my business. Why is this not illegal?

We signed up for a year's worth of service and couldn't really tell what they were doing or had done so we did not agree to sign up for another year as they are quite expensive. It appears to me that they may have corrected some internet issues in the year that we had their service as now it appears that they undid any corrections they made when we were using their service. I would say that is pretty unethical

The salesperson called and we had a nice conversation but I told him my little company doesn't need or can afford his product. He called back today and was rude and condescending. Little snickers when he would say something smart $#*!. Guess what? My little company will turn into a larger company and we will not use you in any circumstance.

The reason we use yext is to keep our online media information correct, we came across some errors while using the yext dashboard... there was some info that was flagged by yext as it was incorrectly mapped, one email to the yext team and this issue was immediately resolved. The issue was not caused by yext but it was fixed by them, another reason why they are a great value to our Restaurant.

I used Yext once to straighten out some business listings after obtaining assurances that it was a one time payment. The next year they attempted to charge my card at the end of the year without authorization. Charges were reversed by the card company. In 2017 they attempted to charge the card again. It was reversed and the merchant was blocked by the card company. Beware

So you're aware, we offer subscriptions on an annual billing cycle, because we also pay the listing sites on your behalf. Doing this allows us to guarantee that your information will show up accurately on those sites. All subscriptions are set to renew automatically each year. Since we push and protect your data on a daily basis, the automatic renewal prevents any disruption in service. Auto-renewals are the standard practice for software services, and you have the option to opt out of the renewal or cancel your service altogether at any point. As a client, you should also have received an email notice 30 days ahead of your automatic renewal via email. If you did not receive notice, please let us know. We look forward to hearing back from you and helping to resolve this issue.

I just want to update my address for maps and I get rude $#*! emails from this company. I got a call saying I needed to pay, to update my listing. This company is garbage. I go online and set up an account but can't make any changes there either.

This people are very dishonest please do not hired them for your Bussines or you will lost your money!
I have a account with them and they did nothing for my bussines even Google recommended me to ask for my money back and I did but they send it to a wrong bank account and I lost my whole $449.00 please if you dont want to lost your money do not hired this company they are very disrespectful and manager are very bad costumer service. After i lost my money they did apologize and said that was a mistake from the agent and offers me another packets for my bussines ridiculous ahh

I have been on board with Yext from the time the sales rep called. If you want a strong Internet presence and you want to be found on directories, but don't have the time or human resources to devote to updating and posting, Yext is for you!

I am still trying to find out why I went with this company. It is almost impossible to get any assistance from them. I am looking for a way to contact someone for a problem I am experiencing. Not a good way to spend your advertising money.

I normally wouldn't leave such a horrible review of an online business but I do wed development as well as SEO and this is just a bunch of poop. They list you in web sites that almost no one uses, some of the sites where actually going out of business until they were placed in the Yext arena.
It's a scam. If it was a good thing they wouldn't constantly send out huge amounts of SPAM begging and attempting to have people purchase.
Web Developers and SEO specialists do not use them, if you were the average Joe or business don't waste your time...
Let me put it this way. If it wasn't for the amount of SPAM you get from them you wouldn't even know they exist. It proves how useless they are.

The sale rep' call me and when I couldnt make a diction on the spot he yields at me that he spent 30 min with me and I cant committee! As I call back to move forward with the service I make sure and clear what is the expectation base on the sale pitch, I was misled to understand that Yext will perform a services for me as a Premium member. Which they are not able to... I ended up canceling my service.

I have done some pretty extensive research on the company Yext.com. Not only do they charge to remove wrong phone numbers and address listing for business, I believe they may be directly responsible for corrupting that info from the start.
Yahoo and Yext seem to have so type of relationship that allows them to continue this practice. Bing and Google do not let them claim business profiles.
I also know that Yext is in some way connected to other companies like applianceappointment.com and has a large amount of advertizing sites like local.com, superpages.com, Manta.com and a good number of others.
They are very rude when they call you at all times of the day. I would also be very careful entering your info on some of these free listing sites. They will just corrupt the information any way and then call you and try and charge you for removing it. This company is a scam, beware!

This company tries to get you to sign up with them. They don't do what they promise in the first place, and if you ever leave them all the listings they've created for you are owned by YEXT so, If you ever need to update or remove this listing in the future, you CAN'T! You are stocked and there is nothing you can do! In addition to that, you not getting a customer support if you are not paying this company, they act like jerks if you are not their customer anymore.

Yext does not have control over any of these listings. Each of the sites has control. Once you cancel your Yext subscription, we remove our locks and whatever information you last updated is what stays there unless the listings provider changes them.

We do not own the information and we do not own the publishers. Only the business owner or the publisher can update the listings. It is up to each of the individual publishers if they would like to give the business control of their listings. These are not in our control.
