The reviews reflect a predominantly negative perception of the company's overall reputation and customer service. Customers frequently express frustration with long wait times, ineffective support, and unresolved billing issues, leading to a sense of distrust and dissatisfaction. Complaints about unauthorized charges and poor communication from representatives are common, suggesting systemic problems in service delivery. While there are occasional mentions of product reliability, the overwhelming sentiment indicates that customers feel neglected and undervalued. This pattern points to a pressing need for the company to improve its customer service protocols and enhance accountability to regain consumer trust.

International call charges are 5usd/min like seriously... $#*! you guys.promised no activation fees and sent bill with 4 line activation charges. Hope your CEO looks at this review.$#*!ing stupid company
Let's start by saying I am a good paying customer and never been late with my bills but I got a call from my daughter because AT&T texted her saying she can turn in her existing iphone 11 phone for a promo on getting iphone 14 for free only if it passed the 3 check points. So I decided to call at&t to see how this works so the phone has to pass the on and off mode or basically work and it passed that, the second check point was to make she it had no cracks or just be in great condition and that passed and the final check point was to turn off where's my iPhone mode which I went on a three way to deactivate it and we did that and then they sent the phone mind you they cannot send you anything until that is turned off so that went through but after like 2 weeks I got an email that the where's my iPhone was not turned off and cannot give me the promo so after countless calls with management and other techs did did not want to help me with this situation at all but the story is way to much to text but basically they took my iphone 11 and never game me the promo so I got stuck paying full price for the phone. It almost seems like it's illegal what they are doing cause they basically stole my phone and said the hell with you. So I took it up the $#*! but when my contract is up I will be looking elsewhere and I'm sure I will find a company that values customers. Don't believe the promo stuff cause they don't stand by it! And they treat customers terrible!
It is the worst internet service. Using out-of-the-USA customer services who apparently do not know what they are doing. Every time I have called for the same program is like I am starting all over again. NO CUSTOMER SERVICES AT ALL.GOING TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER PROVIDER
Worst experience my whole entire life I paid off my phone broke my contract still can't break away from these people never ever recommend this company to anybody they're full of lies when I first came to AT&T a year ago I gave them a brand new phone so I can get their services that phone was one month old not a scratch on it they gave me $0 for that phone they stole it from me I just pay to break my contract and they still want me to keep paying the money this is a fraudulent company this company should never be allowed to service any people with their services I highly recommend never use AT&T
Charlie Vicks is very professional and nice personality and great attitude. She is Awesome.
I wish her a great xmas.
$#*! you and your company. You've charged me over $600 in 4 months when my phone was stolen. I've been unable to switch to another service because you locked my phone number to my stolen phone. You've lied to me and gaslighted me every time I speak to one of you. I will take legal action.
$#*!.
YOU.
Absolutely awful service. They tried to charge me $300 when my bill wasn't even due yet. They overcharge and they do not have honest ethics. It's unfortunate. Steer clear!
Had an employee give me false info and got a bill saying i owed on something an employee told me i wouldnt. They meaning atnt employees and a superviser did nothing to resolve my issue just a either pay or return the device and were rude about it
They suspended my lines I paid my bill, they claim they never received my payment when I have my statement and confirmation email showing my payment was made. This is the second month in a row that I had issues with att. I will never refer anyone to att. They will take your money and say they never received it!
I'm a big fan of AT&T overall, and been a customer for many years. Usually enjoy visiting the store for account help and to look at the new devices. However, I won't be going back anytime soon - especially after my last surreal experience. Soon after entering the store, an employee approached me and stopped about 10 feet from me - he was expressionless - no hello - no "welcome to AT&T, my name is___, and what can I help you with today". He just stood there glaring at me as if I was in some sort of trouble - he actually looked angry about something, and he was menacing with his appearance and overall approach. A rather strange experience would be putting it mildly. I greeted him and attempted to step just a bit closer, and he took a step backward. I am a professional business owner and I was well-dressed, so I was having a difficult time understanding his version of 'social distancing' at 10-12 feet (the mask ordinance had been lifted months prior, and no one was wearing a mask.) This guy has NO business working with the public. I attempted to politely interact, he offered no assistance, and recommended that I call AT&T? I asked him for his name - he says his name is "Jeremy". I then left. A month later I went back to the same store and was greeted very professionally by another associate. After I concluded the purpose of my visit, I inquired about the associate named, "Jeremy" and described him. The friendly associate smiled and said, "Oh, that's EVAN, and he's a manager here... and EVAN has his moments" (What?!?) --- So, the bully lied about his name AFTER he treated me so poorly and unprofessionally. Truly a strange experience at the AT&T store on Woodruff Road in Greenville, SC! Good luck folks if you encounter EVAN -
AT@T states that an upgrade to an iPhone 14 is on them. This is a lie. They told me exactly that and then proceeded to charge me 22 dollars per month for 36 months. Do not believe their commercials or the people who work for them online or at their store. All of them told me it would be free. LIES!
The Young lady Evelyn at the store on Diversy and Narragansett in Chicago was great! Had a great easy experience, that I was not expecting! Good job Evelyn and thank you!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with AT&T internet. The customer service has been consistently poor, with long wait times and unhelpful representatives. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues with my service, my concerns have consistently been dismissed or ignored.
Additionally, despite being promised a $200 reward for signing up for the service, I have yet to receive it. This lack of follow-through on their promise is extremely disappointing and has made me lose trust in the company.
To make matters worse, the internet connection itself has been unreliable, frequently dropping at seemingly random times. This has been incredibly frustrating, as it interrupts my work and disrupts my daily routine.
