AT&T Inc. is an American multinational telecommunications corporation, headquartered at Whitacre Tower in downtown Dallas, Texas. This company has to provide the information about the companies. I've had At&t for many years. I'm still on their unlimited data plan. I moved and it's now been almost 4 months and still no service.
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
This company thought it was a good idea to buy up and merge all other companies.Now they are too big to operate properly. Driven by greed they swallowed all the competition and now there are no other services providers in the area. So people are stuck with worthless service from a worthless company. AT&T has had 50,119 grievances filed with the Better Business Bureau over the past three years.

The worst telecommunication company in history. Service is garbage. Customer service is artificial intelligence it cannot think or reason. Billing is automated so if you order a protect and it doesn't arrive you are automatically billed. You can't reach a human being in customer service. There is no organization. I called earlier in the day to get a business line. The guy I spoke with was in India or someplace. Yet his name was Josh.
He said he would have to have my account approved by his supervisor. It would take 30 minutes and he would call me back.
Well 3 hours went by. They didn't.
I called them back and I've been. On hold going on three hours. I gave them personal info but I don't want there service now. Just was seeing how long they would keep me waiting.
My internet which I have always had problems with has done nothing but increased. Not only did I get hacked bot now I'm at $90 a month and I don't even get good service. I contacted AT&T they told Br they would recommend a better service! Wow!
It's sad how much money AT&T makes a year and on Christmas they make their employees work! Your employees are the ones that make you so much money! Do better AT&T, hell Walmart lets their people off. What a $#*!ty company
They have went downhill so bad, I've been ripped off more than once and the so called high running great internet well I had way better service with Massillon cable way better internet! Hard to believe I've stuck with them 20 years! Leaving asap! No longer a good company! Just my opinion!
Worst decision you will ever make in your life. Quitting alcohol & drugs & sex would be less torture than being apart of the AT &T "family". This is the worst network in my life. Making me paying for a fault of there poor service. How for christ sake l pay for service not working in my location. AT&T is a fraud
We live in Canada and winter in the US and Mexico. The roaming fees with our Canadian carrier is over the top. As a result the last few years we purchase a 3 month plan for all three countries. Choosing the most data and unlimited call & text.
So up front we prepay for the months needed. Last year after one month it didn't renew, saying we need to make a payment. Keep in mind we paid in advance for 3 months. Let me explain. When you prepay it goes into your account and every month AT&T draws the money from your account.
Sounds great...? When you phone customer service they can't access pay as you go customers so they forward you to an automated system. There you can start a chat...online. On this chat I was told that I have to be in the US to resolve the situation.
This year I was told this year that I made a long distance call to Canada from Mexico for $35 and it drained my account and that I need to pay another Month's fee of $ 65.
It took me 5 hours to resolve this. I told them...my plan includes Mexico to Canada.
I will never deal with AT&T again. The whole situation was insane.
If you don't want your time wasted please do not go with At&T! I have been on hold for an hour because they make me pay more than I should and I'm supposed to talk to some from loyalty and it's been more than 1 hour wasting my $#*!ing time and still no one is on the phone with me. Literally the worst company!
At Costco I was told I would get a new iPhone for free. What a scam I got a new phone but my bill went from $59 to $103. I have been fighting with them for a year. I will be changing wireless companies after 25 years and I am canceling my Costco account. Costco is also liable for they allow AT&T sell in their store
Since I signed a contract with ATT the journey with this company is a nightmare…. I have to fight every 3 months over bills that are way too high. They lied about everything and want your money. I wish I could give this company 0 stars but I had to gave them one. One too much. Don't make the same mistake!
Went into my Costco and one of the crooks said they could get me a new phone and lower my bill.
I went for it and had to drop off my old phone to USPS. 4 months later they charged me $200+ for a non returned device fee and my bill has gone up to almost $120/mo for 1 line. They don't insure the returns so I found out USPS lost/stole my package and now I'm screwed.
Beware of this shady company and their greasy salespeople. I'll be switching to tmobile.
This company is a joke. They don't care about their customers, they have people working in the middle east that promise you stuff over the phone and then they don't want to honor it. In my case this person promised a $20 discount for bundling 2 services, and it took them 3 -4 months to bundle the services, and after that when i called to get my discount, they said the dont offer the discount anymore. I asked them to go back and listen to the recorded conversation, and they said they conversations stay on their system for only 30 days, are you kidding me? Bunch of incompetent people and im just waiting for the phones contract to end so i can leave this stupid company. Be careful with this company, run away!

