Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
Been with the company for over a decade. They raised prices even though I had a locked in price for dish network.
Tip for consumers:
AT&T does not live up to their contracts.

AT&T $#*!ING SUCKS! From the customer service to the $#*!ty wireless service they provide. They make promises to you that they can't and won't keep, then rape you for your money and leave you with $#*!ty customer reps who pass you around because "That's another department who handles your issue, but we will be more than happy to transfer you; Please hold." Pushing you back to the $#*!ing automated system to speak with 20 other $#*!ing none helpful $#*!ers!
Short version of the bull$#*!...I bought a new iPhone and was suppose to receive a trade in credit of $1000, but never received it. Had issues shipping the phone out and was recommended that I bring the device to the store to have it shipped back. $#*!ING SURPRISE AT&T states they never received the device, now they have to do an investigation but still wants me to $#*!ing pay. Every time I call these $#*!ers I end up speaking to at minimum 8 to 12 reps that can't help.
AT&T I $#*!ING HATE YOU AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS CONTRACT TO END! Your lucky I had to give you $#*!ers a star to post this review

Worst excuse for customer service I have ever seen. Ordered a new phone. They said it would be delivered BY HAND 10am-noon the next day. I had multiple emails and texts assuring me of the delivery time.
Sounded too good to be true and it was. At 1pm I contacted them and was first told that I had ordered it for store delivery. NOPE. Then I was promised that it would arrive in "1-2 hours". That didn't happen either. During my 2nd attempt to locate my new phone I was told "4-6pm" for delivery. WHAT? "Oh we never told you it would be earlier than that". Um I have it in writing. "Oh, well it will be 4-6pm. WTH? They selected the original delivery time, not me. When I asked for an explanation I was told "we're just the billing department". Don't care what department they work in. FIX IT.
It finally showed up at 4:30. Was again told that was the scheduled time. Showed them the email and text. "Oh, I don't know why you got that". SMH Found out AT&T contracts their delivery and set-up. They just didn't feel like following the set schedule. Took about 45 mins for the phone to transfer data... and here's the real kicker. They deactivated my old phone, but FORGOT TO ACTIVATE THE NEW ONE. That took another 3 hours online with AT&T.
Still no explanation about why I was LIED to. I kept the transcripts of all the chat sessions so I have a record of their LIES.

A charge was made to my checking account (through my debit card) regarding ATT TV NOW, which is a service I don't have. I called, stayed over 2 hours on the phone, was transferred to 8 (EIGHT) different departments. Every single time they would ask me for an account number - which I don't have, since I don't have the service. The last person was a woman who treated me like I was stupid and kept asking for more e-mails or phone numbers to every member of the family (even if it's a business account!) to check which account it was linked to. At first I told her this was not a service we had hired (we don't even have a TV in the office), but she kept insisiting, so I gave her everyone's number and e-mail to check. OF COURSE she didn't find anything and told me there was nothing they could do. I told her I have the card number that was charged, so she could look it up and see which account it is linked to, it seemed like a simple solution, but she said AT&T didn't have that kind of access, so that was it! WHAT? Now I will call my bank to dispute the charge, but the complete carelessness of this company goes beyond the acceptable! I literally lost over 2 hours of my life for a charge to a service I never even hired. It makes NO SENSE that they wouldn't match the person's card information to the one they have in the account they're charging!

Wanted to switch to a different carrier so I went to an AT&T store near me. Paid $1,200 to pay off two phones and asked to have them unlocked. Assoc. Toldme they would be unlocked in a few minutes. There other carrier atempted to set up my service with my phones and couldn't because phones wereneverunlocked. The assoc. Worked for three hour on thephone with at&t trying to get
My phones unlocked and all we got was the run around about it taking 1 to 48 hours to unlock and that the reuest hadbeen submitted.
Went back to at&t store the next day and wasgiven some kind of ridiculous answer about there being a world wide phone locking service and it wasn't at&t which is BS and was told they would probably unlock later that day. Went back to at& t the 3rd day and askedan assoc. If he would call customer service for me and check on the status of my unlock process because I didn't have a phone because of them. I was immediately told that they could not call customer service and he refused to try, so as Istormed out was told sarcastically "have a nice day". Went to new carrier and they workedwith me for another hour getting in touch witha breathing person and that person finally checked and found that those requests to unlock had never been submitted and as soon as he did both phones were immediately unlocked. So I was lied to by customer service and by the at&t store sales reps twice! I will do without a phone before goingback to at&t. Besides I saved $140 per month by leaving at&t.

