I called first and the nice ladies in the office said because I am a senior citizen the birth information is in a warehouse and it takes a couple of days. I returned in Wednesday but had to leave (to get a person out of Stanford Hospital) and returned Thursday. You will get it eventually mine got took 6 months. It was from Indiana. Go through the health department in state you were born in it is hassle free cheaper and way quicker I got mine a week later through health department.
