Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from QLinkWireless staff and previous consumers.
Nope. Hardly ever. The phones don't even have enough memory to make calls after awhile.
Pepper phone, full of ads, hundreds of robocalls and rhe responding of the phone is about 10second gap between taps and clicks after it gets full of new updates that fill up the phone 70% memorie. But hey. Its free and in a pinch it works great. Better than nothing.
Q Link applications work a little different for everybody, Analisa! If you log in to My Q Link and check your Order Status, you should be able to get a better idea what's going on with your account. https://qlinkwireless.com/members/login.aspx
Your service is probably inactive now. You'll have to reapply and then they'll probably make you jump through hoops to get qualified again and then have to deal with a nasty rep on the phone so you might be better just going somewhere else.
Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
The tablet offer costs $10.01 with free shipping. Your savings is $99.99. They don't say what brand the tablet is but that it has a ten inch screen. I'm ordering mine today and if possible to update answers I'll add more when it arrives.
No QLink has their own cell service they do not pay other cell service companies or carriers. You can get the government funded $30 off if you qualify and that's going to end soon and pay that towards your AT&t but Q Link is a cell service itself it would not pay another carrier no. You could however unless you owe money on your current phone, you could see if yours is compatible rather than getting theirs. And you can Port your own phone number over but you need to talk to a real person to do all of that and not do it on the website.
I also believe that if your sim card is associated with another carrier you may have to ask them to unlock it and they may or may not depending on if you owe them any money on a phone or service. Q Link however provides their own SIM card and sends to you. At least the one that fits the phone that they send. There's only one drawback to the phone they send and mine doesn't keep a charge for more than a couple hours even without using it. But I do think that Sam does fit in another Android phone but I have to get them to let me know if my phone's compatible with their service.
If you go to their website there is an icon towards the left side. Or go to Help on their website and I believe there is an option on the top bar. Good luck. If you can read and follow directions you'll have no problem.
