Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
When I started AT&T, the man on the phone stated $52.00 per month, which included a $7.00 monthly service fee, They have been charging me $67.00 per month with no reasonable explanation, I had an issue with service the first day I received the modem, so I called and a technician came and fixed the issue. I was told that my billing would not start till I could use my service, which was seven days after I had received the modem. The continual charge me from when I received the modem, not when I received the service. I still have not be able to get them to correct these issues. So I will be moving on one my year is up!

Before taking a recent Disney Cruise I called At&T and explained to a gentleman that was helping me I was going on a cruise and wanted use of my phone. He told me they had a $100 fee for unlimited text, calls and data and this would last me thru the dates of my cruise. When I received my bill, I had $232 of "overage data" charged to my account. I called twice and the most I could get the bill reduced was $109. I was absolutely, 100% told a different tale when I purchased the "cruise package". I was very bothered by the lack of ownership of their mistake. Research this subject well before you go out the country or on a cruise!

This company made me transfer from another provider selling me promotion that did not work. At first they were promising that it will kick in after three billing cycles but then told me that I did not qualified for the promo and I should pay the full price. They don't provide you with a written contract, they don't even have an email to contact them. Every time I called a rep would invent some unheard bull$#*! why I need to pay the amount which they overcharged me. Also when I went abroad they charged me everyday $10 but they weren't suppose to as the claim was its only when you use the phone you pay $10 for 24h but after if you don't use it - you don't pay. No-no. This company literally lies to you and you have no proof of what they said.

Make sure you read the fin print before you upgrade.I turned in my $900.dollar phone and I got a Tex saying that I was getting the full amount for my phone because it was in excellent condition so I got my upgrade phone and 2 /12 months went by and I found out I got $150. For my iPhone 11 Pro and Att would not give me any credit back said it was because I didn't have unlimited. I feel I was scammed and now I'm paying $900. All over again.

I phoned on Tuesday to disconnect DirectTV and ATT Internet service after many years of being a customer. I was told I had to speak to Customer Loyalty. #2 call: I was then convinced to "suspend" for my vaca/business venture. I agreed. He said he suspended DirectTV (after 45 minutes on phone) but I had to call back in 48 hrs to suspend Internet. #3 48 hrs later (today): 2 hours and 25 minutes! Not a single thing was accomplished. I finally lost it. Not a single thing was done from a woman in customer loyalty dept except for 30+ apologies. She was useless. For all that call, she was waiting for help from a manager. I was losing it. I finally had to hang up. THE WORST. THE VERY WORST!

Signed up for free phone. Then every thing went down hill from there. No customer service. They billed me for service on a phone they couldn't connect to.I got so tired of the run around they would give me.So I canceled my account. Because of the FREE phones I had to pay over $3200.00. Then after three months, they send me a bill demanding more money and threatening to turn it over to a collection agency. Remember I had not received a bill in three months. When you call to work something out. The people to talk to have No authority to do anything but keep demanding you pay know. I was with T-mobile for over 20 years
NEVER had a problem with them Their customer service was GREAT.

I was billed $186.10 after I "ported" transferred the primary line to TMobile. When I transferred service, and paid off my phone and a watch,I was NOT told that my service to those three lines would continue. I assumed that it would be discontinued when service was moved. Previously, I was told, when I requested to go to one line, that it would be cheaper to stay with the three line billing. My bad, I guess. If I could give a rating lower than one star, I would.

Worst customer service, Went into target and one of the rep said they could get me a new phone and lower my bill, two hours later I got a final invoice to my email and the total amount was different. I called to canceled the order and i was told to wait until the phone were shipped. Went I received the phone I called one more time to cancel the whole transaction, they sent me the shipping label to send back the phones and I was told that everything was canceled, but guess what a month later they started charging for the lines, in two month I was charged $450, when I called to get my refund back they told me that they were able to refund just one month because they didn't found any notation of my previous called. So my advise is to stay away from those thieves.

I received an offer yesterday that was amazing! During the transaction we lost connection so I decided star today with another agent. She change the promotion and transfer me with his supervisor KAREN. SHE IS THE WORST! She closed my chat and do not gave my any explication.

My bills are always different prices, and I always have to call each month just to complain about my bills and also horrible customer service. When ever I call to get something done they never end up helping me, they just tell me that they will transfer me to the right person who I need to talk to, and they just leave me in the same place just with a different person. Never getting at&t again

There is no way to shut off charges if your fone is stolen or lost, customer service wont do anything and the att stores cant do anything, the only way is to just stop paying them, then your credit score takes a hit, such a dismal experience
Tip for consumers:
stay away from att

When they first launched AT&T Fiber in my area, I got a promotional offer that stipulated that my monthly payment would be $50/month for life. After getting my first bill I noticed that the bill indicated that my normal monthy rate was higher but it showed the discount so the price would be $50. Me being a skeptic, I called AT&T to verify that this would never go up and ask them why it just didn't say $50. They assured me if would never ever go up. Of course a year later my bill went up. When I called customer service they said they had no knowledge of this offer and told me to basically pound sand. I wish I had never switched to AT&T fiber.

