Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
ATT is the most frustrating, unprofessional company who seems unable to communicate with its customers and has no regard for a customer's time. An appointment was scheduled for internet upgrade, I took off work to meet the technician who called 5 minutes before end of appointment window to say his workload wouldn't allow for my appointment. ATT rescheduled for the next day, again I took off work. The tech was a no-show. I called and was told my appointment was cancelled due to internal technical issues. No phone or text to tell me, so another wasted vacation day. I waited on hold 12:59 min. For a Supervisor before they finally disconnected me. A Supervisor/Manager did call me back, she kept saying how "sorry" she was and offered to compensate me $25. Wow, that really covers my two vacation days. I've been reschedule a 3rd time which means another vacation day with no guarantee they will show up. Just another big company who has little or no regard for their customers. I'm looking for another provider

Hi, all att, I had services sometime ago, I pd.my bill, home phone, cell, directv, wifi internet, in may of 2021, now att sends me a bill,(2 bills), on, 9/17/2022 for $1,220.13, a turns me into deit collector and the other att bill is for $215.61. Well I pd.the bills back in, may of 2021.Are they as they say trying to double dip me, let me think, (maybe yes), are they harassing me, let me think, maybe,(yes). One the hwy near me they,(att) had a billboard sign, saying... xfinity 1Gbps internet, AT&T also has1Gbps, well I call att and ask about it the lady asks me my zip code, I tell her, she asks me my address, I tell her, then she tells me in my area we only have 10 Mbps, I say the AT&T billboard sign on the hwy near me says xfinity 1 Gbps, and AT&T also has 1 Gbps internet...(?) I would like to give att a 0 rating or a -5 star's, thank's..

We have been a customer of AT&T (phone and internet) for nearly four years and we are extremely unhappy right now. We have been without stable internet for over three weeks now. We have called over and over again to speak with a manager. They have sent out three techs already and we now have another scheduled for next Saturday. Each time they send us to a 'manager', we are told by the person answering they are just another call center rep. We have been getting the runaround for weeks and it's obvious we are nothing but a number to them. I would never recommend anyone to them for internet services. We have fiber optic lines running to our house, but they won't hook them up as we are not priority at this point, even though the neighbors across the street have had them up for weeks. We can't get anyone to listen to us and at this point, we can't see a reason to keep them. Our last tech has told us it's a line issue and they really need to send a line person out, but they just keep telling us we have to have a person come into the home (again) to make sure that it's not our issue. They have finally offered us a discount for our internet this month, but at this rate, it really should have been discounted to nothing. We don't have viable internet, so why are you charging us for it?! This is why businesses can't keep good customers. It's just so frustrating.

EVER & i mean never join this carrier.
I have a family plan a different carrier, my family was sweet talked into switching they did, but my line was the only one switched… the same day they immediately cancelled everything and I was placed back on my original carrier, without being able to receive calls or make them… I gave them 3 days to fix it (with my original carrier) & since I was having the same issue I finally decided to call, they apparently placed a Port connection lock on my line and now REFUSE to unblock it. They have been telling me to just dial *7678 and everything would be fixed immediately after dialing & getting a "the number you have called is not complete" they said oh well if you want to unblock the port you will have to turn in your phone…. I BOUGHT MY PHONE A YEAR AGO DIRECTLY WITH APPLE! & now they continue to refuse to unblock the port connection. Not to mention this was all done without my authorization.

Their prices are TOO HIGH and it is NOT WORTH for that price. Once I found a better carrier with a quarter price, they did not let me transfer my number. They put a PORT PROTECTION on my plan and even they did not know how to remove it, so I was not able to transfer my number. I have been calling them for MORE THAN 8 HOURS. They just put me on hold and nobody knew how to fix it. They just put me on hold and I've been hearing "THANKS FOR WAITING" for more than 3 HOURS! They ruined all my day. I have never seen a customer service AS POOR AS theirs! If you cannot fix the problem, do not put port protection on the customer's wireless plan! I WILL NEVER COME BACK WITH AT&T AGAIN!

