Bought a sweater and a cardigan, frankly the price was very cheap and the pictures looked good. The actual items received were good, but they don't last. The sweater lost its shape after one wash, and the cardigan seems to be polyester, which easily gets static electricity.
Bought a pair of Dr Marten shoes which are supposed to be one of the best for leather and longevity. When the shoes arrived they were farrrrr from new! They were battered! They had clearly been worn for several weeks and returned or worn by an ASOS member of staff that decided to exchange their battered pair for my new pair upon dispatch! I have attached photos as the shoes' battered state on delivery have to be seen to be believed! AVOID this company, they no longer care about their customers.
Couldn't return faulty shoes. Stitching coming out of the shoes. None of them fit. They sent me the wrong size on one of them and gave me trouble because of "final sale" um if the stuff doesn't fit and you sent the wrong size then I should be able to return it. They ended up giving me a refund but then charged me 10 for the discount I had. But that was off equally from 4 items, not the two I was able to take back.
So I'm going to see about a charge back and will never do business with them again. It's a scam.

I bought a dress on the site which was too small so I re packaged it in the free returns bag etc, sent it back to them and never got a refund or anything from them! I got in contact with them and they said they never received anything! My friend told me this has happened to her before also, and they had taken money from her account and never sent any items of clothing she bought either! She got in contact with them and they said it's not there issue and my friend can sort it out with the bank because they're not refunding her anything!
I two lots of parcels and I had to return bits from both packages, when I went on the FAQ it said you could do combined returns so I did. I got my email to say they'd received some of the stuff but not the other. After 25 minutes on live chat with the consultant just referring me to the online FAQs which I was aware had changes since I had read it, but the parcel has already gone? I got told someone would be in touch in 48 hours, and yet still not heard anything back. It's alright changing stuff on the website, but at least send an email or make people aware? You can't just rely on them checking the FAQ all the time.
This is one of the worst online shopping experiences. The site works great but once an order is submitted there is no promise it will be accepted and processed.
Later in the day after submitting my order in which I paid expedited delivery. I received an email saying my order was canceled. I was asked for a copy of my ID and credit card statement to confirm my identity. I immediately supplied this information (I assure you it is legitimate and had no discrepancies). 24 hours later I received an email that my account is canceled and any attempt order would not be accepted. There is no phone number to call and the customer service team chooses which emails they want to respond to.
Placed both second and third order at the same time, except chose different shipping options for both orders (standard vs expedite). Expedite order arrived ahead of schedule with great tracking info (stellar experience). The standard shipping order still has not arrived and has completely useless tracking info. The only info I've been given for the standard package is "left ASOS", which has been at that status for almost a full month. At this point I don't know if standard package will ever arrive. ASOS is great when you pay the extra shipping cost but is a nightmare when you opt for standard. Ordered from Canada btw.
Decided to go with ASOS for my first online clothing purchase, and I have to say I'm very pleased. I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews about shipping errors and customer service problems but decided to give them a try anyways. Because of the shipping complaints I saw online, I decided to pay the extra $15 for an expedited arrival. I was given a working tracking code and the package arrived on the date scheduled. I bought 4 items, 2 of which were ASOS brand, and all of them matched the website displayed item descriptions and appearances. Quality=price paid. I may have gotten lucky with the sizes although I did go on YouTube and watched a few ASOS haul videos to get an idea of how the sizing would fit prior to purchase. A tip I would give any first time ASOS shoppers is to do some research to help with sizing(YouTube and ASOS instagram models) and don't be scared to pay the extra $15 expedited shipping, for all I know that may be the reason I did not encounter any shipping problems. Will definitely be using the site again and will update my review accordingly.
Asos is amazing. I have been ordering from here for over 5 years granted the stuff was better then, but if you search right you find good quality for good prices. Their delivery is always on the time specifies and £9.95 for a years free next day delivery is genius I wish all onlineshops were so easy and convenient
This company has TERRIBLE customer service. The clothing they sell is mediocre at best. Returns are extremely difficult. They say returns are free in the US, but do not specify that you MUST return through UPS. I'm a US military member stationed at a US base overseas. The items I purchased took 2 whole months to arrive, then they had the audacity to make me jump through hoops for a return label, only to be told I'd have to pay for the return since I don't have access to a UPS. I'm sure this large company gets even richer by this sleazy business scheme. I will never purchase from this retailer again.

