Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.

My parents had internet and wanted to cancel because of the unstable internet issue. "Fortunately" the phone agent they spoke to was able to get another Korean speaking agent on the line who stated that they will continue with the internet cancellation. Skip forward 1 month and now my parents got charged for a full internet service they did not even use or have. Now I spoke to an agent regarding this issue on behalf of my parents and they even submitted an adjustment process to reduce or fully remove the bill. The agent stated, "you shall receive an email or phone call within 3-5 days after regarding the adjustment." I even asked for the reference number to both the adjustment process and our call. Skip to present time (2 weeks after I made the initial call) and I have been transferred 4 times to speak to someone who can pull up my adjustment process. The workers themselves don't even know what they are doing or what I am calling about. I spoke to each and every one of the agent politely because I know it is NOT their fault but when AT&T appears to be trying to avoid expunging or at least adjusting this scam of a bill, it is infuriating. DO NOT GET AT&T for any services. I enough elderly people have been scammed like my parents have been, where the agents told them that they will cancel their internet plan but didn't and still got billed, please report to Federal Trade Commission to build a class action suit if need.

Horrible Customer Service, They gave me the run around when I tried to unlock my phone that I paid them for and waited over the 48 hour time period. I have been a customer for over 15 years and they had me on the unlimited plan I chose about a year ago, then all the sudden my bill goes up $75 a month and they try to tell me that's how much it has been! I had them look at my previous bills and they couldn't even argue but said that's the price now. I still have not been able to unlock my phone and have to ask them to refund my payment for the phone. AT&T LOST ME FOREVER! I HAD 6 LINES WITH THEM.

The employees of this company should sit for an Amazon.com class on customer service. This is a phone company, and when you call them, on your phone, to ask for help, they put you through the ringer, hang up on you, refuse to allow you speak with a supervisor, and in general, don't really speak to customers in a way that helps them understand their unnecessarily overcomplicated system of hoops they have you jump through just to process a payment to them. They are a huge bureaucratic organization where all the people really don't know their a$$ from their elbow. I just spent two hours on the phone tonight trying to have them process a payment. Two hours. Two whole hours. One payment. I spoke to two people, and they both had a different set of rules for verification, as if they are making it up as they go along just to give you a hard time and to get you to use the app and stop calling and bothering them. If that's what they want, fine! I hope the company fires all of their useless customer service agents, and as soon as a company comes up with a better deal where I can use the phone I have now, I will jump from AT&T faster than a sailor on a sinking ship.

There's a reason why AT&T had a class action lawsuit against them. They are corporate double talkers with unclear terms and procedures. They have been for as long as I can remember, and they most likely always will be until someone comes along, shows them how to do it better, and steals all their customers until they're crying in their soup at the soup kitchen.

I've used AT&T for years. Masochistic of me. I hate AT&T and have told the young salespeople at AT&T kiosks that straight. Whenever there is an issue, I know it is going to take hours to resolve it, including just trying to get to a human on the phone. To save $5 more a month, I signed up for autopay for my bill. AT&T is sooooo strange in the way it does business, never ceases to amaze me. There has always been a due date on my bill, but now that it is "autopay", they removed the due date!? WTH. I was on the phone for an hour. The person I spoke with could not offer any reason why they would not only change my due date, but why they would remove the due date from the bill altogether. THEN AT&T sends me a customer survey "How can we do better?". All they asked was my age, if I am an AT&T customer, and why I contacted AT&T. No questions whatsoever about asking how they can do better or whether the issue was resolved. Why? I truly believe AT&T actually DOES NOT CARE and is not interested the truth of its customers having issues with the company as long as they get that monthly payment. When another company comes along that can match AT&T, I will definitely give them a shot. Unbelievable. At least AT&T is consistent in making me feel frustrated and unheard.

I work out of my home; but the Wi-Fi service through AT&T is out more than in. I end up driving to the office to send quotes, answer emails and talking to my customers.
The U-verse TV is out about 70% of the time. No internet service HDMI 1 is not connected. Oh, I'm well acquainted with that one!
Recently our internet was out for 46 hours. The online tech said the gateway was malfunctioning and I needed a service tech with a new box because mine was 12 years old. The on-site service tech came out and replaced the box. Said the old box no longer worked. Then I was charged $99 for the service call because the online tech said they fixed the problem online.
Calling the billing department is a joke. They don't care! A woman said the $99 will be added to the next bill because the online service center (in El Salvador) wrote that they fixed the issue. She didn't care that their on-site device tech had to replace the box.
My experience with AT&T over the past 25 years has gone down the slippery slope of switching to another provider. The AT&T monthly bill is over $269 for having service only 70% of the time. Looking at Spectrum now for faster and more reliable internet.

PS: Regarding the employee who was working alone on Saturday 7/29 between 6pm-6:30pm at the ATT store on 395 Easton Rd, Warrington PA, Creekview Center: when me & my 12yo son walked in the store, you were playing a song from Drake. I know that because I have tickets for his concert on 8/1 in Philly. Then! We sit down to discuss upgrading my son's phone and the next song playing was saying "The N-word," "The P-word," "The B-word." (All curses if you can't figure it out). I thought to myself how unbelievably inappropriate to be playing that in a store in front of customers especially a 12yo! Is ATT ok with those song choices? This same employee started talking to me like complete trash & basically threw me & my son out of the store while yelling at me the entire time, not listening to 1 word I was trying to say just because he wanted me to pay $500 for an upgrade that was eligible for a $100 upgrade. If that's not grounds for immediate termination, I don't know what is. Oh! Did I mention I've been an ATT customer for probably 10+ years and this employee has worked there maybe a year? Great customer service! Fire him.

