I ordered a simple electronic gift voucher for my son's birthday. It was never received. Asos never contacted me at all in any way to let me know they ran into a supposed problem with PayPal. I contacted them three different times using their online chat and nobody could find an answer as to why my son never received his gift. Be wary of this company!
ASOS onsistently ships incorrect items and never follows up or corrects the issues. Customer service is nearly impossible to reach and they are completely unhelpful when you finally do reach them. Shipping times are wildly inconsistent.
I used to buy from them 2-3 years ago. Packages arrived quickly - within 5 days. Nowadays the parcels arrive in 14 days or they don't arrived at all... The prices for well known brands are expensive in the season, you can find bargains within the sales. Products sold under their own brand are of very low quality. I am not a fan...
I ordered a maternity dress and top for my first night away with my husband since our daughter was born 16 months ago. The order arrived 2 days later than expected (too late for our date). I was still excited to receive the package but turns out they sent me the wrong dress and the shirt was in the wrong size! Customer service has offered nothing except to "get back to me" within 10 days? I'm returning them today, but from reading other reviews I'm worried I won't be getting my money back anytime soon.
I made a purchase and had to change it and re purchase the same items over again this left money in my account being held 14 days past the purchase for the same order twice and was not able to gain access to the funds at all until the 14 ASOS did nothing to assist me in resolving this issue. I will not ever make another purchase from them it was over a 250.00 purchase so having my find tied up unavailable to me for 14 was beyond an inconvenience. Moving forward in the future I'll purchase from a company with better customer service that will work with me to resolve any such issues in the future
I returned 2 out of 4 items in March and since then I havent received money. They confirmed they got the products and they accepted the return but then they sent me like 50 emails saying that they have a delay. It has been 10 months. No human person has contacted me or tried to explain this frod, I got replies only from bots. Please never buy at asos, as they just cheat customers
Ordered 2 dresses but only got refund for one. No answers on my emails regarding this. Now I see that many people have similar complaints. Apparently Asos has a lot of problems but it seems that instead of solving it they just make it our problem.
I've done four separate orders from Asos online. I usually order 10-15 items, expecting to send back about half. They have always arrived promptly and my refunds have always been processed quickly. This gives me the confidence to order in two sizes to find the item right for me as sizes can differ between different types of clothing
If you ever have a problem with refunds or missing shipments, God help you because Customer Service won't. It simply doesn't exist:
- Emails addressed to *******@asos.com bounce back
- There is no telephone contact listed anywhere
- The so-called Help portal on site addresses only the most typical problems: if your problem isn't listed, you have no way to communicate with Asos.
OCT 2014:
- I am still vainly trying to receive a refund for €138... for an order made in May.
- I haven't received another order but cannot learn why, or where it is.
- I have just discovered a Paypal payment to Asos for an amount that doesn't correspond to any order.
Customer service is non existent.They charge you for shipping and returns, I was charged over half of what my order was in duties? No response from customer service at all regarding garbage quality of a $250 dress. So very disappointed and I will absolutely not be ordering from here again. Don't waste your money!

Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.

Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