Although I am not fond of writing reviews, my recent purchase of two dresses compelled me to express my dissatisfaction. This was my initial experience of writing a review as the product turned out to be of poor quality. To avail free delivery, I purchased two dresses but was still charged fees upon their delivery. The worst part was when I discovered that the dresses were of such poor quality that I had to return them. Even the return process incurred fees, resulting in a significant loss of money for me.
I've ordered some clothes from ASOS since the beginning of the year and the end of last year. I had to send a couple of clothing items back to them which is an easy process with returns, but the refund process was horrible! I never received the refunds for both clothing items. Communication is terrible. I do not recommend doing business with ASOS!
I order my items month ago and the mission it will arrive in 28 days. Now I am month.no track numbern nothing about my items. After the third complain massage. The answer my. Wait one month's more, and try ask your neighbor if he get by mistake
I rated ASOS with one star cause there wasn't an option for -0 star.
I recently purchased a pair of $54.00 shoes, and was also charged $15.00 delivery fee for a total of $69.00. I live in Canada, the shoes came from the US.
I received a notice from Canada Post that the ASOS package arrived and an $18.80 charge needed to be paid when I pick up the shoes.
The charge was "COD" according to a little slip of paper stuck to the packaging. Not duty. Lame.
The shoes didn't fit properly, and in order to return them I find out I have to pay a $22.40 shipping fee to ASOS before they will print out my return Canada Post shipping label.
Someday I will likely get the $54.00 shoe cost refunded on my visa. Meantime I have paid more in fees than for the shoes that don't fit. $15 + $18 + $22 = $55 in FEES... not cool. NEVER again ASOS. You are a rip off.
Tip for consumers:
Do not shop at ASOS. Period. Quality isnt great but their shipping fees are extreme.
Talking to their support reps to try and resolve something is as about as useful as talking to a basic chatbot.--they keep repeating the same thing without any thought process whatsoever. There is a reason why their support hide behind live chats. They can't resolve anything. They can't seem to read or understand what your are asking them either. The manager for support refuses to talk to annoyed clients and lets the support staff with comprehension issues waste the customer's (or former customer's) time
Tip for consumers:
Related to an awful partner site of ASOS-Air NZ Airpoints

TOTAL SCAM! Do not buy from them. I have returned some items and they refund me 0.64 dhs instead of their actual value (about 400 dhs) saying that the stuff i bought were under promotion voucher and now i am not eligible anymore so they will take the voucher back. So basically made me return the items for free! Watch out from their terms and conditions, they make it sneaky so they rip you off. Also they never notified me when the items got hold off at the airport customs and i had to pay extra to get it. What a loss! Soooo not worth it!
I order this dress, it was $227.00. Postal to Canada was $65 COD! The dress arrived and wasn't the quality I expected. The picture looks to be lined but it wasn't. The material is not was I expected. When returning I had to pay $23 to ship back. That's $88 in shipping. Why if I can return for $23 why wasn't the COD $23?
I've order other items from Asos which were good but I can't afford that kind of shipping expense. Never again.
I made an online purchase and wanted to return the merchandise because their stuff runs small. However since I paid with Paypal, I only received an invoice number and in order to return you need an ORDER number. ASOS has no contact number so be forewarned! There is no one you can talk to and their live chat really isn't a live person, it's all automated. So I've opened a dispute with Paypal. In the meantime, the clock has ticked away and i'm now over the 28-day refund policy timeframe. Don't shop at ASOS!
A problem receiving an order, as an item I'd ordered was not enclosed. However, there was an item that I've not ordered that was. Now you would've thought this wasn't too challenging and wouldn't create too many problems. Unfortunately, after dealing with three people over a period of two hours, I accepted defeat and embrace the fact that I was dealing with people that either didn't care or were too stupid to understand.
The company advised they have no complaints policy or procedure or email address, and by all accounts, no brains or intelligence.
There is a reason this company is in the financial mess that it is. The sad thing is the awful people they have working with it will go onto work elsewhere, so we will all have to deal with those people at some point in the future.

