Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
My entire family after many many years of service are all currently finding another service. The customer service is atrocious and has been for some time now. Your upper management obviously does not care about the paying customers, with all of the failing reviews, with nothing being done.
It would be nice to have customer agents that speak our language, yet, I guess you sure get what you pay, and it certainly shows.

We were 100% promised $150 cards for each of our 3 phones. We changed our carrier to AT&T. Never received them & been fighting for them for 3 months. Lied to, scammed and duped. After I escalated it up 3 levels I'm being told there were no promotions at that time and they can't give them to me. They absolutely can give them to me! How is that my problem?! The worst company and customer service ever. Total scam! Don't go with AT&T! Im only giving it one star because I have to. They get an F- from me.
AT&T increased our bill because they took away the discount you get from Credit Card Auto pay. They want your bank information to do an auto pay from your checking account. Typical bait and switch from our original contract. We agreed to a specific amount and it should be honored. I understand taxes and fees go up, it happens with everything but this discount removal because we won't hand over our bank information is unacceptable!
Two thugs in dirty street clothes, driving an unmarked pick-up truck went into my backyard unauthorized and began digging holes all over the place. I yelled at them to get off my property and they just laughed at me, mocked me, and kept digging. They turned out to be AT&T employees who feel perfectly free to trespass anytime they please without notice and who laugh in your face when you tell them to leave.

Received the advertisement in the mail to upgrade at no extra cost or lower cost. However, through November I was charged $185.19. This month is correct with $128.56. I have phone and internet through them. AT&T ALWAYS advertises something one way and does the complete opposite. Same thing happened with the whole bring us your old phone and get a new iPhone free. The phone isn't free, they just take off the installments. Ended up having it stolen and was told I had to pay for the phone. Well then it's not really free is it? And now I don't have my old phone. They do. It's annoying.
They overcharge you and their customer service absolutely sucks! You always have to make a payment in order to speak to someone even if you don't owe money. I cancelled my second line and they told me my payment would go down $90 and it went up $90! I called to see why and they said I had a late payment from a year and a half ago. Curious why that wasn't on my bill that I pay on time every month. Stay away from these people! They'll rip you off! I just paid a whole month service for $200 and was cancelled 12 days into the billing cycle.
I hate there customer support. They deliberately signed me out right away since i have no signal, i can only use the chat. Service sucks! If i have to choose it will -10

So on spotify, there's this ad that has been going around. It basically is about a mans wife/girlfriend talking to him about how he has a twin and then she asks "Can you tell me why you downgraded our internet to save money, while your brother has AT&T Fiber, Wireless and is a Gigillionare?" and then says "I should have chosen the other one," basically yelling at him for being poor. Not cool.
I would not recommend this company due to poor customer support, and how they genuinely do not care. Switch to Xfinity, it's honestly better then AT&T.
Every time I have called to have a simple question answered regarding my bill amount, they push to upsell. I have to say, I am sick of it. Why can't they just answer a simple question? It is enough to make me want to switch my wi-fi service to another vendor.

When I cancelled my account they told me I have no more payments and I'm good to go. Then they charged my account $800 and over free my account on Xmas Eve! How sick are you to do this. First of all my account is cancelled and you still use my card to draw money from my bank that's theft. We have no business relationship. Second of all, why did you tell me I have no payment due? This is evil and sick!

We have been trying you end our contract and att will not let us. I was warned and didn't believe it, but here we are. The phone support told us to go to the store to disconnect service. The store refused to help and the worker actually stated "I'm not doing this right now" and walked away when we tried to ask questions about why we can't get our service disconnected. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I've had terrible service on multiple occasions, which is why we left in the first place.
Would never purchase any ATT product or Warner Bro items. Today, the ID station, owned by Warner Bros which is a subsidiary of AT&T advertised an AIDs medication wherein males are shown in intimate caresses and disgusting kissing scenes. This, as my grandson witnessed this trash. You people are evil. BTW, my grandson thinks you are equally evil.

I used the service for over 3 years. I moved to Europe for work. Hoping to keep my old phone number, I asked them if I can freeze the account after explaining the situation. However, I did not know that they will still charge me for the phone bill regularly. What was the point of suspending the account?
After a 2 hour phone call I was told my bill would go down then I got my first bill that was $52 more!
AT&T leads the pack in the worst customer service on the planet. As I am writing this, I have been on hold for 29 minutes and counting. Yesterday I was on hold until I finally gave up. I am a small business owner and I spend a lot of money with them each month for phone service. The last time a was able to speak to a human was years ago. They make it next to impossible to get a live person on the line to assist with any issue at all. I will be changing services as soon as I can actually speak to a human being. DO NOT USE them!

While shopping at Kroger two at&t salesman tricked me into joining. They lied about cost per month and that the phones were free. My first bill was $258. Second bill was 425. Don't be fooled by these salesman walking around in other stores

Chat through this app can be very frustrating as no one has any history of previous internet issues, and are rude or elusive about it when asked. We've had three technicians out to our home to fix intermittent and slow Internet, not once has a tech nor agent looked up or inquired into the history of our issues. You have to start all over again with each incident. Incredibly poor customer service, if only we had a better alternative, we would switch providers immediately. And what's even crazier, their customer service has been this way for decades.

I was with AT&T for years. Unfortunately I had to deal with them again recently. Nothing has changed since I left. This would be the last cell or internet company I would use if I were you. I sincerely hope this review dissuades at least one person to go elsewhere. What could have been a simple fix or remedy on their part will hopefully cost them business and profit. I'll take some satisfaction in that.

Where do I begin? The company is disrespectful, dishonest, rude, and deceitful. I've read several reviews where the consumer entered the agreement under false pretense; then, when calling to rectify the situation, you are transferred to several different operators to repeat your problem repeatedly. I see now this is an avoidance tactic frequently used in this company to avoid dealing with the customer's complaint, found error, or a dishonest practice. Absolutely absurd and factual statements! I am a first and last time customer of ATT&T. Please be advised this is a dishonest company with deceptive practices, poor connection, and poor customer service on a regular basis. The thirteenth month has been just as distasteful as month one. I will take the monetary loss to rid this disease; for prospective clients, don't waste your hard-earn money. I have learned the hard way.
