Calling the number on the bill for my deceased father's line and was told they couldn't find the account. Thus, they were unable to cancel it. A case was created and I was told to bring in death certificate to a store. Thank goodness for Michael Kakos, assistant store manager at 23 Mile Road location. When I arrived at the store with the death certificate, he called and was given the same run around. However, he was able to finally get the account cancelled. Thank you Michael for providing excellent customer service! Unfortunately, I will never do business with AT &T because of the challenge to cancel a deceased individual's account.
I recently changed to the advantage protection plan. When I make the claim I was denied for 3 months. Att could not give the proper information for asurion and send you in circles saying you have to call asurion then they say you need to call att. They send you to the manager on the app and then they cut you off or have you wait then tell you they can't help. The store people tell you they can help you do a claim but not much else they can do. Then recommend you to just lie saying I lost the device because I was denied at least 12 times because I didn't put the right day the device was last used. Then I was told I could make a claim on tablet or computer but it was a lie I had to add hometech which is $25 more on top of the $45 for the phones! Just report them to fcc right away thats the only way you will get anywhere!
I ordered a new IPhone 15 from them online I put full shipping address when ordered well whoever packaged it didn't put the full address on it. UPS couldn't deliver it back to me so they returned it. I told them when they got it back I wanted the phone and the line cancelled and I want my $52.70 refunded back. So far I've been given the run around one person said it will take a couple of hours to a day for it to be processed which was a lie. Now the next person says 5 to 7 business days well I'll give them that then I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB or FCC.
I left ATT myself years ago. They offer me $300 or more periodically to come back. I never will. For my 90+ yr old mother I spent 5.5 hours simply to get her phone turned back on. Every time I got someone who might understand why it was disconnected by accident, they promised to send me to someone who could help me, and passed me back to entry level in the Philippines. AVOID ATT AT ALL COSTS. This year I have spent 10 hours simply trying to fix two of the problems THEY CAUSED THEMSELVES. The confusion there is endless, and they will simply route you from one department to another, telling you that this department can do nothing. It doesn't even matter if you talk to a supervisor--AT ALL. And there was no way to get an account online since they had cut off the phone--by mistake.
We need a way to vote for WORST American company. They would win.
ABSOLUTELY the worst company possible... they came and hooked up my internet which kept loosing signal... promised to come back to hook up phone and TV... and never returned or called... however did manage to pull money out of my account for the services that were never hooked up... Thanks Stephen for a complete waste of my time and money... HORRIBLE COMPANY
Seems that incompetence runs rampant throughout AT&t and its employees. The cannt
Fix a basic voicemail problem and don't even follow through with setting up your phone and service properly. And this is not the first time that I've had problems with AT&t other people as well. I had a friend who works for AT&t and he said the management is horrible and the employees they hire are incompetent and lazy. Covid has made this even worse. Cant you fix a simple problem!
I had a wonderful experience working with Brianna at AT&T to sign up for FirstNet service. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain all of the features and benefits of the service, and she answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. She was also very friendly and personable, and she made me feel like I was a valued customer. I would highly recommend Brianna to anyone looking for assistance with AT&T services.
Do NOT use AT&T as your provider. If you do, don't fall for their promotional offers like trading in your phones. If they promise you your bill will be X amount each month. They are lying. They will hit you with hidden fees and promotional offers that don't last. I as a customer was very specific about being on a fixed income and what I could and could not afford. After dealing with AT&T employees I discovered that my promised monthly bill of $188 and some change rapidly went to $222.34 after four months. Also, during the past few months they added on $90 tax fee that should have been up front but wasn't. This escalated my bill to $333. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AS A SERVICE! Their are far better providers out there, please don't fall victim as I did to these highway robbers.
Paid $300 on a past due account. AT&T said they would turn on the internet and landline. Over 2 hours on the phone with customer service and they still would not reconnect the internet and landline - what a waste of my time. AT&T is incompetent.
I had a business and individual internet service. For bussiness It took total of 4 hours and 3 consultants to get service requested! Then 2 tech visits and I still dont have it. Horrible. For individual I had 100 mbps and was barely getting half of it. I paid $65 a month and then got spectrum 1gb for $50... superior customer service. As my friends said when Ia sked about swithich "whatever you switch to, after AT&T You'll be happy".
I'm not happy first thing that happened to me was I got my phone locked up and at&twont unlock it and they claim I've got another account BULL! So I go to the cloquet store and finance a new phone and the sales lady reassures me it comes in where I live but it don't so I drive right back the next day to return it.the gentlemen was very nice but informed me I am being charged 50 dollars because I opened the box. Are you seriouse I've got to open it to use it right? Any how after a couple of failed attempts to reach them I'm told I'm s. O. l. With my phone and supposedly will be reimbursed we shall see. Also that phone got hot too. DONT. GO THROUGH AT&T!
The service was awesome! We went to AT&T at The Woodlands Mall. Elizabeth was very helpful. She's doing a great job. We also received a lot of help from Mujeeb. We are very satisfied with the service, actually we changed to AT&T from T-mobile.
