Yup, and I would say it is much better than the MT4 mobile app.
Regarding the execution and performance, there is almost no difference. Both are doing great.
But their custom app has a better design and interface.
Also, one significant advantage is that this app gives you access to your account, and you can make deposits or withdrawals. Through MT4, this is not possible.

Well, you know, it's hard to surprise anyone nowadays with the custom trading app.
And i think Fxcess app is the same story.
The only advantage that I found for myself is that i have access to my money at any time.
Meaning i am capable to request withdrawals whenever i have an app in my pocket.

So mobile trading enthusiasts will like it I guess
