Great site for product sourcing and Alibaba is doing so much to make the site better. However, I believe more should be done to protect the buyer more. Maybe they should consider some of the measures put in place on Amazon and ebay.

Although the website looks professional, the information provide per seller page needs to be accurate, right, correct etc. Price description on seller Alibaba page is sometime different from the quote they send you. I remembered to have taken a screenshot of the page sent it to seller, to highlight the price difference between what he was telling me and what written on his page. And his excuse was " Price on Alibaba page is not correct, sorry". The shipping process and offers need to be looked at.

Not all prices listed on the product page correspond to reality.
Not all sellers answer, or not everyone wants to work with the goods that are placed.
When searching for a product, I left requests to several suppliers at once not everyone answered.
Created RFQ - did not receive more than one offer.
It is difficult to navigate to the message center. There is no way to sort suppliers.

And the rest - Good Fellows! The platform is actual!

Don't buy anything from this company they are so bad. I bought wig from this company and I am so angry they sold the for me for $285 USD, I ordered 180% density but they brought me 130% density. My customer doesn't want the wig because is too thin. I left messages they read my messages but don't reply. I am asking them to give me their address so I can return but they are not replying me. Please don't buy wigs from this company. They'll sell you fake wig.

I have been using the site for awhile for my tech stuff needs and the Trade Assurance feature is something that everybody should use in paying for service and goods. It gives you the confidence to deal with sellers in the platform. Don't be ripped off again.
All my orders arrived in my opexCenter intact and complete with no damage.

Alibaba has made it very easy to navigate and purchase from suppliers with purchasing security. Alibaba has their own verification program in place which includes several levels of verification. Below is a chart that summarizes the three different levels of verification Alibaba has. These verification badges will appear on product listing and supplier profiles if they have them. Looking for these verifications is a good first step.

On its website, Alibaba claims to help if there is a dispute among us (the Buyers) and the Chinese vendors offering their services through Alibaba.com. In reality this is a huge scam. You'd almost think the vendor(s) are paying off someone to get the case closed, without resolution. Most likely, it is Alibaba itself that is closing these cases, without resolution, because they'd like the public to think they are perfect and that all of Alibaba's vendors are trustworthy companies and individuals. The truth is that we got scammed the sum of $23,000 and Alibaba did nothing to mitigate the situation. Therefore, BE CAREFUL when you buy. If possible, do not advance any monies to Chinese suppliers. It is always best to pay with Letter of Credit when the goods get delivered!

First time using Alibaba to order materials from China. Easy site to learn how to use and features make it quite fluid and intuitive. Trade Assurance is a great feature that instills customer confidence - highly recommend it!

Please stay away from this company as they are not serious and they do not care about the satisfaction of customers. They promised to send me a track belt mechanism within days and finally and after sending them tons of emails they sent it after more than a month... I agreed with them to send it door to door but what happened is that they shipped it to the airport. Currently, the worst thing is that I cannot clear the customs as they did not provide a certified invoice and they do not respond to my emails. Avoid dealing with this company. They work under the umbrella of Alibaba

We have been Gold supplier 2 yr+.
During renewal, your sales people make false commitments and seek renewal amounts.
When they don't fulfil, they commit to refund the amount.
After that, they avoid to reply.

I was at first not really sure i will get value for money and also secondly China and Zambia are thousands of not a million miles away. With such you can't really trust anyone but i would like to say after hearing Jack Ma talk about Alibaba i made a decision to try out and i am glad i did.

Alibaba contacted me as soon as I confirmed the order and I made my payment using VISA. Everything run smoothly till the goods were delivered to my home on 21 September 2019. The only delay in the process was due to Customs clearance. So I am really happy with the service!

Absolutely amazing and easy once you know you're way around alibaba.
U deffinately need to do ur research with the companies. The only thing i wish is that if there were consequences for companies that fool you into ordering huge quantity based on the sample. And then t he product is not as remotely as good as the sample. I deffinately think alibaba should have an inspection on companies that fool ppl with there unsellable products. Because ppl invest all there money trusting that they will receive sellable items. And they do that to make more money. So it can be unfair sometimes when u invest ur time and money and effort in managing a product and then u realize that all ur efforts are gone to waste.

Communication was pretty straight and order was placed quickly. The payment process was easy and the shipment was done within 2 weeks. The product has a CE label but not sure, if it can/could meet the EU standards. The product did not come with any specification or data sheet, but works as described in the offer.

My experience is here very negative.

Ad and what I received look nothing alike. The seller accused me of changing the wig to file a dispute. The seller refused to return my money and I had to file a dispute with my bank to retrieve my money back.

These guys are a bunch of idiots. I paid $42 for a fleece jacket. Good looking product. I make over six figures income of and would have bought more. And these morons want to fleece me. Tracking web site that doesn't work. And disputes website that won't open. Please! Stick to Amazon and ignore these morons

This is my first experience ordering through Alibaba. There was poor communication between Alibaba, my company and the supplier which made the process of getting the products to us on time slow. I would recommend that Alibaba play a bigger role in the beginning of the process and the end being that they have better communicators.

This was our first order placed with Alibaba. We were very pleased with the order itself. Everything went very smoothly. My only recommendation for Alibaba is to make the app easier to navigate. It gets very confusing. It is confusing knowing how to contact people directly. There are too many people soliciting you from other companies.

I recommend this company, its a group of young people are full of energy and have high professional skills to find to you the right product you are looking for with the best quality and the cheaper price.

Alibaba is a complete waste of time when you have a problem. They take a fee for what you buy but do not even bother to respond when you have an issue. The help system is dreadful and it sends you round and round in circles, making it impossible to contact a person. I eventually different ways of trying to contact a person at Alibaba and not once did I get a response.
