Run for your life if you thinking of purchasing anything from the AM UseD car auto part. I purchased an engine from this people. They lied to me and sold me a defect angine. When I called to file a claim to return it. They requested I do a diagnostic test before the can file the claim. After 6 months of installation the engine, it drain all the engine oil every week. They gave me hell. I don't have money for any diagnostic test. When I purchased it, they never mention I have to do any diagnostic test if it doesn't work. Now I'm stacked with a defect engine and lost $2299. My heart is aching and broken from during business with the scam company. Please stayed away from them.

The sales person will tell YOU anything. I needed a transmission,. They do not test them. I received 2 Transmissions One was just as bad as the frist one. I spent over $ v2500. Alone in Labor cost plus the Transmission.
WARRANTY, no much thing...I did everything ask for, and they kept asking me for more. They wanted to to take the transmission out of the auto, then put in on a shipping pallet and ship it back to them ( probably would cost me over $ 1000. Then they would look at it.
I have never wrote a review on a company.
They are all liars, they will give you a run around and will not stand behind they words or WARRANTY.

Purchased a used engine for my Jaguar ($6950.00) that was represented as having been previously tested and run. Received the junk yard engine and drained the pan only to discover 2 quarts of water and oil. Ran a static compression test and found two adjacent cylinders reading 22 and 67. Obviously consistent with blown head gasket or cracked cylinder. Could not have been tested or operated. To "qualify" for any refund I was required to install over $500.00 of new parts. This of course made no sense at all. Personnel were evasive and inconsistent. Threatened a law suit and got my money back. They would not reimburse me for the new parts. So out labor (had to remove original engine and transmission, then install and remove their piece of garbage as well as time lost, car rental etc. if you look up "used auto parts scammer" in the dictionary you will see their picture. If it were possible to rate them lower, I would.
I just wanted to add what rip off AM used Auto Parts is to do business with. Please don't make the mistake I did. I spent 3.200 in parts labor and the bad transmission I got from AM Used Auto Parts. They have had 163 complaints to Better Business Bureau in Florida and rated F. This business is nothing but a nightmare. They refused to refund my money for a bad transmission they sent me and charged me to send it back to them. If you do business with them you will regret it 💯
I purchased a transmission from AM used Auto Parts for 1.595.00 and it was shipped to my mechanic and the transmission was bad would not shift. I contacted AM and done everything they required, sent receipts of parts replaced and then pictures of all the parts. They had me ship the transmission back at my expense arranged by them at 440.00. They claimed the transmission was damaged and would not refund my money to contact the carrier to file a claim. I contacted the carrier and was told I could not file a claim because my name was not on it that AM would have to file the claim and also that it was signed for when received that it was good. I contacted AM and told them about this and was told they would contact me the next day. But have not heard a word from them. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau in Florida and was told they had 163 complaints on AM Used Auto Parts and was rated F and would do everything they could. My son also bought a transmission from them around the the time and it was bad when he received it. This is the worst company you could possibly do business with they are nothing but rip offs and will do everything imaginable to keep from refunding your money. If you do business with them it will be the biggest mistake of your life
Don't believe it when these guys say free shipping. Their 1st scam is they will only deliver to a business, not your home. So, I had it set up to be delivered at my job. Their 2nd scam was the place I work was considered "rural", so there would be a $250.00 charge for shipping. I may live and work in a small town, but there is a state highway less than two blocks from where I work. I didn't see any small print, nor did the salesman say that "free shipping" came with conditions that they can come up with after you pay for the part. So, you can't not pay for the shipping, or you have to pay a $400.00 " replacement fee", whatever that is. Tracking the shipping; it got from Florida to California in three days, but sat in a town, not 150 miles from me for 10 days. I finally have this transmission and can only hope that it works. I'll have an update to see how it works out.
I got ripped off from this company and it looks like at least 111 other people on this website did as well. I left a review with pictures on Google but for some reason only I can see it at the moment. If any of you are interested in jumping on the wagon for a class action lawsuit, please contact me. That way we can get this shut down for good. And no more people get ripped off by this company. These are so of the pictures of the motor they told me that was tried and tested before it was sent out. YEAH RIGHT! And any of the 5 star reviews that they have are from a company that they paid to do so!
They shipped used transmission with a missing part that they said was attached. Brian told me to ship back and he would refund. They refused the shipment due to the missing part. Bryan knew the part was missing when he told me to ship back for refund. They didn't accept the shipment. Then the transmission was shipped to some storage area and no one could locate for few days. So many different stories they give. Save your money and shop somewhere else. They never back their warranty. Read other reviews which show very poor rating. Scam... Most folks are not satisfied
With a rating that low should tell you everything you need to know about this company. Stay away and save yourself some money. Most of there parts are from a junk yard and is junk. Nothing tested. Brian always say in his replies that he is sorry you bought a no good part but nothing is guaranteed on used parts. But remember they suppose to test all parts before shipping. And who gives a 3 year warranty on junk parts. Fake warranty.
I purchased a transmission advertised as having 36,000 miles with a 3 year warranty and having been run tested before shipping. My mechanic pointed out to me that the transmission was all rusted and the shipping tagged made no mention of 36,000 miles, but listed the "condition" as 112,000. They tried to tell me that that was the lot #! I contested the charge with my bank and after almost 3 months I won the case and got my $800.00 back!

