The experience in my first purchase was excellent, only that I still do not fully understand the terms of purchase and the guarantee of the order the time is very short and I had not received my product yet

It's my first time to place order to a Chinese supplier. We have been communicating for more than 6 months, finally I decided to take sample and it turns out great. So I placed order for 20ft container. Then I got many great quality coffee grinder. They are durable and high quality.
I think I met a great realiable coffee appliance supplier.

My experience with the platform has been great, i understand and know there could always be improvement and i will suggest mine in the correct format at correct time, However this review is for the Alibaba Service and it is getting better all the time and i have no doubt it will just get better.
Service with client and supplier is good in that Alibaba want both to be a success, WIN-WIN for both even when thing go sour they keep the process moving along to obtain a compromise.

Alibaba is a great tool! I loved it since the very first time I started using it. I got three diferent sample orders and am very satisfied.
A couple of things that could be improved are: One, include a more complete comercial invoice. In order to import, information such as HS code is important to know and should be included within the invoice. Two, providng an invoice for the transaction fee wouldnt hurt you.

In July this year I was shopping there for the first time, so I was a bit worried that I would be scammed. Also, it is not possible to pay by a credit card but bank transfer to China is required.
I posted there a want ad and a chinese company which was selling the exact product as I wanted responded to me. I purchased the goods from them via Trade assurance. I had to transfer them 1500$ dollars deposit (covered by Trade Assurance) and 6500$ I paid to their bank account before the goods were shipped.
The chinese company sent me pictures of the goods before they were shipped. They dispatched the shipment by FedEx and I received it after 9days.
The goods were in excellent condition, exactly as described and I will buy from there again.

If you get cold feet after a purchase from alibaba. I did, after the vendor I dealt with told me they couldn't fulfill my order until after the spring festival (very professional). Then the unit I was buying was hot pink (not my color). So I asked the vendor please any color but pink. The answer I got was totally unexpected. "Because the unit is in production now the color is pink". In other words, your getting pink, " like it ". Naturally, I tried to cancel. With the cancel button they offer you. Seller will not approve the cancelation. Says, we'll ship as soon as possible.

For me, I wouldn't have placed the order if I knew they were out of stock. Furthermore, hot pink should be a color to choose, not forced to accept.

There is no protection on this site. If you want to cancel an order they put YOU to work to do it. Some of the sellers on this site are very shady I won't use alibaba again.

I needed to find a 2mtr wide roll of flyscreen. Could only source 1.8mtr wide fly netting from the local market. Joined alibaba was able to find a proffesional company to fill my order. I liked the security of having trade quality service and the ability to communicate through alibaba with the company. This isn't the first time I've used alibaba and it certainly won't be the last

I had some shirts made with my own custom designs. When I received the items, one of the boxes was torn at the side. Overtime I found out and realised from my customer's complaints saying that the shirts had some yellow (rust like) stains on the shirts.

I brought this up with the supplier and they said they would compensate me on my next order by lowering the prices. The new prices they gave me was still higher than other quotes I received for my 2nd order from other suppliers and they weren't lowering it at all.

The only way they were going to compensate me was if I placed an order with them. Why would anyone in their right mind order from someone that has left a bad first impression and infact also ruined your reputation as a company.

Samples are also really expensive so just be prepared to blow quite abit of money before even getting started.

Very good prices, but be aware of al hustlers and scammers, because they are plenty at Alibaba. Always look for the review and transaction histpry before contacting anyone at Alibaba. Review's speaks for themselfs, and here it's extremely important to do some research about the company you're buying from. Overall it's a good website, and Alibaba staff and security are very professional and fast working when it comes to bust the scammers & liars. ALWAYS use the "Trade Assurance" when paying a compnay here, never ever send WU or Moneygram

I am pleased with the suppliers, choice and pricing for my initial international order. Drafting RFQ's, selecting suppliers and determining order quantity was easy and the security of Trade Assurance reduced risk for me.

Jaipuri Bandhej on Alibaba. Placed a couple of orders through them, 1st order seemed ok, but in the last order they forgot to add a shipment of expensive clothing. When I tried calling them umpteen times, they didn't respond for over a month! Then I got hold of another number, reached someone else at the wholesaler, he made the Sam promises and asked me to place more order so he can combine shipments, took months and still not finalized order, or sent my shipment or even have the courtesy to return the money for goods not delivered! Very flaky, and ridiculous service. NEVER BUY FROM THEM, u never know if you will get what u paid for!

Just finished my first purchase through Alibaba. I'm very pleased with the whole process, Good rating system for the sellers. I find the site easy to navigate.