Recently I made a payment I failed to pay on the exact day of my scheduled payment paid 2 days later but paid still had a payment arrangement set up they cut off the phones cause they said the first arrangement was broken didn't allow me to pay half had to pay whome bill this company is so, bogus I can't believe that even mangers are not helpful I had the worse morning with this company I'm not on the AT&T but if I could port all my lines I would, they're so unreasonable never have any suggestions to help u like, Verizon I've been with for years I luv their service & im treated with respect with them they're truly family oriented & respectful to all customers never had issues with them I highly recommend them over at& T for any type service

I switched to AT&T from T-Mobile due to a promotion they were having. It was GENUINELY the worst mistake I have ever made. These people are horrific with random charges on your account. I call them almost every month due to random charges and cancelations on my autopay that I never agreed to? Their customer service representative PURPOSELY hangs up on you and NEVER calls you back(this has happened to me a few times when I called for the extra charges that I never agreed to) Michelle one of the customer service agents being one of them. I have read the reviews on this website and noticed a lot of their customers are having this issue. It's surprising to me that AT&T being the big "successful" company they are, they treat their customers so terribly.

I switched to AT&T due to the good deals and our local store seemed like a good place to go. The local store was good, people were helpful and seemed like they wanted to resolve problems. The problems started with the first bill, it was not what the store quoted and after numerous calls to them were told the plan we were enrolled in did not exist. Went back to the store and they called and had a fight with them and told us everything would be fixed. 5 months later, nothing is fixed.
We did not get agreed upon rate and then we were told to return our old phones for $1600 reimbursement. Call constantly and they say they do not have phones. I got signed receipts from UPS with their employee signing for the packages and sent that to them, no response.
My next step is BBB and hoping they can put some fear into them. They are unresponsive, have no follow up and really do not care about their customers. Stay away!
Still calling and still no call back. I am starting to believe this phone return is a scam, you send in the phones and they sell them elsewhere. Why is this being allowed to continue?

Impossible to get a hold of the right person on the phone, ironically. AT&T customer service is OK once you get them on the phone. Their website is also impossible to log in to.

I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF AT&T WIRELESS SINCE 1999. I I HAVE HAD A IPHONE SINCE THEY CAME OUT. WHEN UPGRADING IN THE PAST THEY USE TO GIVE YOU CREDIT INSTANTLY FOR YOUR OLD OHONE AND HELP WITH THE PURCHASE OF YOU NEW PHONE. WELL AS WE ALL KNOW THE COST OF NEW PHONES IS CRAZY HIGH. I HAD A IPHONE 12 PRO MAX AND UPGRADED TO THE IPHONE 13 PROMAX, I DID IT ON THE MONTHLY PLAN AND TRADED IN MY 12, GOT A $1000.00 CREDIT BUT AT&T SPREADS THE CREDIT OUT OVER 36 MONTHS. I WANTED THE IPHONE 14, BUT STILL OWED A BALANCE SO I PAID IT OFF. I WAS TOLD MY CREDIT WOULD CONTINUE BY AT&T REP, SO I ORDERED THE 14 AND SENT MY 13 IN AS A TRADE, BTW ATT STILL OWED ME $583.00 FOR CREDIT ON THE 12. NOW THEY ARE TELL ME THAT SINCE I UPGRADED THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP MY $583. I FULFILLED MY AGREEMENT AND PAID MY PHONE OFF, THEY SHOULD FULFILL THEIR AGREEMENT AND PAY MY $583.00. We consciously decided against utilizing the above states as the country that we are in does not support 5G. This happened last year when we subscribed to the international plan but ended up with shoddy hit and miss phone service. We couldn't use our phones when we needed it most. This time we switched off our data plan on our phone settings and got a local wifi phone service to enable us to text our kids. Imagine our surprise when we're were billed for international plan without our consent. To what extent can we take our phones out of the country and not be billed for the international plan. AT&T hides behind shoddy bot or foreign representation customer service that is not helpful at all in solving our problem. We are good paying customers and have not faulted in our payments. AT&T sucks as a phone company and their customer services fails us miserably. We also received notification that our phone plan will be increased soon and their terrible service does not warrant a plan hike.

I am currently getting a divorce and had to vacate my residence due to this. My soon to be ex had been gone for 1 1/2 years. I called and canceled my DirectTV/AT&T account. I couldn't get the equipment from my residence, my County Sheriff's Office refused to escort me due to my ex's instability. I called DirectTV/AT&T and informed them of the situation. I had DirectTV for about 20 years and have never been late on a payment. They sent me emails every month about my bill. I finally decided to pay for the equipment and when I called DirectTV/AT&T wouldn't accept my debit card over the phone due to non-payment of the bill. I had to give them my bank account info to pay. I wouldn't recommend DirectTV/AT&T service to anyone. I will never have another DirectTV/AT&T account again!

This company is the worst company ever they adore to overcharge you from first day you join! I was T-Mobile. I went to pay my attnt internet, their branch manager tried to convince me to come ATT&T and I will pay the less like $70 but from 1st month I'm paying $110 more for all my 3 lines!
Also today I received a text msg that my auto payment didn't go through please check your account, I changed my cc last month but I forgot to update my attnt with the new cc number, so they didn't send a text msg since Nov 12th of the payment return until the payment passed due to overcharge me $68 more. They just decide to send me this text after the overcharge, when I called their customer service they didn't care if I will leave them or not but what they concern, is to get the new cc to charge me. I am sad to see att&t in this status now from a huge big company to an unprofessional local company! I regret of leaving T-Mobile in the meantime I will be so proud of the day I leave ATT&T! Can't wait to payoff my phone to run away!
