This is my 2nd completed order through Alibaba. It is easier to go through now and get what I want. Definitely must use Trade Assurance to coordinate the hurdles. Very worthwhile. Procurement, through shipping and receipt went smooth.

Once you learn from here and there, how it operates, AliBaba is just amazing. Yes, there can be pitfalls but you don't blame them, you learn and try again. It's a really great place to get anything you need with satisfaction, but you must be smart to communicate and order.

Simple to navigate and use. Login process is a bit tiresome having to wait for the authntication code to be emailed, but if you are quick with the keyboard you can enter it before the 30 seconds expires.

Don't waste your time and money on their dispute process. It was a waste of time and even though the producer admitted to at least one of the two errors alibaba said there wasn't anything they could do.

Don't know why I haven't used Alibaba.com before. I ordered a couple of led quantum boards from Kingbrite. The whole process was quite easy and I received a great product just as described and it cost almost half as much as ordering from anywhere else.

I placed an order with Taizhou Ri Da Pump Co., Ltd. through Alibaba to entertain the trade assurance coverage. Supplier has breached the contract mainly for not insuring the shipment, not providing the brokerage service at the port of entry as their forwarder agent quit due to lack of shipping documents after the shipment arrived at the entry port which resulted in shipment to seizure by customs. Alibaba has closed the order as complete as if the contract shipping terms FOB China while the shipping terms was CIF Cairo-Egypt. While the supplier is gold supplier and insured by Trade Assurance, Alibaba dispute team deny coverage and never communicated verdict of my claim.
From my experience, you should think twice before using Alibaba, never do my mistake and send any money before securing shipping and having insurance policy on hand.

Overall Alibaba provides a great service for business looking to buy in bulk. There are a lot of great companies willing to work with people outside of China and provide a great service.

I feel their message interface is awkward to navigate and needs improvement.
