We needed to find a logistics partner to send our container from Shanghai to Aqaba, Jordan and found an excellent company via Alibaba. The container arrived on time and with no discrepancies in the goods.

You can find just about anything on Alibaba, and there are many vendors to sample packages from! The ordering process is very easy and the vendors response to your request is within a reasonable time.

I recently purchased 10 Linkuan Led drivers from a supplier on Alibaba. At first i was hesitant, as it was the very first time i was buying something from a foreign website. But their trade assurance feature was something which gave me a feeling of backup in case my order was not met with what i was promised by their supplier.
Under Trade assurance there is 1) Payment protection -Trade Assurance will cover all payments made during the ordering process up to 30 days after you receive the goods.
2) Product-quality protection - Your order will be covered in the event that the product(s) do not match the details outlined in your contract with the supplier.
3) Shipping protection -Your order will be shipped on time according to the details of your contract with the supplier. In the event of a delay, you will be eligible for a refund.
4) Protection period - Your order will be protected up to 30 days after you receive the goods.
So overall i am very satisfied with their service.

Alibaba has been very supportive, and the features in website like verification, inspection, gold and others, helps find a good supplier. The verification fabric helps to have a wealthy relationship with our suppliers.

Unfortunately Alibaba lost my evidence and even after send it direct to *******@service.alibaba.com it was not recognized and so I was informed that Alibaba closed the dispute because of lack of evidence from my side. Could it be more fake?

Customer service is clearly something America is known for, but China's Alibaba takes horrible customer service to a whole new level. Don't expect a single thing from them, no matter how wrong the seller is.

Supplier was unable to deliver as the shipment was returned by UK customs. So worst experience. Supplier refuse to refund or ship again. Waiting for Alibaba.com to help me with a refund. Nothing yet happened.

I'm very pleased with Alibaba and with all the nice solutions possible before setting an order.
Especially the possibility to pay through Alibaba and that they guarantee for deliverance in time or money back guarantee.

One was lost during transit but ALIBABA support do a full refund! That's very kind. Delivery time was quite fast looking from distance perspective.

I purchased a solid mahogany wood door from Fuzhou Joshua Building Products. The supplier was behind on the production time by 6 months. When they finally began to produce the product they sent photos. They used hundreds of tiny pieces of mahogany wood glued together. When it was stained it looked like butcher block, this was supposed to be a 100%solid mahogany stain grade luxury wood door. I applied for a refund and Alibaba suggested that have the product inspected. I felt that this was unnecessary because the supplier already admitted it used finger jointed wood. In order to resolve the matter I scheduled the inspection however the inspection company refused to do an inspection in that region. Alibaba then closed the case stating that they can't verify if the wood used is acceptable per the contract or not? I still haven't received any money back for the inspection I paid for. The trade assurance process takes months and ultimately it is a waste of time.

My experience with my first supplier was excellent! However, it is difficult to communicate with other suppliers. I feel ignored. I have asked for invoice. I want to buy and have to keep requesting invoice.

Alibaba is for buying usually big volumes of stuff so you need to contact a custom clearance company of the customs entry port of your country and pass the goods through customs. The custom clearance company will deliver the last leg of the transport. Alibaba like eBay for wholesalers, and is an intermediary so you should check the reviews carefully. In my case it was all good!

Product range is very impressive. This could be the largest online store i have ever come across.

However, because of the size of the product range, more work needs to be done to enhance flexibility of the site.

Very easy to find a manufacturer with quality products and fast production and shipping. Communication was prompt and clear and made the purchase a quick and easy transaction. From initial communication to receiving my products was less than 2 weeks.

I ordered items from different sellers, but more often than not (in two cases out of three) the sellers contacted me after the purchase and asked me to apply for a refund, with the reason that I no longer need the product.
Their explanation to this are vary, sometimes they say the product is out of stock, or the selected shipping method is not available, only the one takes long time, but it seems that it a common practice for them to ask the buyers to cancel their orders after the purchase had been done and the payment completed.
I do not know the reason why they do this, but I no longer trust any of the Alibaba sellers.
They might be phising for banking details, or simply offer items for such a low price that they do not want to sell and they might have the same item for higher price that they hope you buy anyway. Who knows, but they are suspicious.

Having completed my first order via Alibaba, and I can confidently say how easy and smooth the transaction was. The only time consuming part, was filtering out the suppliers to choose from. The rest was a breeze.

Initially, I was skeptic about the whole idea of buying the goods online via Alibaba, but the Trade Assurance feature was a great feature to build confidence and trust from suppliers and buyers.

Also encountered a few issues with the order fulfillment, and the refund policies and process was quick and very helpful.

Overall, the experience was quite great for a first-time. Will definitely use the platform again for my next orders.

Seller helped as much as possible.
Issues with delivery due to the battery but that was not at the fault of the seller.
Product is good quality and would purchase from again in the future.
Product could use an update from the manufacturers end by making the battery quicker to change on the "go".
