I have only had one experience with this site as a buyer. I bought a 1X BB Dakota sheer sheath tunic/dress. I received the dress promptly, but it was very undersized through the chest, bust and hips. On top of that, there were no fabric content or care labels and there were snaps at each shoulder indicating that there should have been an underlining. Swap.com offered me a store credit, but I would have to pay return shipping. I think that sizing and reviews should be provided for each item. Also this same dress was listed different ways on their site - as a tunic and as a dress. It was so plentiful that it would lead me to believe that the dress just doesn't fit true to size. So buyer beware when it comes to sizing.

They changed their return policy so beware of something doesn't fit you'll get store credit, not your money back. I was happy until today... They changed the policy and they didn't even let their customers know.

I have never had to return anything I have purchased yet and that's alot of items, their estimate on size were right on when I ordered an item without a ready size label. I order a size between my normal size clothing and have had wonderful results upon receiving my orders..

Basically you have to know your brands. Go on the stores site that sells the brand, or just Google the name and read the customer reviews regarding TRUE TO SIZE fit. If that doesn't work, you could try emailing SWAP for a more detailed size description. But be warned... if the item you're interested in has NO size label, the worker will estimate the size.

Select the size that you normally wear and if it runs too small or too large when you try it on you can return it.

The brands are usually listed and I can tell from that whether they run large or small. Otherwise, Swap has a great return policy. Barbara

I do agree with you on that women sizes do vary! When your shopping online, especially from a site that sells you clothes marked down, usually the size will say on the clothing on the picture shown!"I never had a problem with swap.com there clothes fit well, and it will tell you if it's brand new, in good condition, or worn, before you buy it, so that you're not getting taking advantage of! Just look carefully on what will be the right size for you before you buy! If you're a small, go medium, and medium into large! Hope this helps in searching the size that fits you!... :)

I buy the size I purchase in a retail store. Some cotton shirts may have shrunk a bit so buy accordingly. My one pet peeve with swap is they do not list if shorts, pants or address is a women's size. Example: 18W or 18. The W means more hip and leg room. Because of this, I end up returning an item.

Honestly, you take a risk when you buy online. They do give refunds and I believe still do free returns, but to me, it's a hassle. I do wish they did a bit better on the description of the items. It would be nice if they gave measurements. Each brand has their own fit and sizing, so you can't know for sure. I have had ok luck with getting my regular size. Most of the time it fits, but not always.

The only things I have purchased are shirts for me and children's things. For me I just ordered the size I usually wear. If not sure go to a store and try on something from that label. This will give you an idea how the sizes are. Hope that helps. My size fit perfect!

I usually stick with the brands I know but if it's something I love then I will take a chance. You have to know your body. In the end, if it doesn't fit pass it on. I love this site.

I usually take a 7/8.9/10 in junior sizes because they are cut smaller. 7/8 misses... some labels run very very small! If you see an item you like try going to either macys or nordstroms and looking up the size chart for that particular line of clothing... this is how i determine which size to purchase. Hope this helps..

As everyone has mentiined, they give a full refund, and a shipping label, so returns are easy. I do not agree with buy the brands you know, as already worn items do change the way they fit. My best advice---buy what you love.

If it's a brand you are NOT familiar with, look for reviews online or look up the brand and see what others have said.

You don't that is why I love swap.com so much because if it didn't fit or wasn't true to your size they would give you a full refund and free shipping. They no longer do that they give you store credit so I have stopped shopping there

It's good to know your brands for sure. That is the only way to shop.

I have never had an issue with the size I buy for myself but with my daughters as you said sizes do vary. They brought items based upon the size they wear and some items I had to return and it was easy to return, you just let them know what it is you want to return and they send you a return label that either you can print or they will mail to you. If you can't get to a place that those Fed-Ex you call them and they will arrange for Fed-Ex pick-up. I'm very happy with this site and their customer service is wonderful.

If you go to a brand website, they usually have their size measurements somewhere. I do wish they put the measurements of the pieces on swap though. I usually purchase brands which I am already familiar with their sizes, but of course you really don't know if an item has been shrunk due to drying or stretched out until you receive it. Luckily, swap has a very easy return policy! Whatever doesn't fit or you don't like, just print the return label and send it back! Hope this helps.

I personally select only brands I know fit "true to MY size"! I recently ordered a couple tops which I did not realize were juniors. Needless to say they did not fit. Otherwise, I have had good success. There are various ways to select size as well, You can pick by number size or just S, M, L, XL, etc;

Thats hard to answer. Every company makes clothes different. I can say that I guessed when I ordered and only 1 of the 7 didnt fit right. I wasnt worried about it, the shorts were only $4. Might fit in them one day. Hope this helps.
