Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
AT&T has the worst customer service and they charge extra titbit's/charges on each statement hoping customers won't notice or take the time to call. When you do call customer service they will give you a run-a-round hoping you will just go away.
AT&T also refuses to unlock phones that are no longer with their company, so that expensive phone you buy will just be an expensive BRICK when you do #DumpATT
And you will, because they SUCK!

I went to the AT&T store had all my accounts canceled, the customer service rep forgot to cancel one of the accounts and I got continuously charged for it because I was on auto pay. When I called AT&T to address the situation, they refused to refund my money.

Buying a $300 hotspot plan prepaid, is like a trip thru hell. Ordered online, and paid online, and they sent sim for my hotspot. ERROR they sent a "cell phone" sim, not a "data" sim for hotspot. Called and asked for help and spent literally hours. Told me finally to go to store for help. More hours. THEN AT&T finally "discovered" they had sent a cell phone sim, the wrong type? What consummer knows there are different sims? Anyway, their solution was to give me, free, a data sim and put it in hotspot. What I had to do, on my own, again, was to pay and activate this "data" sim online with ATT. I did that. Now about 15 total hours in all this added up. THEN i see my account and "bill" and it shows I owe, again, the $300 for service or I may be cut off.? WTF? Hotspot still working. A call to billing on AT&T is a fail as I am told their "system is having problems and is down and they cannot load any account info" and to call back later and keep calling and it will be up sometime, maybe today. I would not trust these people to go next door and get me a cup of coffee with a $50 bill. All bad news. Sorry, if this is what a top NYSE company does, not long till it loses all its consummer customers.

We started service with AT&T over a year ago through sam's club. The representative stated that if we trade in our galaxy devices they would credit us brand new s22's. He went on to say that the plan he could put us on an unlimited plan for $25/line with HBO and access to 5G. We agreed and when he rang us up he charged over $700, he said that was for taxes and surcharges. Taxes for 5 phones is not close to $700. Regardless we paid and sent our phones in. AT&T then went on to say the lost our phones and we spent a lot of time getting the tracking and sending it to them. They finally decided to give us the credit and then our first bill was $530. We called to inquire why and they said the credit would reflect in a few months. They credited our account but definitely not enough to compensate the first bill or even the second or third. As a matter of fact our bills have been over$200/ month, not the agreed $125. On top of everything the service is slow, interruptions during phone calls and we lose signal alot. We would love nothing more than to get our old phones back and leave this godawful service. They raise our monthly premiums with no notice or explanation. If you're looking to switch providers do not go to AT&T. They are literally the worst company ever

I went to the ATT store in Novato, California with the intention of switching my service provider to them. I had looked online the night before and found a deal for $35 per line (I wanted two lines). When I entered the store the sales person was very unfriendly. He told me they didn't have a deal like that. I told him I had seen it online and he argued with me, telling me I was wrong. I went to my car, found the deal online, and went back in. He looked it up and told me the deal was not what was listed. It was obvious he didn't know what he was doing. The manager came out and told me the salesperson was new, but that they were not going to help me and I could leave the store. When there are a lot of companies vying for people's cell service business, I find it astonishing how rude and dismissive this manager was. I went to TMobile, whose sales people were extremely nice, and I signed on with them. I had heard terrible things about ATT customer service, and this store reinforced all the warnings to stay away from them.

Price was very competitive... we will see if it lasts. Service has been consistent. I have Uverse with my business, 1 phone line and internet. I have been on the phone or emailing them for 10 hours at least to straighten out the mess. I get emails in the middle of the night about new services, canceled services etc. My bill amount changes every couple of days. It has been a slow, confusing frustrating process to get switched. So far... when there has been an issue I have been able to get it resolved and the number on my bill eventually looks again like it is supposed to... but I cant understand what parallel dimension they are working in over there. Literally stuff gets created out of nowhere, canceled out of nowhere, priced differently out of nowhere! I mean how hard is it. 1 phone line - x number of dollars, 1 internet service y number of dollars. X + y = z. Now hook it up! That simple. But instead its literally a month and half and x + y = z one day and the x + y = spaghetti the next day! Ill be happy if they provide a reasonable service and charge me what we agree on thereby saving me some money. To be determined. I have talked with probably 10 different people at AT&T. 8 of those were pleasant and seemed to be able to get the job done... 2 seemed rude and incompetent. Everybody seems to not be quite sure what is going on over there... but who could when x + y = spaghetti... no wait... it = wet stinky poodle now.