I had AT&T about 5 years ago and cancelled due to my bill being drastically different each month from $100-$200 difference. They push you to do automatic payments but would not recommend with this company. I switched back to Verizon Wireless for a couple years and decided to give AT&T a second chance due to their first responder discount. Everything has been fine but service is spotty. Well... I just moved on 3/31 and was set to get my internet moved to the new house on 4/2. The representative stated everything was good to go. Within in an hour of me placing the new order I got an email stating my order has been put on hold and to call them back. I called them back and was placed on hold for about 8-9 hours amongst 3 days for them to figure out the issue. Then come to find out the people did not know how to do their job and messed up my whole account causing them to cancel my original account and had to set me up a different one. I then was told I would have internet on Tuesday 4/5 and got an email today stating my order was cancelled after receiving a confirmation text stating they will be at my house on 4/5. Again, I had to make another phone call for them to tell me then order is still good to go for Tuesday, but I needed to register my account. Well... when I try to register my account there is an error and was told it could because my "internet service." I have no idea if I will get internet on Tuesday or not. It should not be complicated transferring internet from one place to another especially when your a current customer. If my internet is not here on Tuesday I will definitely be switching internet and cellphone providers. With being super pregnant and moving something that should not be stressful made my moving extremely stressful.

Was quoted one amount -- billed a $20.00 amount higher. Seems to be my problem now.
At least that was "Loyalty" told me!
Tip for consumers:
I am cancelling this service, not for the product, but for the lies when they give you a quote and then you end up paying $20 more per month!

I had been an ATT DSL customer since July 2015 with no problems. In September 2021 I called to have service disconnected because on Oct 2nd 2021 I would be moving to an area that ATT DSL didn't provide service. I received my Oct bill I called to see about final charges and was told that after I paid the Oct bill that paid for DSL service through September 2021 I would not owe anything else. November 10th I get a bill for 81.00 for charges from Aug to October 31st 2021. I called ATT customer service and was told I was charged an extra month. I was not informed at either time when I called in September to arrange to disconnect service or in October when I called about the billing I received. I told ATT on Nov 10th I didn't owe them anything I didn't use DSL service at all in October and I wasn't paying the bill. How can they charge me for internet service I didn't use plus charge me 20.00 for internet usage.
I am not paying that bill because I don't owe ATT a single solitary penny

Don't use AT&T and if you do, do NOT sign up for multiple lines. 6 years ago my son started a brand new AT&T account. 4 other people (myself included) were looking for new phone carriers so we jumped on his plan. Adding lines is cheaper in the long run right? WRONG. One person dropped off the account before the first year was up, paid off his phone and advised AT&T that he was going with a new provider and the line should be closed. Almost four years ago the couple split up and the ex-girlfriend did the same. Paid off the phone, advised AT&T. Us three remaining, myself and my two sons have been paying an additional $80 per month for phone lines that nobody is using. I personally pay $150-$200 a month for my personal line, paid off phone and $10 insurance (the discrepancy is dodgy accounting and depends on what AT&T feels like charging that month apparently).I price shopped, I could go to Verizon get a mid grade new phone and my own service for about $85 a month. I can't jump ship though because then I leave my two sons paying an extra $40 for MY unused line. Since this all began AT&T has made an additional $4320 in unused/cancelled phone lines on the account. One son (ngl) is unhelpful because he breaks his phone often and when replacing usually upgrades we can't cancel service with the cost of a phone owing. Multiple phone calls have been made but AT&T does nothing to rectify the situation. And it isn't like we had/have a contract. We didn't sign up for a 5 line lifetime commitment with AT&T. Theoretically if phones are paid we should be able to cancel service. The way they do business should be illegal.
