Perhaps you had a good experience with Intoxalock. Personally, I feel that Intoxalock are scammers, charge outrageous fees, are guilty of breach of contract and need to be held accountable for their crimes against me and probably others. I was told during the DUI/ARD process that I could continue to drive provided that I had an ignition interlock installed for two months. I have a copy of the agreement with Intoxalock that clearly shows the "lease" would expire on September 12th, 2021. Today is August 16th, 2022 and Intoxalock's ignition interlock remains in my vehicle. Worst of all, I'm being hammered with biweekly fees, monthly fees, calibration fees that continues to this day. When I called Intoxalock for an explanation and request to be reimbursed for every penny that I've been billed after September 12th, 2021, I was treated rudely by an employee who said that I wouldn't be reimbursed since I "voluntarily" agreed to keep extending the lease. This is simply not true and I've lost thousands of dollars to Intoxalock because I was told by PennDOT that if the ignition interlock was removed within one year, the ARD program requirements that I fulfilled in the fall of 2021 and DUI that have been expunged from my motor driving record for completing the ARD program requirements well within the allotted time, would be rescinded and I would lose the thoudands of dollars that Intoxalock, PennDOT, my lawyer and the legal fees that I was required to pay for a bogus DUI. I would have to start the whole process over but the second time around, I wouldn't have the option of participating in the ARD program and would have to go to court where my DUI lawyer said that most likely I would lose and face much more severe penalties as well as jail time. The DUI was the result of a foolish mistake I made when I had an accident for taking my eyes off the road for one to perhaps two seconds. Even though there were no witnesses and no other vehicles or persons involved, the Warwick Township Police Department and the EMT who responded to the scene essentially blackmailed me by forcing me to be taken to a trauma hospital and submitting my blood for testing. If I didn't agree, I would be arrested. Keep in mind that I walked away from the accident with only a broken wrist, I was lucid and answered the questions posed to me. I was unaware that the doctor prescribed medications in my system for my disability were also considered "controlled substances" and ultimately I was charged with a DUI despite the fact that the medications had nothing to do with the cause of my accident. I was told that I was being taken to a trauma hospital because I had a pale complexion. I've had a pale complexion for 56 years. BTW, thanks doc for never telling me that the medications were considered controlled substances. This review goes much deeper than just Intoxalock. Since I didn't have a solid defense against the results of my bloodwork, my DUI lawyer recommended that I basically plead guilty so I could get accepted into the ARD program and face reduced penalties and no jail time. I never should have been taken to a trauma hospital where I was blackmailed by the policeman to allow my blood to be taken for testing or be arrested. At the time, it didn't seem like an issue since I thought I had nothing to hide. The Warwick Township Police Department and the EMT on site had no right to take my blood for what was an accident caused by own stupidity. Without the bloodwork, none of this injustice would ever have occurred. So when Intoxalock says that I voluntarily agreed to extend the lease for the ignition interlock that they monitor, what choice did I have? I've paid over $15,000 for legal fees, court fees (even though I technically never went to court), medical bills, PennDOT fees, ARD fees and especially Intoxalock fees that are extremely expensive and continue to this day. If you want to call that voluntarily agreeing to continue extending the lease and all the other ridiculous fees, perhaps you can't read. If I knew that #1 PennDOT would require the ignition interlock to remain installed for a minimum of one year (now 13 months), and #2 the original Intoxalock lease wouldn't expire on September 12th, 2021, I had the option of surrendering my driver's license for 60 days and rely on family members, Uber and Lyft for rides, I certainly never would have agreed to have the ignition interlock installed and wouldn't be stating my case against Intoxalock among others already mentioned. BTW, I wasn't informed that PennDOT required an ignition interlock to be installed for a minimum of one year until after the ignition interlock was installed. I wanted to continue to have the right to drive and not be a burden on my family members so when I was initially informed that the ignition interlock would be removed after 2 months as stated in Intoxalock's original lease that clearly shows the lease would expire September 12th, 2021, I agreed to it. Being on disability with a limited income, I can't take Intoxalock to court for breach of contract and get reimbursed for the money stolen from me. I have a lawyer friend who agreed to listen to the events starting from my accident late July 2022 as well as the documents I saved. His professional opinion was that I've been a victim of breach of contract by Intoxalock as well as the Warwick Township Police Department and everyone else who have severely punished me for an accident. Everything regarding my case has been a travesty of justice. I would hire my lawyer friend in a second but he advised me that even if Intoxalock was found guilty and ordered to reimburse me for the thousands of dollars that were taken out of my account automatically because I set up autopay (another incredible mistake on my part), his fees would exceed the money I deserve to be reimbursed. I've exhausted every agency that is supposed to help victims of scams and crimes and despite getting sympathy from every one, there's nothing I can do except explain my case via online reviews (BTW Intoxalock, this is just for starters), and warn innocent victims especially regarding Intoxalock never to hire their services, trust their documents and especially give them any personal financial information. Now I understand that Intoxalock wants to contact me regarding a similar review I posted on Trustpilot. Keep dreaming. Every agency, police department and Intoxalock from the evening of my accident have blackmailed me, lied to me, misled me, stolen from me, and I'm expected to listen to Intoxalock who are guilty of breach of contract, and continue ripping me off to this day? You bastards have made me sell my house and essentially bankrupt me. Since going online and telling the truth to whoever reads my reviews and other websites where I can warn people against the unjust practices and ridiculous fees that Intoxalock has charged me and essentially put the final nail in my coffin regarding an ACCIDENT, I have nothing to lose. Sue me, I'm broke! If Intoxalock had a shred of integrity, they would mail me a check for the money owed to me. Then I would rescind my reviews. Since I don't see that happening, I'm going to fight back anyway I know how. You picked the wrong person to mess with.