Overall, I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received from AT&T and do not recommend it to others. The poor customer service, lack of the promised reward, and unreliable internet connection have all contributed to a negative experience.
I am very disappointed with AT&T! 2 1/2 yrs ago I trade my iPhone 7 for iPhone 11 and they offer me to pay $350 for my old phone and until now I didn't got anything, I am fighting for that $350 credit (IPhone 7) they promise when I finish pay off the new phone and if I keep the service, since August I have been talking with everybody work for AT&T and no solution, the worst customer service. They steal my old phone and that is it one advice don't ever trade your old phone!
We have had service with ATT for decades without any issues. Great service in Milwaukee, WI. Repeated failures in Madison, Wisconsin. They make 'expedited' appointments but, then, don't come or cancel. Appointment window 4-8 but told by 6:30, technicians may go home already. (Can't understand that concept). We have had no Broadband/Wifi, cable, or phone service since 11/28 and it is now 12/15. Very poor service and sorry's don't help us. Avoid ATT. It's been a nightmare for us.
Do NOT use AT&T as your provider. If you do, don't fall for their promotional offers like trading in your phones. If they promise you your bill will be X amount each month. They are lying. They will hit you with hidden fees and promotional offers that don't last. I as a customer was very specific about being on a fixed income and what I could and could not afford. After dealing with AT&T employees I discovered that my promised monthly bill of $188 and some change rapidly went to $222.34 after four months. Also, during the past few months they added on $90 tax fee that should have been up front but wasn't. This escalated my bill to $333. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AS A SERVICE! Their are far better providers out there, please don't fall victim as I did to these highway robbers.
My wife and I upgraded two older iPhones at the AT&T location off of Green Oaks Boulevard in Fort Worth. Our first bill was shocking. Without ever even raising the issue with us, they added to both phones monthly insurance payments, and we did not want insurance. They also added without asking $6 per month per phone in "upgrade fees." We would never have authorized that either. And worse yet, I was promised when I called the central AT&T 800 number a $350 trade-in for my phone under my existing plan, which neither this location nor ultimately the central call center would give me AFTER I had already picked up my new phone and downloaded everything to my new phone. I say ultimately because when I called the central 800 number to ask for the trade in, the manager to whom I had been transferred first told me he could not to that unless I upgraded my plan, to a level that more than nullified the trade-in value. But he said he would give me a one-time $175 credit splitting the difference. I wasn't happy about that but he said it was the best he could do. When I called today to question my bill, I was told 1) the manager had actually had to request the credit and that it was rejected (without my having been told) and 2) while this rep could cancel going forward the unauthorized insurance and upgrades (I have to call back on 12/17 on one of the phones for the latter fee) he could not give me a refund. I have been an AT&T mobile phone user for years. This experience has really soured me on AT&T. So, I am afraid when it comes to dealing with AT&T and especially one of their "authorized" retailers, you cannot count on them to disclose the fees they are adding to your bill or to keep their promises. All and all abominable customer service for a long-time customer.
Customer service here is horrible. They absolutely won't try to help you. Let alone you try to get in contact with them. This auto service you'll be taking to for 20 mins. I swear soon has this paid off I'm leaving. I been with Att for 17 years IM DONE TRASH
I tried contacting this company on many levels. Someone opened an account in my name and used my email as well. I filed a police report. I contacted these helmet wearing, crayon eating $#*!s to tell them to stop the shipment of the apple watch they were sending to an abandon house. Man tells me, he cant help because i forgot my 4 digit passcode for an account i didnt set up. Or open. I hope and pray this company goes bankrupt. And the CEO gets raped and beaten by a horse. And i hope the horse can talk. And all he repeats during the attack. Is at&t 24 hour customer service
I've already wasted too much time on this horrible company, but long story short, I began a relationship with someone in Europe and had so many problems with international calling. I would contact AT&T for help with setting up international, they would say it was setup and lo and behold, it was not setup. Then when we got married and he moved here we set up international calling so he could call home. I didn't realize at first that I didn't have it setup, that's on me, but I got a text from AT&T saying if I set it up, they could postdate it. So I contacted them again and was told someone put paperwork in to have it postdated. Then the rep gave me a number to call back the next day to check the status. When I called back I was told the number the previous rep had given me was the collections department and nobody could help me with my request. I let it go and hoped that it would all be OK. Next month's bill came and again it was astronomical. When I called back I waited for an hour for someone to help me who finally just dropped me off with the rudest manager I have ever dealt with anywhere in my life. That rep hung up on me when I asked her to look up the paperwork that the last rep had submitted for the postdate. I called back in tears and asked for another manager. Again, I waited approximately an hour for the rep to say that a manager would call me back that night. He assured me, this will all be fixed. Nobody ever called me back. I gave up after that and I'm currently shopping around for new service for me and my husband. I will never go back to them. Every single person I talked to at AT&T would make up stuff just to get me off the phone. They were all liars. This is the worst company ever.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
Answer: Because they never really will cancel your service! They overcharge you and when you finally get a hold of them they still refuse to help.
Answer: To answer your question, Simply there is no accountability at AT&T. They bounce you around and they make NO attempt for resolution.
Answer: I use to work for AT&T, they have gone from bad to worse to I don't give a damn, and that's a shame
Answer: That is just silly. He wldnt be a multi millionaire if his businesses were bad. You forget, everybody loved him till he announced he was conservative. Isn't it all the democratic mayor's and governor's states that are going to shit? Or would you rather take crime over parent choice?