AT&T popped a hole in the screen of one of my crawl space vents rather than going through the wall. I can no longer close my vent due to the fiber optic cable blocking it. This is a problem in the winter. They want to charge me $150 to fix their faulty installation because 90 days have passed. They refuse to fix their poor workmanship at no charge.
They came to my house on Thanksgiving Day and sold us a plan to get us out of another company with lies. They took our cell phone from the other company and told us that they would assume the charges that were owed to Verizon and that we would pay them in easy installments and now it turns out that Verizon took all the money they owed us and At&t says that I don't know who sold us and they have the contract and we have a cell phone activated with them. Surely it was the wind of the rose of Guadalupe that sold us and brought the scam to my house.
AT&T gave false information about the account and PIN we needed to transfer service from AT&T to T-Mobile several times. This wasted a week, and multiple hours were spent EVERY time we tried to port the phone number over to the new phone with T-Mobile.

AT&T lied, stalled, required five people on a conference call (including my husband and me) to transfer the phone number to the new phone.
IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A 5-10 MINUTE PROCESS!
Upon complaint to the AT&T Leadership Team, all I got was a phone call from the office of the president. During that phone call, Kevin advised that I can't expect everything to be accurate on AT&T's end when we're asking for information. Additionally, AT&T offered no financial payment for our hours spent on the issue due to AT&T's mistakes and false information because it wasn't our account, but a work account through my husband's company. Never mind that it still should have taken 5-10 minutes. The fact is, if you are transferring any number to your family plan carrier, you MUST be on the phone with these people.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH AT&T GAMES. My husband, his company's IT person (the AT&T account owner) and I wasted over $1,000 worth of work time BECAUSE OF AT&T. They won't take accountability and won't pay us back for lost productivity.

Horrible service. I called them three times (took multiple hours each time) because our last bill came out to be 700 ish dollars. All three times, they told me that they will lower down the bill to about 200 ish dollars. But all three times, they never changed the statement amount. Like if they couldn't lower the amount, why didn't they tell me…instead, I had to waste 3-4 hours of my time contacting them. Before the 700 dollar bill, I would usually pay about 130 ish dollars a month. Then the very last month, they suddenly up-charged us by over 500 dollars. Do not recommend them. I just went into Fred Meyer store in Vancouver Washington they offer me a really good deal and everything was going pretty good until
The very end so after they got all my info everything from me they make a final fraud test just to proof if it was me asking me question about nonsense of course I didn't know some of them and then they said I didn't pass the fraud test so they denied me from getting the deal I gave them all my personal info everything! And then they said I didn't pass? I was pretty upset I think is a scam from AT&T. I'm still really upset about it. I'll be watching my credit an my bank accounts this is not right.

After 25 minutes on hold for customer service I gave up. Att we pay you for a service and you take advantage of that. Extremely disappointed that a phone company doesn't have anyone answering their phones. Your an embarrassment
First off I wanna start by saying that I am still a current AT&T customer at the time of this review. Buckle up. It's rough.
Let's start by the apparent lust for monetary manipulation on low-income customers such as myself. For the past year and a half I had been paying $80-$90 a month for just myself. This bill this past month is a whopping $185. And no one at the great corporate office can tell me why.
Secondly, the absolute audacity of threatening to shut off service after missing one payment for two days. Pathetic. In the modern day and age we all need our cellular service. I'm a truck driver and that's the only way I stay in touch with my family.
Lastly, AT&T is the absolute scum of the big cellular corporations in the US. The apathetic attitude towards customers, the lust for more money, and the worst attitudes given at stores. Really bad. Stay far away.

Company is a rip off. Got charged $99 dollars for a tech to come out and wasn't aware of fee to service their own equipment. Called customer service and she was rude and sounded like it was an overseas call. Not American.
I currently have wireless & internet service & in the process of moving but don't have an actual address for transfer my home internet. Called to place my account on temporary hold until I move & was told I have two options which is place it on vacation mode & pay the monthly fee or continue paying my monthly bill… so in other words I gotta PAY for internet I'm not using. It's really sad that they are allowing this!

Ordered a SIM card to use with my own phone, it was supposed to arrive overnight, didn't arrive for 6 days. I cancelled the account on the 5th day, before I got the SIM card. They are still sending a bill and threatening to send it to collections if I don't pay. At sign-up, they state that the account is active upon activation of the SIM card. The email is automated so it rejects replies. I called the phone number in the email, was transferred 3 times, there is no account associated with my name or SS#.