Tip for consumers:
Please read the true story about how you shouldn't trust anyone and guard your personal financial information with your life. If you aren't careful, the organizations that are supposed to serve and protect as well as companies that offer to monitor ignition interlock systems (in my case), will blackmail you and ruin your life.

I purchased two items from Amazon that I decided to return. When I went through the return process, I was only sent one QR code. I took both items to the UPS Store who said that I could only return one item since I didn't have a second QR code The UPS Store employee said that I needed to contact Amazon and get a second QR code. As you're probably aware, reaching a human being at Amazon is about as difficult as landing a man on the moon. Eventually, I reached someone at Amazon, explained the situation and they said that they would email me another QR code. They stayed on the line until I got the email. I immediately noticed that the QR code was the same as the item I returned yesterday. I pointed this out to the Amazon customer service representative who insisted that I just needed to go back to the UPS Store, show them the exact QR code and it would be accepted. Not surprisingly, it wasn't. So now I'm stuck with (6) 10 ounce cereal bowls which are too small for any purpose. Fortunately, the cereal bowls were inexpensive so I'm just going to put them on a shelf and forget about it. Usually, making Amazon returns is relatively easy. I'm most annoyed that I told the Amazon representative that the QR code was identical and already used. Amazon has become more expensive and now I'm concerned that the return policy is becoming more difficult as well. I guess that's the price for putting the ex-owner in space.

Tip for consumers:
When making multiple returns, make sure that you get an individual QR code for each item. Perhaps you'll have better success than I did.

I use a variety of items from Amazon. Recently I downsized and moved to a smaller house. I didn't realize that I probably downsized too much so I need to replace items that were sold in an estate auction

About 3 weeks ago, I took my prized Tempest Viking watch to Time After Time in Richmond for maintenance. I say that it's prized because I've never seen one with a dark blue face, just black. The counter person took down my information and said that they would forward it to their repair department. Three weeks later and several phone calls later and still no word on the status of this exquisite watch. I've even received offers on Facebook when I posted it as WOTD. I would be devastated if this watch has disappeared or if the repair department damaged the watch and chose to wait and see if I'll just give up. That's not going to happen. One thing for certain is I need to find a more reputable watch repair shop in the New Hope/Warminster/Warrington/Doylestown area or thereabouts. I wish I did more homework before trusting such a treasured watch with Time After Time. To be honest, I'm familiar with other watch stores/repair shops but I need to read more reviews before trusting my favorite watch to any watch repair shop.

Tip for consumers:
Time After Time has a very nice store off Almshouse Road in Richboro, PA. I've gone to this store for miscellaneous maintenance that I didn't feel comfortable doing myself. The salespeople have always been very friendly so I never expected one of my favorite watches to go missing. Despite good experiences in the past, I think that it would be prudent to find a watch repair shop that I feel that I can trust.
