I was new to Alibaba, ordered 3 times, the first time I purchased from a company called Teamtai Bags Co... Joe Fu was the guys name. I paid him a deposit and kept emailing him to check in on my bags. He kept giving me excuses. I then did an internet search on his company and there were similar complaints. Next, I ordered a fire starter, they came and the quality was good no problems. Third time, I ordered an enamel coffee mug and the girl told me I would get it in 4 weeks. 3 months later I got the mugs and the quality was horrible! They looked totally different than what was sent originally.

The vendors on Alibaba lie, they present a sample that is great quality and then you receive the order and the products are totally different, they lie and tell you a timeframe and you end up getting the products months afterwards. My experience so far isn't great. I am going to try to find American companies to buy from since I don't trust Alibaba vendors. THEY ALL LIE and misrepresent their products.

Alibaba is the single best service for sourcing Asian manufactured goods. One does need to approach Alibaba with an exploring mind and don't think that one quick visit will handle it all. No, you need to spend some time and get good at Alibaba. Study and compare your potential suppliers. When you have some candidates- contact them clearly, and build a relationship. Just sending in a hundred RFQ's will get you 99 sad faces, but if you send 10 intelligent requests, introducing yourself, and giving the suppliers a chance to actually engage in doing business with you, you will have more than enough qualified choices to work with.

And be real about deliveries- most suppliers on Alibaba will have at least 3 serious logistical mazes to negotiate before your goods are even on your continent- they don't control the logistics, they are consumers just like us. And then be fair with your vendor, let them sell at a reasonable price, don't make every order a crisis that needs special attention, be respectful of cultural differences llike Spring Holidays.

The quality is good, but very less memory and so many hidden charges, that actual price is double, like sirim permit and custem duty for individual buyer from academia.

Good quality and excellent service, from initial order samples and further development and test to comply with SAA standard, all very efficient, will deal again soon.

I purchased a large metal cutting saw from Unitech Machinery. The machine arrived no documentation (electric diagram or hydraulic diagram) at all. The Hydraulic pump did not work since the breaker did not function. It took 3 weeks to get a part from them after many e mails. The wires melted and again no response we finally received the electric and hydraulic plan but of course in Chineese. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CHINA ALL JUNK AS WE BY NOW KNOW. They cant even copy our product and screw it up.

Alibaba is a total scam. Received terrible inflatable boats that I ordered and the the trade assurance is of no use. They won't even respond and there is no way to contact anyone.

This place charged me money gave it to some guy they claim and during dispute the put some kinda time on it and refused to refund or even replace the worst ever wow...

Every supply company I have talked to is more than happy to try to help you or find what ever product you need. Doing business and searching the site is convenient and effective.

Like many other reicei era my first order to as my last. They sent the parcel to the wrong address. When I informed the shipper I was basically told that I had made the mistake, so I was on my own. I have a hard time believing I made the address mistake, I was so paranoid about ordering from China I was extremely careful when placing my order. I never received my product or a refund, their "delivery guarantee" has more he's than Swiss cheese. DONT BUY FROM ALIBABA.