I've had an account with AT&T on 3 phones for years. How-ever I have been trying to close my entire account for quite a while, now. They sent me a Motivate Model 341U phone last August as a replacement for an older phone that they would not support anymore. This phone has never worked, has no service and is locked. I wanted to close my account called 5 customer service professionals(?) who did nothing. One guy that I talked to recently appeared to be trying to cancel this phone - then, all of a sudden, he disconnected. Their experts(?) want Pass codes on each phone. I have no idea what a Pass code is and told them that. One lady tried to text me a Pass code and I never got it. They cannot do regular email for some reason. All I want to do is close and cancel my ATT account. It should be relatively easy. In my letter I told AT&T that I will shred the 3 phones and sim cards soon and that I will not make any more payments. I will send my next bill backed to AT&T with a big ZERO on the amount paid. Next stop will be the Better Business Bureau. I HATE AT&T and will NEVER use them again!

My 83 year old grandma got a letter saying AT&T fiber is now in your area! Sign up now to save 30$ a month! That was a lie, we got the regular deal no savings. We made an appointment for installation of tv internet and phone service. The first appointment was a month out, they called literally 5 times in the preceding 5 days to confirm the appointment between 8-10 am, (they called at 9:30 pm a couple times and My grandma sleeps at 8!). When the day arrived at 8 and parked down the street, they called at the last minute(10:00 on the dot) as I watched them drive away, saying "the infrastructure in your area is not complete and you must reschedule after it is complete. 10 minutes later we get an automated message "the infrastructure is now complete in your area please reschule your appointment. We did, another MONTH away. They arrived at 8 this morning, parked down at the end of the street, waited until 10am, drove away while calling to say "the infrastructure is still not complete in your area please reschedule. We called on speaker phone, My grandma said " we want to cancel because we are getting tired of dealing with this sh**", the tech told my 83 year old grandmother to "who are you? Watch your mouth when you talk to me". So we had to call the phone tree to try to talk to a human which is impossible in order to try and cancel, which took about 45 minutes and the lady got rude when we did not know our account number of our service that we haven't received yet. So all in all this was a terrible experience and we are sticking with xfinity which has been a breath of fresh air.

My mom has been with this company for over 15 years! They are crappy to the point the internet was going down everyday at the same time. This place charges people outrageous amounts to even have a phone. I've asked my mom to switch for years because of this place and price. Two weeks ago a call came thru an it showed atnt as the call and what do you know they end up being a scam call and hacked my mom account all meanwhile while this happened an atnt knew it they still shut our phones off and didn't care about it. My mom always pays her bill on time. Im writing this review to hopefully shed light on how crappy this service is. How can you charge someone 400 dollars for a flipping phone service and no extras added. Just basic lines! I'll never understand so thank you atnt for making it tough on my mom and couldn't consider that my mom got scammed and it is also the holidays! Wayyy to go! I'll never recommend yall or even come back to yall after service! Monopoly on people who just want to reach loved ones! Happy holidays to everyone one else but this place is awful!bi didn't even want to give a star because they don't deserve it!

The apartment complex recommended a guy. The price was not right.
I told him not to call. He called and I dismissed the call over 10 times and then he texted.
So the definition of harassment.
Tip for consumers:
Truly horrible on the front end, and research said you would equally hate them and their top evenly rated competitor.