Ordered gift, received completely wrong item. Embarrassing but recipient had to return day received. ASOS received return 4/23/21 and multiple requests via ASOS chats 30 minutes at a time and 5/12/21 status " still processing " will update you when done

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes received wrong color, style brand and size?! No explanation No customer service just online chat response every time “ still processing “ 2 months later ...
I never got a confirmation email for my purchase so I contacted customer support. They asked me the same 5 questions over and over again each time they replied to my email. Then they asked me to provide my order number, which I didn't ever get and also the reason I reached out in the first place. Then my package arrives, 5/6 items I want to return because they fit weird and are cheaply made. There was no order or return slip in my package and now I want to return the items but can't because once again I have no order number! These people give you the run around, I asked for a phone number I could call to directly speak to someone and they won't give it to me. Absolute worst experience I've had online shopping.
A fraudster has used my card on Asos website. Very disappointing they would allow somebody else to register different person credit card and have goods delivered to them. When I called customer service I have received assurance that they would email / call me back and advise how to proceed and let me know who was using my details. I got the call back from Unknown number and guy on the other line advised me that they know who used my card, however because of the Data Protection Act they cannot tell me who the fraudster is! Unbelievable that they protect the fraudsters and not people who are the victims.
TERRIBLE customer service...
In their mind, service = online-only chat where they repeat canned responses about how they cant help you until you give up.
Asked for a phone number (they don't have one) or for them to call me and they said it could take up to 11 DAYS!
Worst ever.
I could wax rhapsodic and go on and on about this retailer. They offer clothing, accessories, and the like for men and women; they get new inventory everyday and for a nominal price annually, they offer expedited 2 day shipping world-wide. Their prices are competitive, and customer service responsive, courteous, and awesome:-)
Tip for consumers:
Watch out for their phenomenal coupon codes
I asked customer service about a specific shirt and was promised it would work with cufflinks.
The shirt arrived late and definitely does not work with cufflinks.
Product info is vital if you work in customer service - especially if you're claiming to sell more high end dress clothes for men. $100 for a shirt that isn't customizable isn't acceptable.
I bought it because I was promised it was what I needed - and you guys didn't deliver - please up your game on product information when asked by customer.
I ordered a few items from the Asos Germany site and very soon after submitting the order i realised that the delivery address was incorrect. I contacted ASOS immediately to see if this could be rectified but they told me that it was too late and that i also couldn't cancel the order! Appalling customer service and return policies, i have never heard of such nonsense!
I have placed an order with ASOS with next day delivery (which was for free because the order was over 150 pounds). In the confirmation email it states that order was due to be sent as standard delivery. I cancelled the order, placed it once again and made sure I have selected the delivery option I wanted. The confirmation email showed as before that delivery was standard. I sent several emails to the customer service and called them a few times. No luck with the callings... I have waited for more than 40 minutes once! Email were conflicting. A guy called M* and a lady called C* said the order was replaced and due to be sent as next day delivery. Others told me that that was not an option. Frustrating having conflicting answer. At the end the order was sent as standard delivery and I had to sent it back, ´cause I do not need it anymore. I have been an ASOS customer for years. Not anymore. If someone knows how I can permanently delete my account it would be appreciate
Ordered a dress for a wedding off ASOS. Specifically ordered the dress and shoes from them because they offered free 2 day shipping if you spent a certain amount, and I needed it by the end of the week. In the checkout it even gave me my estimated arrival day on a Tuesday.
Tuesday rolls around and I receive an email that it has "shipped" and wouldn't arrive for another week, after the event.
I contacted customer service who essentially asked me if I had any "proof" of the promotion. I said no, I didn't screenshot it because I didn't anticipate it, and that's not my responsibility. They essentially said since I didn't have any proof, that I could return it when it arrived if I didn't want it. Worst customer service ever. What kind of company asks for "proof" of promotions they offer?
If you ask me that's a scam to entice customers.