I entered into the Wentzville AT&T store located at 1955 Wentzville Parkway to upgrade to an iPhone 15. The "Retail Sales Consultant" Suriyo Vanmalaithong was very eager to assist. He represented that my current iPhone would have a trade-in value. He asked what model it was and we both simultaneously reviewed the setting at concluded it was an iPhone 8 Plus with the highest memory available for that mode. He also said the equipment was in perfect condition and then looked in to the system and states that the trade-in value of the phone would be $300.00, and to drop it off any time at the store before thirty (30) days expired. He didn't have the iPhone 15 color/make in stock, so her ordered the upgrade to be shipped to my residence. All went as represented until my wife and I attempted to drop of the wiped aforementioned iPhone 8. Another representative claimed his system was down, so Suriyo recognizing us came over to assist with the trade-in. After what appeared to be numerous stall tactics, going in the back to discuss with his manager - she came out and didn't even address us or the trade-in attempt. After over 30-45 minutes, Suriyo stated that he could not honor the previously represented amount of $300.00 credit towards the bill and could give approximately $35.00. I stated that I was worn down by his stall tactics and left. Please check the store video recording systems to validate not only the misrepresentation and attempt to trade-in the phone. Beware of the bait and switch.

My daughter signed up for the 9.99 unlimited internet tablet service during Covid for school. They are trying to charge us over 1000 for overages. Can't get any help. HURRY AMD RUN SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY AEE THE ABSOLUTE WORST. All 6 of my phones are now with T-Mobile
Tip for consumers:
Att does not stand behind their product. They lure you to sign up for this student program then overcharge you. You can provide proof, audio, email messages then they ghost you and sent to collection. Spent over 10 hours on phone, 4 site visits, numerous apologies trying to get help, promising it would be taken care of then I get letter from collection agency…. Worst customer service ever

I've been A customer of AT&T For over 7 years I tried calling multiple times to try to get my bill lowered from the $200 mark every time I called they never had a promotion they are overpriced and outdated I would think as a loyal customer they will have promotions for me to save on money but in my case I feel as though they didn't care about the consumer, So I finally canceled my service early before my bill was due and I was told they don't prorate your bill that is very sad

AT&T has improved drastically regarding to their coverage over the years. I was rarely without service. And I almost always had 5G. But as a whole, these big phone carrier companies suck. Customer service sucks. By phone is always someone who doesn't speak good enough English for me to understand what they are saying and chats always sound like I'm talking to an AI robot. Options for plans is so limited. Minimum of $75 a month for a plan with more than half of stuff i don't need. That price doesn't include all the other stuff they want you to pay for. Phone payment plan, insurance, programs, fraud/theft, tech services, caller blocking, etc. in the end I would pay over $100 a month minimum. They also really tie you into a contract. They might give you $800 for your phone but it's not $800 off, they just apply it by credit over 2-3 years. Wowza. Trying to transfer your phone line is a hassle. It took me over 2 hours. I had to pay off the device, request a phone unlock, request for fraud protection to be removed, request for my line to be cleared for transfer, and then a transfer pin. Verizon is way worse than AT&T but I still don't want to ever go back to a big phone company.

I have had At&t unlimited for about 8 months, and for 2 months now they are trying to charge me for a second phone, second phone service plan with all fees including phone purchase installment, insurance installment, upgrade installment, taxes, etc. as well as a random $50.00 restocking fee for? And of course, two $40.00 reconnect fees... They turned off my service to my actual phone and didn't turn it by on until I made a payment if I didn't pay a big part of this fraudulent lines past due bill.
I have spent 16 hours of personal time on the phone with customer service( mostly on hold)on 6 occasions, having the representatives tell me they removed the ghost plan bill and its generated costs. I thanked them graciously, each, time...
I have spent $60.00 in transportation, been extra stressed, and lost $3000. 00 in business income (due to being without communications for multiple days because of the multiple days of interrupted service bullying"' use of the fake phone bill's past due) And my phone has been getting sub-par connectivity and absolutely blasted by random, nondescript "click link" messages 1-2 every minute (24hrs) for 6 days now. And if I cancel my service now to go elsewhere, I will incur negative creditscore effect (x2) by early contract termination of TWO lines, and I am sure more illegitimate fees, and lose a phone have paid about half of the seriously high price for.

If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are BIG SCAMMERS. My husband went to Costco and they had their booth their scamming people so one of those scammers got my husband into switching with them where we had the best service with t-mobile for 7 years + they said we will have new devices and our bill will be 160 total. Apparently it was a lie. First month they said our bill would be a lil higher because of the devices and until they receive the old devices they will give us credit back for our old phone. And that didn't happen. My husband talked to them and they said we will credit it for you just have to pay 192 and we said ok we will pay 192 they promised that this was the amount we would pay for 3 years. We just got a bill for 201 again. And we called and one of the supervisor lies and says no we can't do 192 because you have to pay taxes for government some bull$#*! stuff. I just want everyone to know that At&t is a big scam and I don't ever recommend anyone going with them. Now we are stuck with them for 3 years. Other thing is that their service sucks the data is very slow. When your outside there is no service it just keeps loading. Worst decisions we made we switch with these scammers.

