When a Charged is expired, why don't you set up a screen that automatically allows you to edit the exp date. Only logical since you already know to not accept the card due to expired date.

I love the variety and quality!st Dibs offers however! And this is important! While reading and reviewing images and dimensions info etc. the seller had sent me all of a sudden, the photos and the history of many (not all, oddly) of our messages back and forth vanished. As in NOT available, not showing up in the messages area, maddening.