AM Auto was given the info they requested( year, make, model and VIN), to make sure right part was sent. So them saying it was my fault in ordering is BS. They had all info they requested. If AM Auto was a respectable company, they would assume a little bit of screw up instead of saying they did nothing wrong, that it was all the customer fault. If no stars was available that would be their rating
Order transmission ($1600). Received wrong transmission. Had to pay shipping fee to return transmission($329). Sent refund check which they told us was for $1600. Received refund check for $980. They still charged $320 restocking fee and $300 original shipping fee. Never acknowledged that they sent the wrong transmission. They said they could not give me the VIN of the truck that transmission came out of.
Terrible customer service and Wayne in warranty dept. was not helpful or truthful.
I see you are asking for proof of purchase. Never received papers of any kind( purchase or return). Do have refund check if that helps.
They charge you 20%restocking fee for a supposed to be low mile motor with broken timing guides and cam phasers after you pay for returning the motor. They set up to profit rather you get a bad product or not. Wish I never had reached out to them. It took 4 months to resolve this issue and I still got robbed.they don't deserve a star.
I am a completely satisfied customer. I took a chance and bought a used transmission online, which is the biggest purchase I have ever bought in this manner. It arrived at the transmission repair shop in excellent condition. The owner asked me where'd I find the transmission because it appeared to be brand new. It was clean and wrapped very securely for shipping. It was the most expensive purchase I had ever made online. I felt at ease since it came with a two year warranty and all parts are quality tested. I would recommend AM used auto parts to recieve quality used parts which are in excellent condition.
DO NOT BUY ANTHING FROM THESE GUYS NOTHING BUT CROOKS! TOLD ME ENGINE WAS 84K MILES BUT INSTEAD IT HAS 266 AND ITS KNOCKING! WONT ANSWER AND PROVIDE REFUND> THEY SAY ONE THING THIS DAY AND THE NEXT ANOTHER

I sent a request over 2 weeks ago for a use engine and I received a quote pretty quickly at decent price for a engine that only 51k Miles! But, Not a single answers after 3 times phone calls and 4 Emails when I asked for the vin number to make sure about the miles on this Land Rover Engine!
This Company is Not Serious beware before to make any decisions buying online not sure about the Honesty. I'm very disappointed with them!
Bought a transmission from them that was supposedly tested and had a 3 year warranty.
Upon installing the thing didn't work. They asked for error codes which I sent. Then they told me it took more than 15 days for the installation so there is nothing they can do.
Their site errors when you give a bad review, then won't let you try again. That explains all the reviews only being good ones. Cost me over $1000 more than planned due to rust, stripped and broken off bolts. All I was able to use is the block and even that required a lot more money and work. Don't trust their pictures. Also shipping was support be 7-10 days. It took a month. Never again.
Buy anywhere else, but from them. You will be better off no matter how much you have to spend. They sent me a motor that was rusted through the oil pan and valve covers, it looked like it was setting underwater for several years. William told me he would stand by the warranty and take care of. What he meant was take my money and stand by all the loopholes and catches that work for them. They are nothing more than thieves.
Bought a used transmission with a supposed 3 year warranty and supposedly fully inspected. I came in and third gear went almost to the dash. It still ran, so I decided to live with that. After a month, third was like neutral. A week after that it went into reverse and would not come out.
I called (customer support mailbox is ALWAYS full and not accepting calls. I emailed. Never a response.
The State of Florida Attorney General really needs to look into this outfit.
Very easy and smooth transaction. These guys knew exactly what was needed and came through in time! The Engine purchased was delivered safely and quickly, and has performed as well as could ever be expected since the installation. If I'm ever looking again, this place will be my first call. Very good experience. The sales representative was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions knowledgeably. I was very pleased with the price. They was very helpful easy to deal with they pulled the number an new exactly what I was looking for.
I bought a rebuilt engine from them. It was missing parts, had a vacuum leak from improper silicon seal, damaged valve cover and no oil filter housing. They told me "to pull the missing parts from the old engine." The old engine caught on fire, so that is a little difficult. Told me the rest was not covered under warranty. When I wanted to ship it back for a refund they told me I would have to arrange everything, in which case the shipping was more expensive then the engine was worth. SCAM!
Ordered and paid $1770 for a used transmission with supposedly 55,000 miles. It took close to 2 months for delivery. When transmission showed up my mechanic said no way does this only have 55,000 miles. After installing suspicions were confirmed. Trash transmission. Worse than the one that gave out on me. Don't use ever.

But you agreed to keep it and receive half of the repair cost which was five hundred and seventy-five dollars. Which we sent to you on June 13th. As for the transit times, we clearly state in the warranty that they are not guaranteed. With all orders we quote 7 to 14 business days from order confirmation. You confirmed your order May 12th, and your part was delivered on the 25th. We also refund the cost of lift gate service. You have continued to repost your review on google. If there is something else we can do for you, you can always call us.