So my sister got an iPhone 13 pro and she wanted to transfer files to her new phone, and my mom wanted to trade in her old phone for a new one, like on the offer that says, "trade old phone get new phone", but in the process, my mom found out that there were EXTRA hidden FEES and then the lady said a bunch of numbers and said cost, and It was very stressful for my mom so she didn't want to get the new phone, so FALSE ADVERTISEMENT of trade your current phone for a new free phone. Does 346$ sound like a "free phone"?

They opened me a second account instead of transferring my services. I found out bc they charged my twice and left me without services in my new account. I have been fighting with it seems like every person who works at ATT since November 9th for $250.46 and a credit for no services I was promised. Joy Brown "like the color" is the last condescending "supervisor" I have spoken to in account receivables. I can't wait for this contract to end. Their service and customer service is disgusting. Every time I call their line it's disappointing. Normally I just go online and pay my bill. I have been a loyal customer since 2011. They are thieves and are always "sorry for the inconvenience". I know this review won't change anything for a little person like me. AT&T is absolutely worthless and so is every single person who has "assisted" me over the phone since October 12th when they created a second account instead of transferring services. You only have ONE JOB. DO IT RIGHT. I would've been fired by now. Call me... I would love for someone to finally call me like you all stated they would. Last 4:2373

They are terrible they stole money from my checking account with their auto pay that I did not approve when my rent was due and put me in a financially compromising situation and refuse to give me my money back in a timely manner DO NOT USE THEM they have been rude and terrible to me when I was a customer for them for years I hope they see this and know exactly who I am
Tip for consumers:
proceed with caution I heard some of the employees talking about adding charges thinking no one would notice on accounts and selling false plans/items while on the phone in the store with att loyalty departrment like they did with me

Was looking for a provider with reasonable costs to my bill. I was promised an amount on the phone for my bill and confirmed SEVERAL TIMES how much the bill would be after everything was included. I look into the bill and it was DOUBLE the amount that was said. Then they said they couldn't fix it because I was the one who set everything up online. Even though it was DONE OVER THE PHONE. Do not trust AT&T they are liars and scammers. Spread the word about their deceptive tactics.

For the past two years I've been negotiating with at&t to try to get them to realize, understand, that seniors simply can't afford their prices. The services they offer and what they charge are not reasonable for us aarp-ers who have minimal usage. Finally I got a real letter from, what I though, was someone who could take charge and actually initiate a viable campaign for seniors. It turned out to be just an email associate who could not make any decisions, except to offer me to sign up for a FEE!
I've been a customer of AT&T for many years and they want me to pay a fee to start what I already have! They are being short sighted because they can afford to corner this age group with the very best package. But they are being petty. They don't seem to care that millions are coming of age and switching to Vontage, Consumer Cellular, etc., or other AARP rec. Wireless. I don't see any ads for AT&T in the AARP circulars. I tried to help them get some insight into the market and they treated me as if I were insignicant, big mistake.
They invest their profits in Sales, Collections and CEO salaries. They can't listen to customers and are unable to acknowledge new ideas.

On Oct of 2016 I walked into an att store and signed a 2 yr contract. I walked in there with 2 cellphones already. I had to give them one of my 2 month old Samsung Galaxy S6 Edges to get the " SIGN UP FOR 2 YRS AND GET A FREE S7 AND UNLIMITED EVERYTHING FOR $100" deal even though I paid a deposit of $100.
Turns out my first bill was over $200 and I called ASAP! They lowered my bill to the $163.00 I was to pay. A month later the bill was $180. Again I called and they said that those were taxes and other service fees they were charging. For the past 6 months my bill has been $186 and this month my bill was $228.00! Now they changed my contract saying that my phone service alone is $173.00 and the second phone is $55.00! Wtf? Now they offered me 6 gigs shared between 2 phones for $134.00 a month tomorrow I AM CANCELLING this bull$#*! and going back to BOOST where I was for 7 yrs and only paying $40 a month unlimited everything!
PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT GO WITH ATT&T. THEY ARE THIEVES!

I do not like the fact that you have AT&T and your stores bothering people to start service and there's no one to help when there's a problem because there's a third-party company. You have them in your store they bother me and get me to switch my phone service now I can't get my phone number back to where I wanted and no one wants to help not AT&T not the representative at Sam's Club, not the Sam's Club representative everyone says go here but I'm the one stuck with a phone that I don't need and no one wants to take it back where is the justice someone needs to be accountable for this I am the consumer I shop in your store you allow them in your store then you are responsible for them being in your store starting up service and not taking care of their customers. That guy Jamal working in your store in Connecticut needs to get fired I do not appreciate him lying to me about this plan that is not factual.