Brandon Miranda, an AT&T salesperson, showed up on my doorstep after I had signed up for AT&T internet. Brandon's job is to get people to switch from their current cellular provider to AT&T and he is very good at his job. The problem is that Brandon will say whatever you need to hear to make the switch. Brandon Miranda flat out lied to us to get the sale. Not only did it cost me $400 more than Brandon quoted for me to leave Verizon but my monthly AT&T bill is 15% more than he quoted as well. When I tried to contact Brandon to remedy the issue he would not call me back. His, email suggestion was that I go to slower speed service then my bill will be lower. I do not want slower speeds and I was not quoted for slower speeds. All I want is what I was promised. Brandon, in an email, told me that I should take up my issue with his manager Londale Kirk. So, I have called Londale six times in the last few days and he will not answer my call nor call me back. If you are approached by Londale Kirk and Brandon Miranda please do not believe a word that they say. They will lie to your face until they get what they want then they disappear immediately after they are exposed.

AT&T and Asurion are companies NOT to be trusted. I had a problem with my iPad and Asurion sent me a replacement, however, the replacement they sent me was defective so I ask them to send me a return label so I could return the defective replacement, I also requested that they cancel the transaction and return my original device, I have since returned the defective device but neither Asurion or AT&T is taking responsible for the return of my iPad. They both took my money and now they have my iPad, what would you call this?

If I could give them no stars I would! AT&T customer service is below horrible. I called to simply transfer my service ( cable and internet) from AL to IL due to my husband being stationed in IL. The representative was supposed to place my account on hold and send return boxes for the equipment. I get to IL to find out my cable service was cancelled and ATT only transferred my internet service so of course I was hit with a early termination fee. In good faith, I setup my internet and renewed my cable service. The rep told me that the Termination fee would automatically credit once I reconnected the services. I waited a few weeks and the credit had not been applied. I called AT&T to only be passed around to multiple departs and representatives. Finally, I just asked to speak to a supervisor and they finally credited my account BUT the next bill I got hit with equipment charged! After calling AT&T multiples for a box. I called again today and the SUPERVISOR hung up on me and didn't call back. Poor customer service and leadership! I just want AT&T to do what is right but they pass you at round and make empty promises because they are poorly trained and they have a lot of out sourced calling centers that cause language barriers between the customer and representative. They never take ownership of their mistakes!

For 5 months they were charging me for Internet services which they never provided and when I disputed their Internet bills, they disconnected my Directv while the Directv services were fully paid and the TV and Internet services were never bundled. This what customers get when Feds allow the merging of AT&T and Directv.

We were lied to and no longer trust AT&T.
Location: AT&T store
Mountain Home, AR
AT&T Representative: Sierra
👉👉Do not trust in this people 👉 Sierra, she lied to us and the store manager said didn't honor what Sierra offered to us 😡They lied and they never honored their promised unless you have everything on paper! Buyers beware 📣🚨
We changed our carrier to AT&T in October 2023. Sierra, promised we going to have $700 in credit for changing our services from Verizon and it could be apply to our bills or new phone. We said "apply to our bills".
We live 40 minutes from Mountain Home, AR, every month we drove to the store to resolve billing issues. They over charge our bill charge and NEVER apply the credit they offered. Today (2/2/24) beside drive to the store in Mountain Home we decided call customer service. It was a waste of time 😡 After two hours on the phone with customer service and the store manager… they asked if we have a proof on paper of what Sierra offered then The store manager said did not recognize this offer and customer service said, we were "misinformed" by Sierra
We were tired to be on the phone and expressed our intention to change to another carrier, so the person on the phone quickly send us the PIN "we requested" … wow! During 4 months and the two hours we spent on the phone today, trying to make this work and the customer service beside help us was fast to send the PIN so we can change to another company I can see they not care about keep customer
Just think in 4 months you drove off a customer all because we were lied too! I would give a negative score if I could.
Buyers beware 🚨
