Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
They keep on charging me for my phone. That was free. Every month I have to take a visit to the store to fix it. The worst thing I ever did was going to att...

I was out of the country last year for about 20 days and they wanted to charge me $100 for using the internet. I was outraged because I didn't use the internet (my cell phone didn't even have a signal) and I didn't request any international service. My husband called AT&T and said the charge was absurd for the reasons stated above. They dropped the $100 charge.
Well, I'm out of the country again, however, before I even left the US I turned off my mobile data because I didn't want to be charged again!
But to my surprise came a charge of $100 again because I was using my cell phone outside the United States. This is ridiculous! I didn't requested no international plans, let alone use the internet on my cell phone, I only use my home Wi-Fi! My husband called again to ask them to drop this charge but they won't! They said I need to keep my phone on airplane mode at all time the time! How could I know that? This is ridiculous! Now I can't receive iMessage which again is free when sent from iPhone to iPhone! This company is a joke! Don't waste your time with them. The service is of poor quality. I would not recommend them even to my worst enemy!

Had a warranty claim, they mailed me a new phone as a replacement. We decided instead to switch carriers, I sent back the unopened box of the replacement they sent me. Now, 4-5 months later I receive a collections letter in the mail for an "un-returned" item. Except, I have both my tracking number for the return confirming that the package was returned to their "returns processing facility" in Ft. Worth as well as a conversation with an associate in customer service chat that I spoke with whom also CONFIRMED that the package was received and that I would NOT be charged for it. I have spoken to 3 different managers now over the phone for over 4 hours, with no resolution to this problem. I received a "confirmation" number that my charge was to be reversed, but, she claimed she could not give me a receipt for this being taken care of to which she told me I would then have to go into a store to receive a copy of a receipt for the reversal of charges. I went into the store today, after 1 week from my conversation, and in the store, I'm told this was again, never taken off of my previous account.

We stopped in the Lake Hallie store for a upgrade phone and received the best service service from Kay and Cory, They were both very friendly and knowledgeable so in short AWESOME is the only word that comes to mind.

This company is the absolute worst when it comes to there phones, service and customer support. I signed with them in June. Only had to pay taxes that month. Phones were junk. I'd been complaining of them since 2 days after activation. They do nothing to help. Quoted me 1 price, then take nearly $100 more than quoted price. Then charge late fee, when payments were never late, always 6 days early. Bank acct proves never late as well as all months from June to Oct were paid. Also shows in Sept. They took double payment (making it 5 payments taken from me when its supposedto be only 4), which was reimbursed. Still shows 4 payments made june-sept. After reimbursement. But they argue and say by them reimbursing me, they never got their payment for Sept. But my bank acct. Proved otherwise. So, not only do they rip you off, but they are rude and liars. As well as giving you phones that are junk. I left them and found a better company, with better phones and customer services. So if you are thinking at&t? Then don't. Look for another company... unless you like being ripped off, having junk phones, and customer service reps being rude and not helpful.
Tip for consumers:
If you like a cell phone company ripping you off, customer reps being rude and not helpful...and junk phones...then check AT&T out. If not, stay far away from them.

AT & T charged me for a cellphone number service that was not transferred to them from Altice mobile so I was charged by both AT & T $ 86 and Altice $ 40 for the same month. I told AT & T about it and customer service said will do something but just sent my bill to a collection agency to ruin my credit score. I will not recommend AT & T to anybody, such a rip-off company.

Since June At&t has allowed am outside party to add services and lines to my account. I have changed all passwords and pin codes and everything they requested. Every month fraudulent charges are added and I have to spend hours on the phone never to reach the fraud department and go through hoops trying to get things canceled and reversed and I am always locked out of my account. EVERY MONTH THEY ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN UP TO $2000 DOLLARS OF CHARGES!

I spent one hour plus on the phone trying to fix a new phone problem with a person who could barely speak English. Run away as fast as you can.

I signed up with the prepaid wireless plan through AT&T on the 5th of the month. It is a 30 day cycle so I was told at the beginning that the next payment was due on the 4th of the next month. Because I had autopay it came out on the 3rd, ok not that big of a deal, until each month thereafter, if came out a day before until October 2022, they payment came out on the 2nd of October and then again on the 31st of October. I called AT&T and asked if my phone was locked and they told me no, I then proceeded to change over to verizon, when I put the sim card in, it told me the phone was locked. Really long story, but I had to pay them another $40.00 on the 7th of November 2022 to get my service back on. They basically took 3 weeks from me, and admitted that when I confronted them. I cannot wait to go somewhere else. This company is horrible.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from AT&T

The ATT Store at 7573rd Avenue, Jasper, IN, has some EXCELLENT staff. I've been there twice this week and they were sooo helpful and informative. They helped our family purchase new phones, get the best rate for us, helped me order them, and today set them up for use. It only took 37 minutes today for setting up two phones! I HIGHLY recommend Kyra and Sydney. Great job ladies! THANK YOU!