Poor customer Service. Name Lou
She had me on hold for 30 min just to suspend a line and to black list my phone she said she couldn't do it. I asked to speak to the Superviser and he was able to do it right away.
We live in the Raleigh, NC area. I fell for the "white glove treatment" back in February 2022, where a sales representative comes to your house and sets up your phones and the "we have a better plan/deal than what you are on now". Mitch Furst was your typical saleman, but when he could not get certain issues resolved with setting up our phones, nor get the billing set up correctly in the AT&T system should, red flags began going off. So, here we are 9 months later and Demetrius Rid$#*!, who is the regional manager, still can not get our cell phone bill right. Every month it has been off by between $60 and $110. Every month he says I will credit our account; I finally had a chance to check my last 5 credit card statements and NO CREDITS. This is partly my fault for not following up sooner and making a bigger fuss, but I trusted he would correct the billing issues. The cell service is fine, no better than T-Mobile which is who we were with before.
I have had my worsest experience with ATnT service. We called them 5 times for a wireless home service. Everytime they provided us with a pass code, account number and asked for personal details like SSN and never came to install the internet at home. Upon calling them they told us they never registered our appointment. I have never seen such an irresponsible company like AT&T providing nothing.
After trying to reach the ATT store nearest where I live to no avail, I went to the store. Once there I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted at the door and met with Tarrence Burch, Jr. He was very knowledgeable, professional and patient. I also spoke with Larry, the manager/assistant manager (I'm not sure which) to let him know how impressed I was with Tarrence. It is not often that you find someone that is truly the kind of person ATT wants to serve as a representative.
I had AT&T for many years. We were good customers and paid on time all the time. Got a new phone thru them and after 10 days need to change it because it did not work with my hearing aids. 3 different people including one superviser gave me 3 different stories. 1 said I could change out the phone cuz I was within 14 days. The 2nd person was very rude and said I was past my 14 days even though it was only 10 days. The third person was a supervisor and told me I was at a totally different number of days and they would not change out my phone. I cancelled my service and went with another service where I am saving $50 a month. PLUS, now i am trying to unlock my phones. I have tried for 2 months to get one unlocked. Yesterday I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on the phone to get the other 2 unlocked. No dice. Then the rep said she would call me between noon and 2 p.m. today to get the others unlocked. It is now 2:30 and no one has called. HORRIBLE COMPANY.
Jacob Minor in the Encinitas Store is exceptional!
We have been ATT customers for 25++ years and this experience has keep me from changing providers. Truly, I was looking to move-on!
I was very turned-off to your customer service weeks ago by walking into store and one of your team members said "I DO NOT GET PAID ENOUGH", when I asked him are you okay and this is how he replies.
My husband needed a new phone his died and went into store and met Jacob. He assured me that Jacob would be the one to assist with my new 15-pro Max when I received it.
He was correct!
Had a five-star experience and have not stopped raving about the process. The product was exceptional and Jacob changed my mind about ATT'S customer Service.
Thank you Kindly Jacob for your excellent, kind heart, and patients with setting up my new phone. Made my life happy again with ATT.

I can't put in words how much hate I feel towards AT&T as a company; specifically its customer service department. They are useless, condescending and untrained on how to treat people. A simple question to this incompetent people takes forever to be answered and they keep referring the client to another person. What I don't understand why can they can't just say " I don't have an answer but I Will ask and let you know ASAP! They must be related to the employees at Florida's Pearl Holding insurance. I relocated to an apt building in the city of Fort Lauderdale and they have an agreement with AT&T where we are obligated to use AT&T and knowing this this company offers the highest prices and no customer service apparently knowing that we have no other choice but to be with them.
Problems with spam e-mail texts & robocalls through ATT. No way to control them because when I block them they come in on different e-mail addresses & phone numbers. Problems below:
TEXTS - Texts that are robo e-mails; mostly from g-mail & hotmail accounts. They contain links with porn or sales. Didn't even know you can send an e-mail to a phone number.
PHONE CALLS - With ATT if I block them, they still go to voicemail & they just keep coming with new phone numbers so it's a constant battle. Changed my settings to accept calls only from people in contact list; what could possibly go wrong there, lol?
ATT said I should change my phone number. Really, there are other people having this problem. I've had that number since my first cell phone. Maybe they should provide better service or allow more blocking options.
Really frustrated, as you can tell, ready to throw away my phone; it's useless to me anyway.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
Answer: Because they never really will cancel your service! They overcharge you and when you finally get a hold of them they still refuse to help.
Answer: To answer your question, Simply there is no accountability at AT&T. They bounce you around and they make NO attempt for resolution.
Answer: I use to work for AT&T, they have gone from bad to worse to I don't give a damn, and that's a shame
Answer: That is just silly. He wldnt be a multi millionaire if his businesses were bad. You forget, everybody loved him till he announced he was conservative. Isn't it all the democratic mayor's and governor's states that are going to shit? Or would you rather take crime over parent choice?
