AT&T Inc. is an American multinational telecommunications corporation, headquartered at Whitacre Tower in downtown Dallas, Texas. This company has to provide the information about the companies. I've had At&t for many years. I'm still on their unlimited data plan. I moved and it's now been almost 4 months and still no service.
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
If everyone would just cancel their service and go to other providers we could really put them out our business. I was a customer for 9 years and after I changed services and paid off my phones they still didn't unlock them for me to use with another provider. I have upgraded and paid for 4 phones and they are all locked.

Go to T mobile you can get 3 lines for 140 verses the unlimited I was paying at Att. The are a plague.

When we were transferring our server to a different carrier, we needed AT&T to release port protection to retain our phone number. I contacted them seven times, and each call involved navigating through a lengthy menu before speaking to an actual person. On one occasion, I only heard background noise from the representative's end. After several minutes without clear communication, I had to hang up. Later, I discovered that the line had been placed under fraudulent protection, which took me 2 additional calls to solve the issue. All these people in the fraud protection who ask questions are with a strong accent.
Their customer support is quite frankly the worst I've ever dealt with specifically the fraud protection who try and get aggressive with you because you can't remember something right away this whole company needs to be dissolved
I had regular AT&T internet and didn't have any major issues. Soon after converted and upgraded to fiber optic all went down hill from there. It is down almost weekly days at a time. No billing adjustments for the days it was down. You can't speak to anyone unless you stay on hold for an extended period of time. Terrible
First it took a month and half to get for them to get our phones out of a port barn. Never knew there was such a thing. No one could call us. We could call out at least. Bill is always higher than it was supposed to be. Now they took away our HBO Max. Never was notified. I think the BBB should get involved. They don't stick to their contracts. Only part they stick to is the high price phones. I don't understand how they keep getting away with fraudulent contracts.

They transferred my call 3 different times and asked the same questions. All I wanted to do was transfer someone else's account into my name. Just terrible! They took forever as well. And they didn't understand anything we were saying. I'm usually not a person to leave reviews or judge but I'll make an exception for this.

The feeder box in front of my house is missing the front panel exposing wires. I had to speak to 6 people before someone was able to schedule a technician to address the issue. The first two calls went to the Philippines and they didn't even understand the problem, they thought it was a satellite TV or cell service. One person got all my info, not sure why it is an outside unit, and they gave me a phone number to call which was the same number I reached him at. It was finally the 6th person who understood and scheduled a technician. That means I should only be paying 1/6 of what they bill me because they are paying a lot of useless people with the money they charge me.

Att&t is one of the worst internet providers for gaming systems around. I utterly hate this company with a passion. Their techs are incompetent and have no idea what they are doing. Furthermore I pray everyday that xfinity or some other provider comes into our area for service until then I will remain miserable.
Been w/o service for a week…. Technician shows up & notes he fixed my issue, but not once did he knock on my door to check with me. So now guess what, we have to do it all over again tomorrow. Save yourself the trouble and don't choose AT&T for service

Good luck getting signal. Used to get okay service. The last year has been horrible. I've asked several times about a tower being down and they say there isn't. Probably selling all the data out to the off brand companies!
The service is fatal, very bad. But very bad. I am not one to give negative opinions but I am really disappointed, I started a purchase of a new device at 11 pm online. To change my telephone operator. They charged me the $84 in taxes. Furthermore, the person who was assisting me with the online chat could not finish the process and gave me an ID number to continue it the next day (today). Well, I spent all morning and part of the afternoon trying to get in touch and when I was finally able to get in touch, they told me that there was no order number in my name and that I had to make the purchase again because they would refund the money I already paid between 3-5 days and that is the only option they can give me. As simple as that. A lot of irresponsibility and lack of empathy with the client and even more so a new client, and I wanted to change because my friends recommended it to me and the service has been FATAL since day 1. And they talk to you as simply as there is no other option you like or not. So watch if you want. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Back in February of 2021 an att salesmen came to my door and offered cheaper rates and new phones. Well let's just say we got newer phones but the services were sky high. I had 4 lines which averaged out to be about 450$ a month. This by far has been my worst adult decision ever. After a year plus of pay this ridiculous bill I slipped up and missed a payment and called the next day from a text now number because they won't let u speak to anyone from your suspended phone. I was told that a payment of the full 800 bill must be paid and I couldn't even get my phone number back after having it for 5 yrs. My advice is to never choose these guys. They are heartless and very unhelpful