Att servies are very pricey and it gets worse when you try to contact customer service. They will manipulate you and twist everything that seems simple and easy.

Don't use ATT. Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I would rather shoot myself in the face than have to speak with their customer service team ever again.

I have never in my life had internet this bad. And for the cost it's really not worth it. If I had any other option for my area I would not be using att.

Don't get att if you have options for other services

I'm never writes reviews but I'm so done with AT& T. I contacted AT& T for a replacement phone because my phone was not working. The rep told me I could get BOGO free apple watches so I ordered the watches. Now I receive a bill $100 more a month after the 14 day return period has expired. I contacted AT & T investors and discussed my concerns with senior manager Toan and was very disappointed with higher management after being a committed customer for 22 years. We just wanted the company to honor what was told to me and asked if they could go back and review the recording. The senior manager said they only keep recordings for 30 days. The rep promised me that my bill would only increase $10 and that was false and deceptive information. I'm looking to change carriers soon because I trusted the rep because of my longevity of 22 years with AT &T. No resolution and it appears they don't care about deceptive practices from their rep. The options given is nothing compared to my years with them.

Roughly two months ago, I went to the Brea retail store in order to become an AT&T Wireless customer.
Leydi Sanchez was very very helpful.
In my personal opinion, Leydi Sanchez is the number one employee at the Brea retail store.
When I walked into the Brea retail store around 12:30 in the afternoon on Monday, July 10th... Leydi greeted me by name.
Leydi Sanchez is truly an asset to the Brea retail store and to the AT&T corporation.
Leydi Sanchez should be highly commended for her helpfulness and for always providing excellent customer service.
I walked into the Brea retail store around 12:30 in the afternoon on Monday, July 10th because I wanted to put myself on a lower rate plan for my cell phone service.
Anthony "Zee" Zuliani patiently helped me explore all of the options that were available to me.
Anthony "Zee" Zuilani should be highly commended for his helpfulness and for providing excellent customer service.

Unlimited plan does not mean unlimited plan when the att&t tower is more than Four miles away. But you still have to pay for the unlimited data plan.

I have been with ATT for years, I received a bill for 603(a car not payment) which is my bill each month for 7 lines so I paid the bill then I made a payment arrangement for 181. My son has been in ICU for 31 days and and I leave the hospital to come home and shower and try to call the hospital to check on my son and my phone is off. So I'm frustrated and scared cause I can't check on him and everyone in my household have att so I can't make a call. So I drive to att to see if I can speak with a rep. They're saying it's nothing they can do I could call and see what they say. So I call and they say well since you didn't keep the promise to pay for the 181 we turned your phone off and now you have to pay 1000 to get them back on. No one called to remind me, no one called to say make your payment no text nothing. So the manager started well we can restore service but the lowest we can go is 966. I'm pissed I have been giving my money away for years without looking at a bill each month paying $600 $800 bills with no complaints no credits not even looking at a bill. Anything could have happen to my son and for them to show no sympathy hurts me and to even know I was an employee for years. I will never in my life recommend them for anything

They will promise you a visa gift card and then will deny your eligibility after the 8 week period elapses. Even if you've called in the meantime and confirmed, after signing up with the code they SENT YOU IN THE MAIL.

I'm in the middle of a mess with AT&t, we have switched from T-mobile to AT&t and it is not going well, i am paying full price for a phone that a manager brought us to trade and unfortunately it did not go well, do not let sales managers or sales persons come to your home, is better to be done at the source, because after they leave they will block you and block any source of contact you have with them. AT&T has a great department called loyalty department, but that is the only department where trained professionals really know their ways to get around, and because all the other reps does not know anything for when it comes to issues my problems became bigger and more complicated, and now AT&T kept my phone and full price of the sell they made,$1140 in order to get my lines working again. Also depending on the area, they will also lack service and messages do not come as fast as they say they should. So if i can save you some time and headaches, yes AT&T shows you good prices and good deals, but they lack big on management and sales teams and all you need is Loyalty to get better answers. Run away from AT$T if you can.
