is the single vision considered a prescription? does it actually help your eyes and after clicking single vision would i then choose no prescription and it would still come with a sense that helps distance as the single vision promises?

Why did the anti-glare coating become so fuzzy that I can barely see through my 2 year old lenses? Can I decline this coating in the future?
