AT&T Inc. is an American multinational telecommunications corporation, headquartered at Whitacre Tower in downtown Dallas, Texas. This company has to provide the information about the companies. I've had At&t for many years. I'm still on their unlimited data plan. I moved and it's now been almost 4 months and still no service.
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
After 6 months of being on the phone with atnt, every month for at least 45 minutes each time, they refuse to credit my account for a trade in they say they never received. Last month they told me they have the trade in and that my account is credited $400. They even gave me a reference number for proof. This billing cycle there is no credit showing. Their final claim is that they do not keep tracking numbers in their system for returned items. And as for the reference number for proof of the credit, "they understand my frustration but there's nothing they can do" That sounds convenient for atnt. So the conclusion is that atnt wins. And I'm out a $400 credit. Thus the reason I titled this review, Lip Service.

We included wireless recently and they are charging me $345 for only 3 phones. This is incorrect as they told me it would be for $145. Directv also increased from $80 to $125 since I made the change of including another service. Also, they combined all services into one invoice which I NEVER agreed to, but this is obviously easier for them. I have called multiple times and they still have not fixed the invoice. They recently charged my credit card for $708! This is for 3 phones, internet, and Directv - it is outrageous! Terrible service and worst company to work with. Everyone working there is incompetent and tells us that they will call later but never do. I have talked with Lea, Edgar, Jessica (Employee # CR408V), Natalie, among many others. I also just received an invoice for the internet AGAIN since that is included in the erroneous $708 that they just charged me.
Terrible from every aspect of the service. Will never use this company for anything! Unprofessional call takers and service men. They don't respect people's property and make promises they aren't willing to keep.
Do not trust any promotion by at &t. I have been with t mobile for fourteen years. I met a promion agent at Fred Mayer and told me i will get the same service with less monthly bill. I have trusted him and signed the promotion. But my bill went up by over 100$. Every time i call they tell ro wait for next bill.the payment is increasing against their promise. So I advice every one not to trust their promotions.
This AT&T is not the 'good mother Bell' that I worked for! I called to question my October bill because a promotional plan was removed without any notice. They back billed me a month, plus billed the current month. So the rep must have had a bad morning and the answer was to disconnect my entire AT&T service bundle. But then they also billed me for 27 more days in the billing cycle ahead because they don't prorate your charges from the time they disconnect until the end of the billing period. I would never recommend AT&T to anyone ever! Worst service!
I went to a store. Had to wait in my car (understandable) due to the current climate.
The rep was kinda rude. And took over an hour to help me. He never asked me for what plan i wanted or anything.
I was activating an e sim(dual sim) on my iPhone X max unlocked.
This fool gave me the highest plan WITH INSURANCE. How do you get insurance on a phone that's already yours? Not to mention i have Apple care and insurance on it already with my primary carrier!
Then when i asked him to switch my plan i didn't want the highest one he got upset.
He submitted my port request wrong. And deleted my recent call history and didn't even tell me i would have an activation fee!
Which was free online!
Not to mention that he created a PIN number and i don't know what it is!
Horrible experience for y'all to take advantage of ppl like this. This wouldn't of happened if i was able to go inside! So that shows me y'all are taking advantage of the situation!
1. Requires an extra payment monthly due to some autopay bug
2. Ridiculously slow internet
3. Constantly takes me to some website extorting money
4. Unable to turn autopay back on because site license is out of date
As a single parent not happy! This is how my driveway was left, because you need to add lines. Really! So I guess I need Attorney, anyone know a good attorney. Please know this is what AT&T is doing to someone personal land.
On June 17,2020, I was trying to resolve a billing issue. I am a first responder and applied for the first responder discount when purchasing a new phone and adding a line back in April. The discount was not applied, a representative sent me a link to re-apply, which I did. The discount still has not been applied. I refuse to pay my bill because it is incorrect.
When trying to resolve this issue, that is AT&T's fault, supervisor Crystal did not help at all. She was disrespectful in several aspects. Calling me by my first name after every sentence, being sarcastic in responses, making me feel less than, and making condescending remarks. Being a customer for 18 years this is discouraging and unfortunate. To have someone that horrible be a supervisor for customer service is unbelievable. This phone call was so upsetting I am looking for a new company to provide mobile and internet service for my entire household.
You know I have had Att service for almost 2 years and it seems as though the bill keeps going up! I got on a contract with these leaches and I when my bill would've been a little over a hundred dollars now it is coming to 200 a month! Not to mention I also have cell phone service with this company. You'd think because this is during a pandemic they wouldn't fluctuate the bills because now it seems every month they are draining me dry. As soon as I find a different company I will cut all ties with these leaches! Beware! They will take your utility money, your money for food, gas, and whatever else you have just do they can get paid for their over priced service!
We were promised 3 - $250 gift cards totaling $750 to switch to AT&T. After never getting them I tried to contact the AT&T rep that came to our house and promised them and he had quit and went to work elsewhere. The customer service number he gave us to check the status just kept transferring us from one place to another and we never were able to get a live person after weeks of attempts, We are now out $750 with no answers from AT&T. Now they've closed that dept. There goes $750 we counted on for bills out the window based on a false promise. They also promised our 3 phones were 100% free for switching and now we are finding out that was not true either. I've honestly never felt more taken advantage of and helpless. They should be ashamed of themselves. The only positive was the associates at the Jefferson Rd location were very professional and polite even through an uncomfortable conversation but they could not help either.
My son passed away. He was on my family plan. I called to cancel his phone service, but they want me to pay $1300 for his phone before they will let me cancel his service. No sympathy or empathy. No "I'm so sorry about your son". NOTHING. I just paid for his funeral. I don't have the money to pay for a phone that is no longer being used. It's so inhumane and unkind to make families continue to pay for phone service of a dead loved one.