It's very very terrible as long with the internet. They charge you so much for deals you can find with better internet connections. Don't waste your time with this company. Since the internet is terrible here.

Don't use it

I sent in 4 phones for credit and they lost 3 of the 4 phones. They told me they would pay off T-mobile phones but didn't and lost those phones so im stuck paying for those as well as phones for at&t. They should have put insurance on my phones like they said they would have to find out I don't have insurance on my 4000 dollars worth of phones. Seriously this company $#*!ing sucks and I look forward to filing a lawsuit

I signed up for a business wireless account and have regretted it ever since. The sales manager at my local AT&T store defrauded me twice costing hundreds of dollars. My attempt to resolve this with Customer Service ended up in a shouting match between this sales manager and the CSR on a call while I listened along. I wish I had recorded it. At the end of this the CSR said I would have to "fix this" with the local rep. Absurd. I cancelled service the next day. Now I am fighting with Collections just to get a final bill that reflects reality. How is it possible for a major US Corporation to run a business like this. I would be happy to join a class-action lawsuit if anyone is interested. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company.

I have spent hours on the phone and chatting with ATT Agents. They gave me a plan and discounts and when I received my bill, it looked nothing like what I was quoted. I called and spent hours on the phone being transferred and hung up on and redialed to experience more of the same. I was then moved to a "better" plan for "less $". When I received that bill, it was grossly wrong as well. More time on the phone, another change and yet another incorrect bill. My bill has never been correct. I have used my service to talk and chat with ATT to the extent of complete frustration. I cannot believe that this company has survived as a service industry with the type of chaos that exists in their customer service.

When I was forced to move, ATT did not have service in the area. I talked with customer service (horrible) they were pretty much saying TOO BAD! And I was charged extra disconnection fees!
Horrible experience

They have the worst customer service. They have no idea how deals work. Their IT is the worst ever, automatically assigns a suspended number as a back up number, in case if you get logged out of the account and they have no way to override it or send their OTP to email addresses. I can't believe such huge company can't even send OTP to email addresses but can send it to suspended numbers. How the heck can someone get the OTP from a suspended number. I have been logged out of my account even though i have my id and pw correct and they have no idea how to log me back in. Such dumb $#*!s working for at&t.

I went to upgrade my phone at a store in March and was told my phone was eligible for a FREE Samsung with my trade in. I went to trade it in after 2 weeks of getting the new phone and was told my phone was too old and I would have to pay $22.63 installment. I called and told them what had happened and they said nothing can be done to help a customer of there's that has been with them since 2011. I will be cancelling there service once I am able to switch. AT&T is TRASH!

Today was supposed to have my internet remotely set up. I set up all the stuff I had to and waited. It didn't work so I had to call them, and I was hopeful it would be a easy fix. It wasn't they sent me to like 9 different people who would send me to someone else. Then I asked to talk to a supervisor and then sat on hold for 30 mins then it just ended, I called back and sat on hold for another 30 mins then gave up. They called me back a hour later and was rude to me. They still didn't do anything then set up a appointment for Tuesday. Days before they called me confirming the reservation and told me different things. They also did that with the 9 different people. I told the supervisor about my experience and he completely disregarded it and was still rude.

At&t are crooks! Costomer service is the worst you will ever find. Still making me pay, after 2 years, for a phone number that is not working and hasn't been used in 2 years! 65.00 a month for no phone service and they are charging me more than I owe for "early termination " even though I've paid past the date. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY

I had to rewrite this review severel times because there's no service I hope this saves whoever reads this the heartache from att. You will lose everything switching to att.no texts phone calls dropped EVERY TIME no emails no internet. Choise any other service but then and it is better

I receive dozens of spam calls and frequently call them back. The number I call is often an out of service number. (I am well aware that the numbers are being "spoofed".) It would be very easy for AT&T to intercept calls to their customers that come from non-existent numbers and not deliver them.
Note that, in general, I am very happy with the service provided by AT&T.

I have tried to explain to ATT the issues with my lines and they do not help!
Since 2020 they have made me pay for a line that I don't use. I bought an iPad and when the person set it up Somehow it messed up my phone line, (the phone line is my daughter's bday) I will not lose that number., so then I was having issues between those two things.
So then I went and paid off my phone and because of the issue in 2020, I wouldn't be able to upgrade my phone, I worked (at the time an hour away). So I said I would. So stupidly, I went and got a new iPad one that I can use for work, and they decided to add two lines to my account that I didn't even need, and due to working 12-13 hour days I didn't catch it for two months. I keep getting told that their opponent's service isn't as good where I live, so I'm stuck! I don't know what to do!