This is worst company selling phones and service's. Charging high dollar to customers yet their Customer service can't even answer calls or call back over hour half wait now. Att changes your plan to high dollar without asking. Claim no strings attached whatever plan you want then how does this happen signed up for $50.00 plan yet being charged 118.76 monthly. That's even above paying phone plan plus phone would only cost about 80 dollars. Now they don't answer phones to fix this either. Service issues as well since I've been with Att. Who would want this type of treatment. It was much better t- mobile never had any problems billing errors or reception
If I could I would give them -10. I talked to Kaylee who told us pricing with everything included. We were going to pay 180 to 190 monthly. Turns out they scam you, our bill is $250 monthly! They are horrible at customer service and don't care. As long as they can make money off of you, they don't care how they treat you or over price you. I regret transferring to this POS company.
Bad experience from start to finish. Service charges are uncompetitive compared to other carriers, bogus access charges, international data service is a total rip off (look at google Fi, for example), international roaming - be ware, if you are abroad and receive calls which you don't pick up- still charges appear, $3 per call, spam calls, anything. At the end, they charge you monthly for their services in advance, and if you disconnect them, you still need to pay in advance for the last month even if you don't use it. Otherwise late fees. Cannot dispute or argue anything, cannot contact them by email, must call, must speak to 5 service reps, because no one knows what's going on, must waste hours on the phone, ruin your day. Wish those clowns learn someday how to do business right, its competitive now, and not America of 70s.
Long wait times and when you do get a human they do not listen or understand what you are talking about. Also double dipped on my bank account and another's as we separated our auto pay into two separate accounts. When asked to speak to their supervisor was told they were in a meeting and would call me back within one hour. Didn't happen and can't say I am surprised.

Ran into Dobbs Ferry AT&T to get a Sim Card replaced. Behold, One Sales Person, One Customer in front of me. Sat and waited 25 minutes. Once attended to. The problem was unable to be fixed.

I've been paying AT&T's inflated prices for years. I finally decided to switch out but it looks like AT&T wants to keep billing me in perpetuity for a service I am not and will not ever be using. (I don't even know where the sim card is at.) I've been hung up on four times by the customer service representatives who do not return the "dropped" call. At this time I have spent four hours attempting to do what should be available on their website. I'm still stuck in their racket because the customer service center closed while I was waiting for an operator the last time. I will be boycotting AT&T forever along with my large extended family. Please go bankrupt soon. If you would like to ride around in my trunk for four hours and then give me 60$ to be let out I might call us even.
AT&T has gotten so large that they could care less if even 10% of their clients gave them one star. Deceptive, scammers, poor service, poor everything. I've had pigeons help me more than an att rep. I get better internet in a third world country that with my att service. Sad for the people that MUST stay with this service.

If I could give them 0 I would! They are rude and not helpful! Also you see extra charges on your account every once in a while! I just left AT & T and that was the best decision I have made! So happy with T-mobile!
From the moment I began my journey with AT & T switching from a company I had been with for over 30 years, things became apparent. The store people all have different information, none can actually tell you what your monthly bill will be. Customer service on the phone is less than helpful and I was told to switch to T-Mobile by one of these programmed individuals. No Help in any direction Billing is two months in advance and any change is cause for activation fees, this fee and that fee and other such fees. I am removing myself from this fiasco and it will coast me $1000. To pay off new phones before I can leave. Please do not switch to AT & T.