I call At&T every month and tell them I have received 2 bills. They tell me they have canceled my old DSL service. Today I have been put through to 5 different people trying to get the issue resolved. Plus last week my cable went out. They outsource to contract labor who are not trained. Do yourself a favor and go with Charter. I sure wish I had.
Returned a phone and said I never did my bill is now at 1500 wvwn sent receipt proving phone was sent. I have talked to many customer service agents and no one is of having help sad company don't get there services.
My Internet went down, so I called customer support. They diagnose issue via online and can figure out what was wrong with my Internet. They said they would send a technician out at their convenient times. I told him I have a normal 9 to 5 job and I can make any of those times if they could make an exception send somebody out and they said they can help me. I asked for a supervisor and the supervisor declined to get on the phone. They said that he would call me back in half hour which he never did. No willingness to help me. Agents are unknowledgeable and rude. I don't recommend AT&T.
Horrible. I started internet in October of 2022. As of today, I still have unburied cable and an open culvert on my property - this has been going on since Thanksgiving when some one cut the cable and it had to be relaid. I have called several times; 3 times this month and got transferred 4-5 times. Today they tell me the department I have to talk to is off on weekends.
I have switched to Spectrum - awesome service, quick, and very short cable from house to box.
I cancelled my ATT and of course they don't cancel in the middle of the cycle for a prorated cost so I am losing 2 weeks I paid for but at this point it is just something else to add to my dissatisfaction list. If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. On my last move, it took 4 months to get it right. Ridiculous.

I cancelled my internet and they won't prorate so I am stuck paying for the remaining 2 weeks; I should have planned for the switch however there is no reason why they couldn't cancel and prorate. I have 7 phones and 2 watches on their wireless plan; between that and my internet, they get 525 a month from me and have for several years now. I think giving me two weeks of internet fees back is not unreasonable.
Avoid At&t at all costs! Horrible customer service, no follow through, they give excuses non stop. Just avoid them. No one in their customer service department speaks English so good luck trying to explain any of your issues to them.
Never in any of my years have I ever dealt with a phone carrier that has zero customer service zero lack of respect for their customers. We have only been customers with AT&T for five months since then it has been pure hell and chaos. We should've stayed with T-Mobile.
The customer service representatives were absolutely no help. If you're looking for answers are great service stay the hell away from AT&T. I wouldn't recommend this company for the dead. Now I have to figure out how to hell to break out of this contract. I am so disappointed.
We have the AT&T 5G in home, wireless internet and television service. It is a total waste of money. All we get most of the time when we are trying to watch a program or movie is the blue circle of death. Around and around it goes while the picture freezes for up to 5 minutes. And this happens every minute or so, often sooner. I cannot say I hate this service with any more venom than this. I can't wait for Comcast to become available where we live and AT&T will be history.
Customer service is not capable of providing the correct information nor are they able to help resolve any situation. Do not waste your time contacting them, they will transfer you 9 times and still not be able to assist you!
I don't bundle my internet or cable, just use AT&T for my iPhone. I have no complaints whatsoever. I am annoyed with the nearly constant stream of offers that come in the mail to bundle. It's a waste of paper.
Takes too long to report problem and they want you to go through and try and fix. Totally a joke. This review will mean nothing but maybe it will resinate with someone. My parents are 99 and 94 and they actually wanted them to try and go through process and fix. Sent technician out and he said was fixed, well not so. Waiting until next week for another tech to come out. Ha

But they are very good if you are late with payment they will call you every hour. Definitely living this provider.
All cellular service was lost in my area. My wife has Verizon heard her service was restored. My AT&T service has not been restored. I cannot reach customer service. I keep getting the runaround. Your phone trading service is unethical and that if I don't complete my 36 months they will not apply the trade in value for my iPhone 11 to my purchase of the of the iPhone 13 pro. Terrible, I made a mistake switching to them as possible. I will dump them.
I started service with them almost a year ago, wireless and internet. The amount keeps going up and dont try to trade in your phone, they wont let you unless its paid off. Why offer upgrades if you have to pay in full first? They say not to use the apps to upgrade bc it doesnt recognize that you dont have to pay in full and offers cheaper monthly rates but when you call they wont honor it. I can be home using my cell with wifi and have all 4/5 bars and it will say my connection is unstable. Def not worth the time or money.
