Is it possible that i can pay per book, coz for the prescribed amount for a month i can only read one book in a month.

Hi Ashok. While some of our books can be purchased individually, most of Scribd's content is only available as part of a subscription. The ones that can be purchased individually will have a "buy this from the publisher" link on their page. --Jerry, Scribd Customer Service
