Well developed sales process and on-boarding process, all the rest not so good. Need to wait months for issues to be finally looked into, duplicates are not being suppressed, info is incorrect on some listings... very disappointed with Yext
Was told I would be listed on Yahoo, but my old address keeps coming up. Nothing about the new address. Terrible terrible rip off. Fortunately I was withing my 30 days and got my money back. Terrible. Don't waste any money on it.
Yext is a scam. They have an incorrect phone number for my company. I try to go directly to the pages to update them myself, but it redirects me to Yext since they are creating these pages with the incorrect data. These aren't even known pages that people use. I just want the phone number fixed, but I'm not paying hundreds of dollars to scammers.

The lady whom I assume was the manager brought color pages to our kids refilled our drinks took our dishes and brought us breadsticks. Yext delivers exactly what they say they will - they update all of my listings and if there happens to be a snafu with one they follow up on it until it is running smoothly. Real people answer questions and get back to you quickly which is refreshing and I found they keep following up until the job is complete (which can sometimes take a few days). Things aren't left hanging indefinitely. You can count on them to do what they say they are going to do!

However my investment was a waste. I saw no rise in awareness. I have no desire to build Yext by posting updates about my company on your site. I realized I need to change MY site regularly. And adjust MY SEO and keywords on MY site. Live and learn.

Keep in mind that building citations with correct and enhanced local listings plays a crucial part in your local SEO. I always recommend coupling that with Yext, as they go hand in hand. Regardless, if down the road there comes a time where your interested in managing your local listings through Yext again, just give us a call and we'd love to give it another go!
I found several sites that I never signed up for or submitted my company's listing to that had incorrect information - a fax number listed as my main and only phone number, a phone number that didn't exist, an address that we hadn't had in over 15 years etc. When I approached each company to correct or remove an incorrect listing - which I never authorized to begin with, I was usually unable to submitt my corrections directly and instead was directed to YEXT to fix. Oh yes, YEXT will be happy to fix all the incorrect listings that they posted to begin with for a King's ransom which renews each year. I am a small business and they have purposely posted incorrect information which I can't correct on my own. This is blackmail pure and simple. Shame on all of you for working there.

Cassi, encouraged me to look at and shared the services that I have received from Yext; but when I said I was choosing to cancel at this time she was very helpful in canceling my membership with a prorate to my account... and an adjustment on the charge at my bank. Called to check on my service, and it was perfect timing because I had a couple of questions and things I needed help with anyway. My account manager quickly and easily answered my questions and turned me over to IT support who just as easily fixed another issue I had with my website. I have been extremely impressed with EVERY aspect of Yext from the product itself to the people who represent it. :) You all do an AMAZING job and I am BEYOND THRILLED with your service! You know what is FASCINATING? Yext is a directory and reputation management business yet they are strategically hidden online. Their Facebook page doesn't allow reviews. They have no Google business listing to also screen reviews. Now I know why and you should too! So we are left with third party smaller platforms that luckily give people a voice to help inform future buyers.
First off, please note that you have to provide cancellation within writing 30 days prior to the end of your contract. If you do not, Article 3.1 of the "automatically renewed" contract will lock you in for another $6000+ ($3000 bi-yearly) annual fee. There is absolutely NO GRACE PERIOD to reverse the charge. So if you don't put an automatic reminder on your own calendar or renewal emails go into your spam folder, you're screwed.
When you try to request a refund 2 days after the renewal, they say "Sorry. Article 3.1 has locked you into a new contract." So shady and such a poor business model by Yext. This wasn't a customer coming to them 6 months in. They were contacted the day it was reflected on the bank statement. My advice, if you are signed up with Yext already... contact them to disable automatic renewals so that you don't end up in an expensive vicious cycle of renewing bills and renewing contracts. But my better advice is to support another service that makes honest money from people who actually need the service and doesn't have to take advantage of people. We will be looking into Moz Local, they will let you pay by client listing while Yext makes you sign up for a minimum.

We have used Yext services for years. We have an established business that was easily recognized on the web and we recently moved to a new physical location in an unincorporated city. The address we got was found with several different city names and zip codes. This DEFINITELY does not work for SERP's and there were all types of issues to maintain our rankings and search.
We contacted Yext to discuss our problems and Jess G. And her team worked diligently with us to figure out a fix. They helped with a plan to keep our business listings accurate until we could find a permanent fix. It took over a month but we finally got Google to recognize us with just one address (an extremely difficult task), and the Yext team never gave up on us. Throughout the process they answered all correspondence in a very timely manner and never made us feel stupid (and I can ask some crazy questions), or that we were being a nuisance.
I highly commend Yext for their system which is a tremendous help for businesses. But even more so for the type of customer service reps they employ and the response/help that is given. I will continue to recommend them to every person I meet who is running a website that needs good solid search results.

I'm excited to see what happens next, however I'm optimistic from what I've observed so far. The team is very professional at Yext and they are fast and informative, which I like.
Yext latches on to you when you are looking up a google site and then they try to have you subscribe to a crapload of SEO stuff and even phone you and try and pitch themselves when you never wanted to contact them to begin with!

Updates are mostly in real-time, and occur through an automatic feed that we have with each listing that we service. Through this direct control, business owners are in the driver's seat of their presence on local listing sites across the web to ensure that clients are receiving accurate, rich information that is always current.

Our small business is also being held hostage by Yext! We signed up a year ago and they updated all of the info. The problem is when you decide to no longer use the service. Now all of my info is completely inaccurate and I am unable to fix by going directly to sies because it can only be done if you are a subscriber to Yext. Complete scam and will be hiring and attorney to file suit! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

If you ever want to control your business information that Yext helps publish, you will always have to pay them. They cannot even help correct information on directories they exclusively represent.
