After the account was canceled in 2021. They continued to make automatic withdrawals from my account. I called them 1/4/2024 after discovering the withdrawals. Fortunately, I had the receipt for when I returned the equipment. I was told I did not cancel my account. Question to them: How would I know where to return the equipment, and why would I continue my account if I no longer had a way to watch?

A dispute citing service rep error in cancellation. Then, on 1/18/2024, there was another automatic withdrawal of $210.40. I called 1/30/2024 to inquire about the outcome of my claim and recent withdrawal on 1/18/2024. I was told my account showed it was canceled on 1/5/2024, and it's too late for me to get this refund.
I was told that after being transferred to various departments, I would need to contact my bank and have them do a fraudulent claim for all withdrawals, including the most recent. I called back the following day to ask about the dates of withdrawals from 1/2022 and 2021. I could access most of the information from my bank account but wanted clarification that I could not access from my AT&T account. I was told they do not have that information. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
Every time I have called to have a simple question answered regarding my bill amount, they push to upsell. I have to say, I am sick of it. Why can't they just answer a simple question? It is enough to make me want to switch my wi-fi service to another vendor.
They do not care when the elderly's phone is not working. They will tell you they can't go out for at least seven days. My grandmother has been with them for 40 plus years. She is ninety years old have not spoken to her in over a week due to her phone lines being down. When you call AT&T they tell you there's nothing they can do. They will send a text out but it will be at least seven days. I explained to them that it is very crucial. They get out there ASAP she lives Alone.They do not care.This happens quite frequently with their line.

HAG is the worst company you can use for you Internet service in your house I'm not recommend I have camcast for 20 years they never left cable on top of the grass not even for one week I have a over 30 days my cable is here on top of my grass like this association. Why do you wrote me a letter Date not good do not change from Camcast to AT&T. What's the worst mistake? I have a make in my life on top of this they sold me four phones. The AT&T Kiosk inside BJ's wholesale club is not what the claim it is. I am in the store trying shop when a representative stopped me starting off friendly and making a great sounding offer-if I switched to them. While politely trying to walk away from them I said their has to be a catch to get a reply "no catch" if their was a catch BJ's would not allow us to sell in the store! Well guess what, that statement was wrong. Even after my hesitation the AT&T representative was super pushy and against my better judgement I ended up reluctantly hearing them out. I asked multiple times if I can change my mind and he said yes anytime within 30 days. So I left the store very uneasy about my choice but knew (well according to the representative) I had 30 days to cancel if I changed my mind. I decided I wanted to stay with my current provider as I am happy with them and getting more benefits than I would if I switched. I went back to BJ's a few times to find the kiosk empty and no AT&T representatives to talk to. I then remember them saying you can go to a store if i needed help. Well it turns out, the promised 30-day return policy is a joke and is basically a complete lie. Trying to get any help or any correct consistant information is non-existant. One store told me I had to go back to the Kiosk at BJ's, another store told me to call customer service.I tried calling customer service and was told I they cannot do anything for me and I cannot return the phones, despite what the AT&T representative told me. I got the run around by being told to go to a store then back to the kiosk and to an extremely unhelpful customer service representative that refused to put me through to her manager. Now I'm stuck with these phones they are saying I can't return, and i am feeling forced into a service i do NOT want. I have never dealt with a company that provides such false and misleading information.
I used Tobe a customer of At&t before but I switched to Tmobile since I had issue with my billing with AT&T. After 5 years I got an offer from AT&T that I liked and decided to switch to AT&T. I bought this service from Costco so I was feeling peace and thinking it was all set. And the bad part was Autopay. After 6 months I realized that AT&T was charging me $100 extra every month. When I called them they explain all charges that was not mentioned when I purchase the service. And the way they resolve my issue is dropping me from my current plan to lower plan. I recommend every one to be careful before purchasing the AT&T service.
I wish i can give ATT 0 start for the bad customer service. If you choose to switch plan midway, you will be double charged for the time. Why ATT thinks it's make sense! I just spent 1 hour of my time on the chat (because their phone services don't work on the weekends) and manager with supervisor we're transferring me to each other pretending they don't have access to the history of the chat and made me repeat my question 20 times. The wait time of replying to the same question was 3-6 minutes!

I was immediately told that they could not call customer service and he refused to try, so as Istormed out was told sarcastically "have a nice day". Went to new carrier and they workedwith me for another hour getting in touch witha breathing person and that person finally checked and found that those requests to unlock had never been submitted and as soon as he did both phones were immediately unlocked. So I was lied to by customer service and by the at&t store sales reps twice! I will do without a phone before goingback to at&t. Besides I saved $140 per month by leaving at&t.

I switched my service from Verizon to AT&T. While switching I was gifted an Apple iWatch for free for being a first responder and being apart of the First Net program. Turns out the watch was not free and I have been paying for it every month since receiving it. I have contacted AT&T about this matter multiple times over the last 2 months and have received no help whatsoever. Their "first net" is a joke.
I ordered a new IPhone 15 from them online I put full shipping address when ordered well whoever packaged it didn't put the full address on it. UPS couldn't deliver it back to me so they returned it. I told them when they got it back I wanted the phone and the line cancelled and I want my $52.70 refunded back. So far I've been given the run around one person said it will take a couple of hours to a day for it to be processed which was a lie. Now the next person says 5 to 7 business days well I'll give them that then I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB or FCC.
I'm not even sure where to begin…my fiancé has terminal stage 4 breast cancer, she's unable to work. She had a cancer organization pay for her phone plan for a couple of months. *Note, it takes about 6 months in my experience for an organization to reach out to you considering the other cancer patients they are helping out. We visited an AT&T store to add $180 to her account to keep the account current that we didn't have (waiting on the cancer organization) come to find out she has $200+ credits. The store associate was confused of why we were even paying $180. I guess AT&T is against using store credit to put towards a bill…idk. Her phone was cut back on because the $440 the cancer organization added to her AT&T account plus the $180 that came out our pocket in store. We don't understand why the $180 was needed due to the $200+ credits on her account already. We called customer service to have the $180 reversed because it wasn't really needed the first place, by the way…customer service is absolutely rude and completely useless. The customer service rep reversed the $440 instead of the $180 and it canceled her service completely. On top of that they aren't able to reverse the $180 that we paid in store with a card to but able to reverse the $440 that was processed back in November from the cancer organization… the rep canceled and reversed the wrong transaction and it completely screwed her account. *Note we have no idea which organization it came from, it will also take another 6 months for them to even reach back out to her. The negligence and ignorance of the customer service rep costed my fiancé her entire phone plan and account and there's nothing AT&T can do about it. I'm not sure why we have to suffer because the rep canceled and reversed the wrong transaction. She should be credited $440 due to the wrong doing of the rep, that was not our fault the customer service rep is dumb and incompetent of doing his job correctly. I'm out $440 plus $180 almost $600 now and there's apparently nothing y'all can do about it. I'm going to contact BBB. I'm beside myself.
Would never purchase any ATT product or Warner Bro items. Today, the ID station, owned by Warner Bros which is a subsidiary of AT&T advertised an AIDs medication wherein males are shown in intimate caresses and disgusting kissing scenes. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission.
